Kalakin was currently hanging upside down in a tree by the lake. Her knee’s over a large a branch as she could find and her feet hooked into the tangle of twigs diagonal from that. She was very concealed by the thick leaves, just beginning to fleck with autumn color, so unless almost under her and looking up no one would see her. This also meant she could not see them, that did not matter though because, while hanging upside down she was also reading a book. She had to admit the blood rushing to her head was giving her a little bit of a headache but she did not mind and was enjoying the challenge of reading upside-down. Below her on the ground lay her black baseball cap, she had not thought of the fact it would fall off her head when climbing the tree, she also wore a dark green shirt that was rather loose and jeans with a hole in one knee, her shirt had been tucked into her pants before she fell but now had become untucked in several places.
Her bookmarks began to slip from where it was nestled between the pages, this was happening while she was turning the page so as she made to grab for the bookmark the book began to slip from her hand. She lunged to grab it and let the bookmark slip to the ground, but her sudden movement dislodged her from the tree. She dropped the book and hit the ground only a second after the book. Having thrown out her arm in instinct she landed on it first, this softened the blow to her head and shoulders, which was a good thing else she might had gotten a good deal of damage to her neck. The end result of the fall was having her sprawled out on the ground with a shooting pain in her left wrist.
Lying in a daze at first she did not notice the person just next to her that she had missed by inches. She moaned and held her wrist to her chest. Blinking the water from her eyes that had formed in response to the pain and shook her head experimentally, the fall had not helped her headache. Then she realized the other person and gave them a forced little grin and said, “Hi.”

Matty had not been aware that there was a person hanging in a tree reading a book, 2 metres away from her. The girl had just landed on herself and seemed to have fallen ontop of her wrist. The girls eyes were swelling up with tears, but Matty gave her a smile, (even though she didnt know her) to give her some encouragement. Matty got to her knees and looked at the girls wrist. It was red and had a bumpp sticking out of it. "Ouch, that looks pritty nasty, are you ok, im Matty" she said in a kind voice and riped off a loose peice of her pants to wrap around the girls wrist, with permission that she waited for.

Kala blinked the last few tears away, embarrassed, and pushed herself into a sitting position and held her wrist against her chest while extending her other hand to shake, “Kala.” She looked at her wrist and gentle touched and moved her fingers, she winced as she did that. She had broken plenty of things in her life to know when something was just sprained, this was not that. But she was not worried, with magic it could be fixed in a moment; she had broken her nose last year and the healer and fixed it in a moment. She looked around for her book while adding, “Yes, it is. But I have had much worse.” She winced a bit again as she moved, looking at the cloth that cloth that Matty had in her hand and nodded her consent.

Matty had continued to inch closer to Kala and carefully tied the cloth softly around her wrist. As she did the girl winced but only for a second or two. "There you go, that should help with the swelling for the moment". As Matty finished tieing it up, then Matty looked over to where Kala had searched for the book. She saw it and lened over to pick it up, Matty put the book mark into it and sliped it into her pocket so she could help the girl up. "Would you like me to come to the Hispital Wing with you?" she said in a conerned voice. And with that Matty got up and lowered her self so that she could help Kala up if she needed some.

“I’m fine,” Kala answered and let Matty help her up. “I can make it on my own.” But almost as soon as she was standing she was swept over with a wave of dizziness and had to lean against the tree. She wasn’t stupid enough to try and make it to the hospital wing on her own, and no matter how embarrassing she felt it would be to have somebody escort her there she figured it would be lest embarrassing than stumbling down the corridor and fainting on the way or something of the likes. “Uh, yeah. Could you?” Feeling a little better now she stopped leaning on the tree. Feeling a little better though still meant her arm was still in pain and her head was still pounding with a sharp head-ache.

Matty carefully walked over to Kala and lowered her shoulder so that she could rest her good arm onto it. She carefully started to amble slowly over towards to castle. Matty looked over at her wrist, it had swelled up more and the girl was becoming quite pale. She slowly started to keep stif and walk with the girl to the hospital wing. "Thought you'd say that after all, i wouldnt want you to fall over and shatter your wrist totally." but then quickley added "But not that that would happen!" Matty said with a sigh and they made their way carefully up towards to castle.

Kala laughed at Matty's comment as they made there way up across the lawns. "I wouldn't exactly with for that for Christmas either. Wouldn’t be fun. I’m sure the Healer what’s-her-name would be able to fix it if it shattered, hope so at least. Otherwise she wouldn’t be that good of a nurse. She should be able to set this at least.” Talking did not help her head-ache but it did help her not to think about the pain in her arm. “So, Mat, was it? What year are you? I don’t think I have seen you in any of my classes.”

"Names Matty, but you can call me Mat if you like, all my mates do. Im a third year, so you may have seen me once or twice in our conbind classes. " Yea the nurses here are pritty good, i mean i got cut by a creature and they fixed me up!" she said with a sniker. "So, what was your book about, oh and dont stress, its in my pocket." she said seeing to worry look on Kala's face when she mentionsed her book. They had walked about 2 or 3 meters, and were making a good, steady pace.
