Deryn's eyes slowed started to open again. Her entire head was throbbing and all she could see was grass. She realized she had landed face down, but it didn't really matter. She groaned and rolled over to face upwards. As she tried to sit up, a sharp through pulsed through her body and fell back down. Her breath was caught in her throat and she started to panic. Turning her head slowly to the side, she could see her broom a few feet away. Making a sad attempt to crawl towards it, Deryn groaned again. This was not good...

He hadn't seen it, the intial hit. But he had heard their beater calling out about it, which only made him look as their seeker weaved her way to the grand in sporatic, but somewhat controlled flying only to fall off a few feet from the ground. It was looking to be an eye for an eye game. And his automatic reaction to the situation now was to leave the posts because this time it had been one of their own to fall.
"Bloody hell...hope she's OK. Targeting the seeker was actually a smart play, but all it really did was make his blood boil because of the fact that while he saw movement, she wasn't sitting, or standing. She was crawling Which definitely signaled a hard hit.

TWEEEEEEET!
Ryder ran to the Gryffindor seeker's side and bent over her, wondering just how many more injuries would be sustained during the game. As this rate, the game wouldn't end until every single one of then was down.
"Can you stand?" the man asked, reaching a hand out to the girl. If it wasn't serious, they could continue with the game. If it was....well, Gryffindor would have to find a replacement or forfeit the game.

Deryn garbled some sort of answer. She grabbed Ryder's hand and hauled herself up, swaying slightly and struggling to stand. After a minute or two, the ground had stopped spinning, and Deryn could sort of see. Tears in her eyes were fogging her view more than anything. She felt the back of her head, and could already tell there was a huge bump.
Bending down, slowly, Deryn picked up her broom and mounted it. Her head was throbbing, but there was no way she was leaving the match. Not now. She looked at Ryder, but there wasn't only one of him. There were several Ryders (or so she saw) standing there too. After a second, she focused onto the real Ryder and nodded her head, which made it throb even more. "I'm fine," she mumbled. Still swaying, she pushed off the ground and flew around a little, just to see if she was ok. Her vision was sort of back and the pain in her head was now a steady throb. "Can I s-still p-p-play?" she stuttered.

Anna heard the whistle sound so she turned her broom around and dived toward where Deryn had hit the ground. When she approched her she was standing but swaying just a little. It must have been one nasty blow to the head but, at least she was standing and not crawling like before. "Are you sure you can still play Deryn?" she asked.

"I'm playin'," she said, looking Anna right in the eye, "I can't leave you guys out there. But only if Ryder says I'm allowed. I can go to the Hospital Wing later." Deryn swayed a lot as she said this and almost fell over again, but kept herself upright. Deryn slouched over, putting her hands on her knees and her head down. It stopped the world from spinning. Maybe she shouldn't play... No! You get yourself back out there! Shake it off! she scolded herself. Standing up again, she mounted her broom once more and looked over her shoulder at Anna. "You comin'?" she asked. Without waiting for a reply, Deryn was already back up into the air, and searching for the Snitch.

Daniel hadn't intended to hit the Gryffindor seeker hard enough to be knocked out of the game - well perhaps he had, but that looked like a bloody hard hit. He gritted his teeth, feeling rather bad in a way, but all the same, pleased with the fact he could have potentionally knocked the seeker from the game. Daniel scrowled when the Gryffie actually mounted her broom again, because she had willingly continued to play, meaning the bludger wasn't hit hard enough. But then again, the door of opprutunites, the blow might have been hard enough to cause her to be a bit disoriented, and therefore not as alert in finding the snitch.

Corey had started circleing about twenty feet from the ground, which eventually ended in him hovering there looking down at the scene below. She had remounted, and flew up by him in a moment, and Corey gratefully returned to the hoops in ten seconds. "Game day. Back to guard duty." He murmured to himself as he took a position infront of the middle hoop.
This was going to be a LONG game....or short depending on when the snitch was caught.

