Pat had been tempted to watch Matty's attempt on the hoops at rhe raven end of the pitch, but he knew that he had to spend his time searching for the Snitch. In any case, he could hear Beni's commentary, and he knew that Kellen had managed to stop the Quaffle. It was only a 10-point game at the moment though, so Pat felt it'd be easy enough to for their Chasers to bite back.
However, Pat suddenly heard another distinct sound, besides Beni's commentary: the whstling of a Bludger. He attempted to swerve, to get out of the way, but it was too late to avoid getting hit; at least it only caught his shoulder instead of unseating him. Even then, pain shot through his arm; not enough to warrent stopping, but it still hurt.
Pat turned his head around, trying to spot would had hit him, when something else caught his attention: the Snitch, not too far away for him. He also saw that Ari was almost as close to it as he was, and she was coming on fast. Pat bit his lip as he sped his broom toward the Snitch, his hand outstretched; it'd be a close one to see who caught it, but he wasn't going to just give it up without a fight.

Arianna glanced away from the snitch just long enough to see that Pat had seen it, too. Of course she wasn't going to let him have it. Not if she could help it. Arianna had yet to lose a game for her team and she certainly wasn't going to do so today.
Leaning forward as flat as she could on her broom, Arianna urged it faster, reaching her hand out as she approached the little golden ball.

Ari was getting closer to the Snitch, and she had momentum, but Pat wasn't going to just roll over and give up; no way he'd do that. As both of them neared the Snitch, Pat was ecstatic; he was going to reach it first, even if only by a hair. His hand outstretched, he made his grab for the Snitch.
However, fate didn't want the Snitch caught yet. Pain surged through Pat's arm from his shoulder, and he lost his focus for a split-second; long enough for the Snitch to slip through his fingers and zip away from both him and Ari, towards some of the other players. Pat cursed and sped again after the Snitch, determined to not let his arm get in the way next time.

Advantage of sitting on the bench was that you could see a lot more. Kyle didn't know if any players realized the seekers had found the Snitch, but he sure did. The two streak of blur were almost zig-zaging with each other. It looked really impressive.
"Go go GO!" he was jumping and cheering as loud as he could. Quidditch was cool.

Krissy's eyes had fell onto Pat and Ari racing at the snitch. She had seen the bludger hit Pat and she grimaced. How could she have let it hit him. She should have stopped it. She kicked herself inside for having not stopped that bludger. She kicked herself more so though as Pat missed it because of aparent pain in his shoulder or arm. She was very unimpressed with herself at that moment.
But she still chased the bludger she had been following and shot it, as well as she could, towards the direction in which the snitch had gone, hopefully it would slow Ari down some and give Pat another chance. "Go Pat you can do it!" she screamed hoping he would catch it.

Sarsha squealed when the big black bowling ball type flying ball smashed into the shoudler of one of the players. She knew he was a hufflepuff from the fact that he was wearing yellow robes, and she then recognised him as the hufflepuff prefect. Oh why did people play such a brutal game. It seemed, scary, that people would risk their lives for the game. She also couldn't see what that boy and the girl, Arianna were chasing after, but she guessed it must have been another part of the game. Her small hands were held accross her face, a look of worry plastered on it. She wondered how or when the game would end, but hoped very strongly that it would be soon.

She had been so close. The snitch had only been inches away and she was certain it would have been her catch. If only the dang thing hadn't darted out of the way.
Without a second thought, Arianna altered her course and barraled after the snitch, dodging around players and barely missing being hit by Krissy's bludger. It had come so close, she felt it brush across her arm, but it hadn't hit. She could still grab that snitch before Pat.

Jack who was still giving Allegra back up support if she needed someone to pass to heard several of the players shouting about something and turned slightly on his broom to look. He saw that both of the seeker were neck and neck chasing the snitch, or so he assumed it was the snitch since he couldn't really see it. He watched for a minute as Arianna almost had it but then had to change course and was still pursuing it, before he turned his attention back to what he was doing, which was flying close enough to Allegra to be ready for a pass.

