In one of the towers a Hufflepuff stood, holding a round, kind of like one of those muggle tennis balls you saw the muggle kids playing with, in her hand, but Seanna had bewitched, so that when she dropped the ball, it would come back to her, even if someone tried to keep it, it would always come back to her.
Carefully looking out of the window, watching to see if no one was below, Seanna dropped the ball and as soon as it hit the ground, it magically came back to her, Seanna caught and dropped it again, smiling to herself for thinking up a good trick.

Dezi watched the girl for sometime. Dezi wondered how someone could be so amazed at something so simple. For even she, who had grown up as a which, knew that the ball did that, not because of magic, but because it was made of rubber. "You didn't really bewitch it." Dezi called out to her. "The mugles made it to do that."

Brittany had felt like taking a walk around the castle. In hopes of finding something to do since nothing ever went on in the Gryffindor common room. Though she didn't get that far when she caught sight of two girls in one of the tower rooms she was passing. Stopping, she backed up and walked into the room a little ways. She didn't know either of them but had heard the last part of something one said.
"Muggles made what do what?" Brittany asked with a smile. She found it amusing when people here that had grown up in the witch world and had never been introduced to muggle objects tried to figure them out.

Anna was only a short distance away. She was walking along the corridor thinking to herself and trying to become familiar with the school, when she saw a few girls playing around with something strange.
"What's that thing you are playing with?" she asked amazed. She had never really seen anything like it before. "Aren't they things that muggles play with, or something?"

"Yes, it's a tennis ball, it's suposed to do that." Dezi told the girls who had just entered the room, "She thinks that she bewitched it."

Brittany tried. She tried really hard. Succeeded partially but couldn't keep the smile off her face. The laughter though she had managed to supress. Walking in a bit further due to the new girl that had just entered the room she looked at the girl that had explained this to her nodded.
"Thanks," then looking at the other girl that had entered after her she asked, "You raised in the magic world I'm guessing, right? What about you two?"

Anna stopped staring at the ball and turned to the girl who just asked her a question. "Yep, I was raised in the magic world, but my dad is a muggle born wizard. You would think he would tell me about things like that right?"

Brittany shook her head and shrugged. She didn't know, she had been raised in a muggle town and home all her life. So she really wouldn't know anything about that. But since she had been in the magic world the other half of her life then she knew of both worlds, which seemed to make things a lot simplier.
"I don't know. Really up to your dad on that. Guess he liked the wizarding way better. And what about the two of you? Not that I'm prying or anything, you don't have to answer." Brittany added on the last part so that she didn't offend any of them.

"My dad was half n' half, and my mum's a pure blood witch." Dezi said answering her question. "Dad worked for the Ministry. He got transfered to work in France, so I started school at Beauxbatons, and just transfered here after my he was killed by the deva." She continued, "Mum's in Dublin with my baby sisters. I don't know about her though." Dezi said gesturing twards the girl with the tennis ball. "I only just met her a few moments ago meself."

Brittany nodded. That was pretty interesting, she had never even heard of what the girl said her father was killed by. It sounded familiar but she could not for the life of her remember where she had heard about it. Whatever it was it must not be good since it killed the girls' father. Looking between the two girls that had responded she gave them both a kind smile.
"Well, now that I know your backgrounds how about some names?" Brittany laughed a bit then continued on to introduce her self, "Brittany Garland, Gryffindor sixth year."

Anna looked at Brittany and introduced herself. "My name is Anna Becket, Gryffindor third year." Then she turned around to the other girl. She felt really sorry for her. She knew what it was like to lose a loved one at the hands of DEVA. "You know, DEVA killed my grandfather when I was little. He worked for the phoneix regiment." she said

"That's terible." Dezi told Anna, able to relate to the pain. "I don't believe I said my name before." She thought outloud to herself about what she had said earlier. "Well, it's Dezi, Dezi Cianciolo. Ravenclaw fifth year. And who exactly are you?" She asked now looking over in the direction of the girl who was still being facinated by, what she thought, was the simplest thing.
