Keagan had pulled into the air right behind Brittany, but had gone after Sora instead of Charlie after take-off, unsure who would be most likely to grab the quaffle first and sure it was no one on her own team. Following that, it became clear very quickly she had nabbed the wrong chaser. However, the Slytherin team seemed to have some sort of method to their madness, and Britt had Charlie pretty well covered, so Keag had stuck on Sora, and below Charlie, as play progressed.
A wayward bludger had thrown her off her course behind the snake boy, and Keag had been trying to get back on her guarding position when Charlie had drop passed the quaffle down to him. Now Britt was covering Sora instead, and Keagan's mind was going insane. What was she supposed to do in this situation? That was the biggest issue she had with defense. Where do you focus your attention? Therefore, for the time being, Keag just followed up behind Sora carefully as he approached Brittany's broom, which was now turned sideways in front of the sixth year boy.

((I'M SOOOO SORRY I DIDN'T POST HERE YET!! bit of RL trouble...nearly broke my foot off, long story))
Deryn circled around the pitch, hunting for the Snitch. She squinted, trying to spot the glint of gold. Come on, what did Mum teach you? Deryn thought to herself, trying to remember what her mother had said. She had been so busy concentrating on the Snitch that Deryn didn't see a stray budlger comming right for her head. She ducked at the last second and nearly fell off her broom. "Bloody hell!" she screamed.
Changing her course, Deryn scanned over the pitch again, still unable to see the Snitch. She cursed loudly, and then whipped around to see if anyone had heard her. Seeing no one there, Deryn looked forwards again. She saw her captain with her broom turned sideways in front of a sixth year Snake. That did not look like a good situation.

Sonja took her time getting down to the Quidditch pitch. She had heard that Deryn was suppose to be playing Seeker for Gryffindor and Sonja wanted to come watch her make an idiot of herself. Although she wasn't playing herself, Sonja felt it her duty to come and cheer on her own team as well.
When she reached the seats, she sat by herself, hoping to see that boy she had met in the Common Room, Daniel, in action. She had heard that he too was on the Quidditch team, and she wanted to watch him play. When she looked up, Sonja saw a little third year Snake sitting a little way down. She decided she wasn't in any mood to be friendly, unless it involved Daniel, so she ignored the girl, and looked up at the sky and watched the excitement unfold.

Koren had no clue as to who was winning, but she gave the girl an answer anyway. "Our team?" she said unsure. All Koren knew was that she was there to support her team, and that's exacly what she did.

Sora's main focus was the center hoop and, if he was more awake and cautious, he would've seen Brittany swerve up in front of him. Unfortunately, Sora only noticed it as the last possible second, making collision inevitable. Sora's eyes widened as he tried to slow down but it was little too late. He collided into her with a loud thud, the quaffle falling down onto the ground.

Keagan had been well aware of Sora's path, and of Brittany's position across it, so the collision, fortunately, did not turn into a three broom pile-up. She was also entirely aware of the path of the quaffle following the crash, and dove after it, mentally crossing her fingers that Britt would be all right. The ball fell to the ground faster than she could fly after it, but she skimmed close to the ground and gathered it up with her hand, then sped off, shallowly, toward the other end of the pitch. She figured that if either Sora or Brittany were injured, then Hailey would be calling a halt to the game in no time.

Brittany clutched to her broomstick for dear life. When Sora collided with her, he smashed really hard into her left arm. It throbbed with pain and she had to bite down hard on her tongue to not let a scream escape her mouth. Her entire left side of her body hurt from Sora hitting hard into her. Though she was not going to let this slow her down at all. She quickly regained control with her broom and escalated back up to where most of the players were flying. Looking around in a bit of a panic, she felt a breath of relief come when she saw Keagan escaping down the field.
Ignoring her now throbbing left side, she clutched the broom with her right hand and took off after her. Unconciously, her left arm fell limp at her side and she seemed to lean forward a bit more than usual. She was hurt but she figured that as long as her right arm was able, she could play. There was no use in stopping the game when she still had one side of her that was fine.
All that mattered was that her plan had worked and that Gryffindor had the quaffle. Though a part of her mind was concerned for Sora and wanted desperately to stop and see if he was alright.

Deryn watched as the two players collided. She cringed when sher heard the thud, and was about to fly over to see if they were ok, when Keagan swooped down and grabbed the Quaffle. "Go Keag!" she yelled, swivelling around. Still searching for the Snitch, Deryn hoped Brittany was ok.
She didn't have much time to dwell on this however, as another stray Bludger came flying towards her head. She was less lucky this time and couldn't move as fast. The Bludger skimmed past her shoulder, but made contact. She screamed and nearly fell off her broom once again. "Where are the bloody beaters!?!?" she hollered to no one in particular, but she was pretty sure someone had heard her. A throbbing pain had taken over in her shoulder, and her eyes started to blur with tear. She wiped them away, and continued to fly around the top of the pitch.

The back of Sora's left palm collided hard with the side of Brittany's broom, hearing a tell-tale crack as he felt sharp, acute pain rush through his wrist,
"Ah, f***!" Sora let out before he bit his lip to stop anymore yells of pain or curses to come out. He looked over to Reina, indicating with his eyes to call a time out before he slowly descended towards the ground, hoping that Brittany was better off than he was.

All Koren knew was that she was there to support her team, and that's exacly what she did. "Great!" Jade started screaming and cheering on her team like everyone else. "C'mon, Slytherin! Hit that bludger! Throw the Quaffle!" She knew all of the ball's names and what you were suppossed to do with them, but that was it. She had once dated a quidditch player, but had broken up with him before he could teach her more. That particular relationship hadn't lasted more than a month an a half.

Charlie followed Sora's lead up until the crash, as she had been dodging another flying bludger. "Damned things, now I know how it feels," Charlie muttered, but as she swooped her broom upwards near the Lion hoops, she saw Sora descending while Brittany kept on trucking.
Making a loop-de-loop (a little parlor trick for the qudditch audience), she got to Sora, but still just hoveirng over him. "Sora--" She began, but she could tell that the collision caused more than mere bruises. "Dude-- REF! Get us a time-out, will ya? I've got an injured player." She actually didn't care about his injury. However, if he continued with the pain and he messed up her-- she meant, their-- game, then it would be worth it to call in an alternate.

Reina was yelling at the same time as Charlie while holding up her hands in a T. Sora was one of the best players and this wasn't good. Reina also noticed that Charlie's arm wasn't as good as it usually was. Darn it all!
"Time out Ref! Time out!"
Reina was already flying to Sora. She glared at his supposed girlfriend and rolled her eyes. They were going to lose the game. Reina dropped down beside him and looked up at Charlie with a scowl on her face.
"This freaking bites."

"I know, dude," Charlie replied as she looked up at the ref, and waved her 'T' frantically at him. The beginning of the game was already rough enough. She didn't know how the rest would turn out.
"Sora, man, how're you doin'?" She asked him. Might as well assess the damage so that they could get on with the game. She felt absolutely anxious over the game.

Sora looked at Charlie as if there was a huge sign plastered on her face with the words 'I'm an idiot!' written in bold black letters with lights to attract nearby passerbys, "I broke my wrist...How do you think I'm doing?" Sora asked, not bothering to hide the venom in his voice as he tried to not let the pain get to him but he was failing miserably.

Her attempt at looking concern dropped at his tone. "Oh, well, sorry Sora," she said rather defeatedly, and flew a little closer to him. Giving him no notice, she abruptly jabbed at his wrist. "Does it hurt here, though?" She did it once again. "Here?"