(what's the current score? LMAO I don't know! All I know in the post is that Hufflepuff is losing... so I guess I'll just RP as if Hufflepuff is losing...)
Ivy looked absolutely distraught, she hated how the game was going. Her hands were itching for her wand to hex a Ravenclaw player, but that was cheating. "Urghhh," she groaned and pulled her hair in frustration. Damn Ravenclaws... she thought furiously.
She clapped her hands at Vanessa's try at the goal. "Nice try, Harrison! Nice try!" she called out from the stands. C'mon Krissy! she pleaded in her head.

Mike groaned as he saw Allegra shoot past him with the quaffle, he pulled up hard on his broom and was flying upside down for most of the streak down the pitch till he caught up to Allegra, and thats when he saw his chance to steal the Quaffle, he righted himself and dove down underneath her, and came back up his clenched fist making contact with the quaffle.

Allegra saw Mike underneath her and gave a sharp kick, using the force of her feet off of Mike to push herself farther from the Huffle boy. Even if he had wanted to get the quaffle from her, he wouldn't have been able to without commiting a foul or injuring one of them. She was an excellent player and not about to hold the ball in a way to let it be stolen easily.
With the extra momentum she edged close enough to the golden posts to try for the goal. She flung the ball at the center post when she felt the opportunity was right and waited to see if it went in.

"Come on!" Vanessa yelled at her team. It was rather harsh bark, but she was caught up in the moment, and infuriated. True, it had only been one goal, but still, she should've had it. Oh well, it was too late now, but now Ravenclaw was getting another chance, and there was no way Nessa was letting this one in.
Darting across the front of the goals, Nessa nearly missed the ball completely. A bludger that had come from no where dove right at her and she swerved to miss it. It skimmed her knee, and only hurt for a second, but now she had lost sight of the Quaffle. She swore again, and tried to swing back around. A flash of scarlet flew past her, and she swung out blindly. Vanessa felt her arm make contact with the Quaffle, and sent it out of danger, but there was another sound. A horrible sound. A crack.
Nessa wrist banged off the inside of the hoop in her attempt to save the Quaffle. A searing pain shot through it and Nessa nearly fell off her broom. She gripped it tightly and stayed on, gasping in pain and tears running down her cheeks. She wasn't really crying, but they had started to water. Vanessa Harrison never cried. At least, not on her own free will.

Mike swooped on the quaffle gathering it up in his arms and streaking down the pitch on the counter attack, he couldn't see any of his team's chasers with him so he was going solo, he started to weave left and right so that Ravenclaws beaters would have a hard time hitting him.
He hadn't even seen Nessa get hit, but thats the way his game was played, only thinking of his and his chaser's games, he forgot the rest.
As he entered the scoring circle, he pulled a quick barrel roll, the quaffle deliberatly coming loose and Mike flicked out and struck the quaffle with his foot, sending it streaking towards the left hoop, or so it looked, he had kicked the quaffle in such a way that it would curve dramatically towards the right hoop.

Nessa gasped again, clutching her wrist and trying to stay on her broom. She wiped away the tears quickly, and clenched her teeth to stop them from watering. She was panting heavily as she watched Michael come and take the Quaffle, and not even ask if she was OK. "I'M FINE MICHAEL! THANKS FOR ASKING!" she hollered after him, her voice dripping with sarcasm, "Jerk!" She yelled the last a little quieter, but she knew someone would hear. She didn't really care at this point. She was only speaking the truth.
Vanessa blinked furiously, trying to clear her eyes without letting go of her broom. She tried to hold it with her hurt hand, but another searing pain shot through it, and she groaned rather loudly. This was not good...

Allegra had been right by the goal, watching the progress fo her shot, and of course had seen the whole thing happen.
"TIME OUT!" she called out before Mike had gotten very far with the quaffle. Allegra wasn't sure if Krissy had seen the injury, but the game needed to stop so the Huffles could take care of their keeper.