Sonja had seen the entire thing. She could see it coming from a mile away. And it was even better that it had been Daniel to hit the Bludger. Sonja watched gleefully as Deryn hit the ground. In fact, she cheered. It was a glorious sight to see. Sonja was sure they'd win the game now.
Not bothering to hide her happiness, Sonja continued to watch as Deryn crawled about the ground and finally stood up, swaying. Sonja laughed and pointed at her. But when she got up and flew off back into the game, Sonja scowled. There was no way she was ok enough to play. Hoping to see her fall again, Sonja sat back down and watched intently, cheering on Daniel to hit her again. "Knock her out of the game next time!" to hollered to him, hoping there was a small chance he had heard her.

(yet again, I get permission from Lauren to god mod her in)
Charlie was more than happy to see the seeker out. She couldn't help it, but she knew that the chance was more than hers. Er... she meant theirs. But as the time-out was called, Charlie scowled and only sat back on her broom to see how the game was going to go out.
As the Gryffindor seeker was being checked out by the ref, Charlie turned back to see her own seeker, who had also been seeking the snitch, her chances coming and going once in a while. It was no wonder. Charlie wasn't sure how seekers did it. But they did.
As she saw Deryn get up and fly, Charlie was on the offense again, but she couldn't help but glance at Lauren every once in a while. Sure enough, the time out was an advantage to her, for her flying seemed more sure now, more determined for the winner of the game. "Go get 'em," Charlie said. Somehow, she felt that Lauren wouldn't fail her this time.

(Kay, since no one answered me last time and I want to get this thing over with since we have another game underway, I'm saying we have the quaffle.)
Everything had happened so fast that Brittany had barely caught wind of it. She had, of course, darted down to make sure that Deryn was okay. But before she had even got to weigh in on the situation, the girl was demanding that she continued to play. Confused on what to do, she guessed since everyone was flying back up into the air that Deryn would play. Though, she completely was against this she didn't know if she could have found a back-up.
If the girl was hurt on her account she would be in even more grief. Seeing that she wouldn't be able to stop Deryn, she let her back in and was back up in the air. Getting frustrated and wanting this game to end she called, "Make sure Deryn does NOT get hit again! We only need one beater for us chasers!"
The quaffle quickly found the comfort of Brittany's arms as she sped off in the direction of the goals.

Since Deryn pleaded to continue playing and Brittney did not say anything against it, Rael just nodded at Brittney's words. She was fine with staying around Deryn, Anna could stay with the chasers. She turned her broom around to move closer to her, but remain far enough away that she would not distract Deryn from seeing the snitch.
As Brittney sped off down to the Slytherin end of the pitch with the quaffle again, she searched around for any bludgers that moved in on the Gryffindor seeker. As one of bludgers moved toward Deryn, she sped toward it and hit back at one of the Slytherin's. Brittney's thoughts were well along the same lines as Rael's. She just wanted the game to end, and soon.

"Where the hell is the Snitch?!" Deryn yelled. She had flown around the entire pitch about 4 times and still hadn't seen it. She saw Rael following her around and felt safer. Her entire head was still throbbing and her eyes started to fog over again. This was so not good. She needed to catch the Snitch. Now.
The pitch, it seemed, was bigger than before. It was probably because Deryn felt like her head was going to explode. She didn't even care anymore. She just wanted the game to be over.

Anna kicked off into the air right after Deryn. Hearing Britt's instructions about one beater staying with Deryn, she saw Rael go with her so she continued to follow the chasers. Seeing that there was no sign of danger yet for them, she continued to fly above them incase a bludger did come flying their way. Looking quickly behind her she saw Deryn flying in the back. She was a strong player but Anna couldn't help but worry that she might fall off again.

Sora kicked off as well, wincing slightly as he felt a small spasm of pain in his hurt wrist. He instantly moved towards their end of the field, moving into his defense position as his eyes never left the quaffle.
