The sixth years had little to worry about. Those that made it into his NEWT level class were set to go. The pressure was over, and they had a nice long time to prepare for their NEWTS. They were all set.
There sat on each table a flower box, inside that a vine like plant climbing up wooden stakes. The topic of the day that he doubted alot of them would know the proper name, and while he wasn't expecting an observer this lesson, he figured he'd best try and make his lessons somewhat catchy in case someone did show.
One would find Professor Shaw adding the finishing trimmings to his own flowerbox, as like all magical plants most had some sort of mentality of their own. The door sat wide open awaiting the mid-afternoon class.

Herbology, yes, eww. It was her worst subject and she had quite a stuggle with it the previous year. It was her closest to failing class and she dreaded over it for probably a month after receiving her scores. She knew Herbology and expected to get atleast an E. But that only gave her a reason to do better this year, which she intends on doing.
Entering the Herbology Greenhouse, seeing only the professor. The only class, probably other than Astronomy, where she didn't want to be the first to class. She always felt so awkward alone with the Professor, around a bunch of plants.

Finally it was time for Herbology, Mike hated being cramped up in the dark potions classroom that he was quite happy that he would now be outside, all be it in a Greenhouse, but outside none the less.
As he made his way into the room where class was being taken today, he smiled and nodded in Evangeline's direction, before walking towards the Professor.
"Nice job you're doing there Professor"
He said watching the Professor's handy work, flashing the man a smile before turning and taking a seat beside Evangeline.
"Don't worry, Professor Shaw is amazing, you'll be alright"

Dean walked into the classroom right as the other guy ( mike ) was talking to Professor Shaw. He shook his head slightly in an annoyed way and moved around him. Dean glanced up at the flower boxes as he took a seat behind the guy, Mike, was it? and Eva. He was glad to finally be in Herbology. He had waited most of the day for this because it was something he enjoyed doing. He was also good at it, too.

((Eek, did his first post say we were inside. I didn't see.))
Seeing mostly the same people she had for most of her classes so far, Evangeline only smiled. The two boys' company seemed to become the first thing she received, other than the professors, while in classes. But she didn't mind, for niether of them bothered her much. Looking at Michael, who took a seat beside her, she nodded. She knew what the professor was like, well, sort of. This being not the class she was most interested in, she didn't really judge the professor as much.
"Yeah," she said simply, not wanting to start commotion.

Arianna paused behind the other students, her nose scrunched up slightly. Good job? Good job on WHAT? She questioned herself, peering around the others. The girl saw nothing special and therefore concluded that Mike was mearly practicing his suck up techniques. Now, if Shaw had trimmed the flower into a neat little dragon or something, then she could see reason to be impressed.

"Mr. Rolen if your attempting to get yourselfbonus points by buttering up again this year I can assure you, again, it won't happen. Ever." Robert's voice replied in all seriousness without turning around only continueing his work. After a whole year of most of this lot last year he knew most of their voices to a good degree by heart.
In another moment he would start the lesson. He'd distinctly heard two voices but at least four different entrances. That was still far under par than the usual, then again, he could quite remember how many had been cut from his roster due to poor O.W.L. scores either. That wasn't exactly top knowledge on his brain.

"But, sir," Arianna piped up, saddling past the others so she could get a better view of the teacher and his flower box, "you trimmed that leaf just right. It makes my heart swoon to see such well-trimmed plants."
Offering the professor a broad grin, she took a seat before scanning the rest of the class. There were days when she wondered if Mike ever wanted to say such things to get himself a better score on his quizzes.

Mike smirked as the professor addressed him directly, and it didn't really phase the boy that the professor had taken a swipe at him.
"Stuck up fool"
Mike muttered under his breath, low enough that the professor wouldn't hear it, to add insult to injury he caught Ari's remark also, which was met with a roll of his eyes before turning back to his books
"We gonna start this class or what?"
He snapped

Dean smirked slightly as the Professor basically told Mike to shove off. Hey, it was the man's right. Besides, what was he trying to do, get a higher grade? Dean heard Ari's comment, stood up and said, " Just beautiful. " With a nod as if to make it true. As he said it he grinned. He looked back at Rolen to see him roll his eyes. This only made him laugh. " Come, now, Mike. Patience is a virtue. " He said. Dean looked back over to Ari and nodded with a smile.

Vanessa was still in a huff by the time she got to Herbology. She didn't dance around in circles at the idea of having to trek outside, but she made the journey and found herself standing outside the Greenhouses. Now the question was, which one did she go in.
Nessa poked her head in the first one she saw and found students her own age, so she figured it was the right one. She saw the professor at the front of the room and she smiled to him. However, it was quite forced and looked rather fake. She turned to find a seat when her eyes landed on Dean. Again. There was no sign of that other Slytherin anywhere, which Nessa was quite happy about. Nessa looked at him as she walked past and smiled weakly. She took a seat one behind him and one over to the side.
Nessa rested her elbow of the desk and her head on her hand. She took out some parchment and a quill and began to doodle, waiting for the class to start.

Krissy grinned. She had heard the last parts of the conversation and grinned. Seeing Mike in a bad mood was slightly fun in a way. Even though she knew it was mean to think so. She troupsed into the classroom and noticed Ari, and made her way over to sit next to her. She was prettyy bad at Herbology and it was amazing to see that she had gotten a passing grade, only just though, but a passing grade it was. So, she knew Ari could to Herbology better , so she sat next to her. Maybe Ari cold help her out. She grinned. "Mornin' gal" she said to her friend.

Robert couldn't help but internally chuckle as the Ravenclaw girl took her cue to make a decent humorous moment. That was much more welcome than an attempt at favorite playing, even though it did require something stupid and bothersome to make the moment. However the Hufflepuff's following comment did not please him in the slightest.
"What was that Mr. Rolen, I didn't quite hear?" Robert replied as he turned around, eyebrow raised at the Hufflepuff boy. If he lacked the courage to make a comment while the man was facing him, there was no point in making the comment at all. In all actuality he had in fact heard it, but the boy's reaction would decide his consequence.
They would of course start, momentarily.

Mike smirked as the Professor turned and once again addressed him, for some reason Mike felt as though the man was testing him.
Lets find out then
The smirk stayed on his face, as he began to talk
"Well if you truely want to know....I called you a stuck up fool, why I called you that was because I made a comment on your handy work and you thought straight away that I was sucking up to you for better grades, and personally I think that if I already happen to be in your NEWT class, that I have proven myself to have an apititude for this class higher than most"
He said to the Professor not taking his eyes off the man, watching his body language, just to make sure.
"So pray tell me why I would need to suck up to you to pass this class?"

Dragos had no idea how far the greenhouses were, and he wasn't prepared to walk, no matter the distance. Why walked when you can board? So that's just what Dragos did. He grabbed his board and hitched his Muggle backpack up onto his back and headed out of the castle.
Dragos rolled down the path, looking around for the greenhouses. He leaned back on the board so that he was balancing on the back wheels only. He stuck his arms out to keep his balance as he glided along. "WOOOOO!" he yelled and he finally straightened himself out and was on all 4 wheels now. Finally, Dragos spotted the greenhouses across the way, and saw it wasn't that far. He picked up speed on his board and skated down to the doors. When he reached the right one. Dragos slowed down and picked up his board. Opening the door, he entered the room and glanced around. There weren't many people yet, so he figured he wasn't late.
Crossing the room, Dragos saw Nessa sitting all by herself and he smiled. She didn't seem to be in a very good mood, so he went and sat beside her. "Hey," he said, dropping his bang and board on the ground under the desk, "What's wrong with you?"
