The weather was fairly decent for the first game of the season. The air was a bit chill and clouds hanging low over the horizon threatened to drop a bit of rain, but they were still a ways off. Nothing for the players to worry about. Unless the game lasted too long.
Carrying his broom over one shoulder and hefting the ball box in the other, the Quidditch ref made his way to the center of the field. He set the box down, glanced at his watch, and waited.

"Mornin' Sir" Krissy called out accross the pitch to the man. She was up bright and early for the game. She had been checking out the wether as they came down and was glad to see it to be a fairly decent day. It didn't threaten to freeze them half to death, which meant her players were better off. she had been looking foreward to this game for a while. First game of the season, clash of the titons. Hufflepuff Vs Ravenclaw. Now this would be interesting...
Krissy turned and headed into the hufflepuff changing rooms. She threw her backpack down on one of the benches and looked around. She was the first one there. But that was good, considering she was the captain.
(Yesm game is for players and people watching the games, post your in the stands, or if you wish you can turn up as an alternate for the huffle team and when the game starts make your way to the stands or summit)

Jake stuffed his hands into his pockets as he made his way across the grounds to see his first ever live Quidditch game. He had contemplated on even attending but figured he might as well show some house spirit. He saw one person on the field, did they call it a field?, and figured him to be the referee. He also saw a few people around, but didn't recognize any of them. He walked around to the Hufflepuff seating area of the staium and began to climb the stairs. When he reached the actual seats he sat down in the front row, waiting for the game to begin or for someone to come along that he could talk to.

Allegra stormed into the Ravenclaw locker room, pumped up and ready to go. They had had such good luck in their last game, she had pulled her short brown hair into two bright blue pigtails again and drawn the warpaint across her cheeks. "OKAY YOU GUYS! WE ARE SO READY!" she cheered, jumping on the benches and throwing her hands up in the air. {yes, I just god-moded my team already in the locker room because obviously Hailey wants to get this show on the road If you don't like it, post you came in later. }

Pat walked into the Hufflepuff locker room, already wearing his canary-yellow Quidditch robes, holding his broomstick on his shoulder. Anyone nearby could tell how excited he was about this match. He'd only been in one actual match before, the last match of the previous year, against Slytherin. But even though he'd only been a reserve then, he'd managed to come away with the Snitch and win the match. He was the actual Seeker now, and he hoped he could pull it off again this time around.
Looking around the locker room, he saw the only one there so far was Krissy. Pat smiled at her. She'd put him through quite a bit already this year, but he didn't mind; she was worth it. "Ready for this, Krissy?" he said in greeting, walking next to her, still smiling.

Drew was polishing his broom and giving it a final check to make sure it was in proper working order. He, too had his hair painted a bright blue, but it was mostly to make it blend in with the streak of paint one of the girls had swiped down the back of his head.
"Of course we're ready. They're just Huffles," he answered back with a grin. It was an old joke but not quite as valid as a statement. The Badgers had been awfully close to winning the cup from them the previous year.

Today was the day. And indeed he was ready for this. He knew he wanted Hufflepuff to win because he didn't want Ravenclaw to win the Quidditch cup. He wondered where Anna was and she'd better hurry up getting here or she'll miss it too. He walked into the stands. He saw some people already here. He decided to take a seat. He had a yellow painting on his forehead that said Hufflepuff. Even though he was with Gryffindor, he still wanted Hufflepuff to win.

Krissy smiled to Pat as he walked in. She was half way through getting changed from her normal robes to her canary yellow ones. She had brought a brand new pair after the last game because they had some pretty nice mud stains on them from having to play in the rain and mud. But that did make the games fun.
She turned and gave Pat a small hug and the pulled away turning to find her broom stick. "The question is," she said with a small grin. "Are you, ready for this?" She had specifically choose him as seeker as he played really well in teir match last year against Slytherin and she wanted a reliable person to play seeker for the team. She hoped the rest of her team got there soon. She knew the match was due to start soon.

Pat returned Krissy's hug, still smiling. "'Course, I'm ready. Always am," he said after she pulled away. He sat on a nearby bench, facing Krissy, putting his broom down next to him. He was definitely ready for this match. He knew it would be difficult - Ravenclaw had won last year and was considered the team to beat - but Pat was confident that Hufflepuff would win this year. In any case, he was determined to do what he could and catch the Snitch. That'd be hard as far as he could tell: Ari was the opposing Seeker, and he'd heard she was good. He sat in thought, waiting for Krissy to speak, or for someone else to enter the locker room.

Talia walked into the locker room, already in her uniform, and ready to go. She was psyched to be there, and was glas she made the team at all. At least she'd be able to put all that practice over the summer with her older brothers to good use. They had pushed her good and hard, and she was ready for just about anyone.
She had her broom in one hand, and in the other, her Beaters-bat, which was slung over her shoulder. She smiled at her team mates, and sat down aswell, at the end of the bench. She wasn't sure on what to say, so decided on, "We better beat those guys..."

Matty walked onto the field and smiled, one day soon she would be playing a game out here. She saw that there wasnt many people around, that was good because she would have no troubble getting a good seat. She joged along to stadium untill she arrived at the hufflepuff seating. Matty walked up the stairs to see a lone hufflepuff sitting in the first row. She edged her way along the seats and sat down next to him. "Hi, im Matty, i dont think we've met 'cause im only a third year but anyway, nice to meet you!" she said in a joyfull voice and gave the hufflepuff stranger a big smile. Matty agjusted her scarf and took out a flag wich had the hufflepuff emblem on it and laid it down on her lap. The she turned back to the boy waiting for his reply.

Being terrible-- no-- absolutely, positively dreadful at Quidditch (although she would tell you that the League made her retire because any team that had her had an unfair advantage) Ivy made her way to the stands to cheer on her fellow 'Puffs. Donned in yellow and black, Ivy looked spectacular, as always. Her face was painted in colors of the great house, and she looked ready for anything. In fact, she was looking for a healthy cat-fight against a Ravenclaw fan. She grinned at Matty, nodded as a greeting and sat down next to her.
Although she greatly preferred football to Quidditch, she loved to see her friends play. She clapped happily. "Finally! A Quidditch game!"
Well, a reason why she was so happy that a Quidditch game finally arrived was to see... her admired librarian/Quidditch ref/DADA professor. Her eyes scanned the pitch, and when she finally saw her target, she sighed in admiration.

Shivering slightly, Alexis entered the Hufflepuff locker already changed into her canery, yellow quidditch robes and broomstick over her shoulder. "Hey everyone!" she greeted. She was still shivering a bit, but maybe it was from her excitment. It was the first game of the season against Ravenclaw and they were going to win! Since she played chaser, Alexis hoped that she wouldn't screw up or anything like that but his was going to be the huffles year.

"Nothing to be worried about," Lily agreed to Drew. "Not that we're like cocky or anything, everyone just knows we're the best quidditch team. Just in case though, I need to be on the very tip top of my game. At least we can count on Hufflepuff to play clean." She too had doned the war paint and blue hair. She checked over her broom carefully, making sure it was all ready to go. One could never be too careful.

Jack was putting on his Quidditch robes and getting ready to play. It was his first official game and he was a bit nervous about it, but was hiding it well. So far he hadn't thrown up or fainted and wasn't planning to. He felt that the team had a good chance of winning, because they had been practicing really hard for weeks.
He just nodded as Allegra cheered that they were ready, indicating that he was ready too. It was true he was ready for this game to get underway and knew that the sooner it did the better he would feel because he wouldn't have to stress about it anymore. That once the game started all nervousness would leave him and it would be just like any other practice or just-for-fun game that he had participated in.
