Not being used to cloaks and pointed hats and whatever else wizards used in such weather, Addison had opted to where his winter coat, boots, and gloves before trekking outside. He didn't want to be out here alone, but Aston had found the library and would be no use until he either got hungry or finished the first shelf of books.
As he pushed open the castle's large front doors, Addison let out a sigh and stared out over the white covered grounds. After a long moment, he took a step and set out towards the lake. There was perhaps a foot and a half out there and he would make use of it. Maybe making a snowman or starting a snowball fight with someone.

Lauren was wandering around outside, yet again. Still not to far from the castle, she didn't want to get to far ahead of herself yet. This time, the snow had fallen much harder and she had to trudge the slightest bit. Lauren wasn't the only out side. She saw scattered students all over the grounds. She saw a tiny boy, in particular. He was much smaller than she, and she approached him.
Maybe she could pick on him. Or maybe he was one of those huge people in tiny bodies, and maybe he was as annoyingly hyper as Belle had been. Maybe it was her imagination and the boy wasn't even there.

Addison trudged on, not sure where he was going or, really, where he wanted to go. It was too bad he hadn't been here when the snow was gone. Things were much easier to find when it didn't look the same as everything around it. At the moment everything was white. And covered in more of it than should be allowed.
"Oy!" the little boy cried out as he reached a particularly deep drift of snow. He thought there must have been a hidden hole underneath. It was the only way he could explain why the snow had suddenly reached to his mid-thigh. Of course, this made it very difficult for him and Addison was quite nearly stuck.

Lauren was shadowing the boy's trail. Though it was hard to do, she hid a snicker under her breath. She could see he was stuck and she walked towards him, a fair distance from where he fell, for extra precation.
"Um, a little stuck?"

"Erm...no," Addison replied, feeling unsettled by the sudden appearance of the girl. If he had been paying attention, he would have known that she was following him. Of course, he was more interested in the snow than in anything else and was quite surprised to find that anyone else was out and about.
Tugging on his little legs, the boy attempted to pull himself free. This is quite difficult, though, when one has nothing to hold onto but the snow around.

Lauren laughed, feeling a tad awkward with the boy semi-ignoring her. But Lauren wasn't one to give up, she would get a rise out of him. She knew it was weak picking on the younger students, but Lauren wasn't that old so he couldn't be that young.
"You look stuck. Is the wittle boy afraid to admit it?" She teased harshly, squatting down.

Addison glared at the girl, but didn't say anything. She was talking to him as though he were a baby. What and idiot. Didn't see see that he clearly did not wear diapers?
Giving another tug at his legs, Addison finally pulled himself free. He'd only gotten a few steps away from the girl, though, when he tripped over his boots and found himself buried in snow again.
