“How was I suppose to know that it was capable of moving through walls?” Ty asked with a shrug. After all even though they were magical they couldn’t just walk through walls at will. The only things he knew could to that were ghosts, not solid things like ducks. “After all only ghosts can do that, but if he keeps it up we could make him one of those quite rapidly.” Yes Ty was starting to get a bit impatient about the duck and his gaming ways. He was still up for helping and smirked a bit when she used Accio, but by the time the twenty minutes had gone by he was back to being fed up with the little down pillow.
She had to be kidding. The duck was in the walls? How on earth could he get in there? Stupid duck. “Well I say we just leave him there and eventually he’ll get sick of his little hide and seek game and show himself. If not I really don’t see it as that big of a loss. Sure the duck could have made a good Christmas dinner, but there are always other ways of getting another one.” Ty said with a shrug.

Seanna threw Ty a confused look. "I never said he was moving through the walls, I said he was moving in the walls. As in, inside the walls" Now that she had thought about it, it would be the best way to hide from someone. There were hidden passageways, hidden parts of the wall that just came apart, that anyone could slip easily through to the inside walls of Hogwarts. It was a perfect plan, even more perfect for Percy-- being small he could easily slip through any hidden cracks or any openings in the wall.
"I never said that you had to know, that's why I told you. I didn't know he was moving inside them, until now when he told me" Again, Seanna threw another confused look at Ty. Was he not a student at Hogwarts? "But these walls are Hogwarts walls, they're different to any other, ordinary wall, not all of them are entirely solid" Seanna went over to the furtherest wall and ran a hand over it, trying to trigger a hidden latch, or poke a hidden push button. "All we have to do is find something to let us into the walls, then we can find Percy... I hope" Seanna finished, unsure if they would actually find her duck or not. Percy was turning out to be the master sleuth as well as the magical duck.
"Getting closer, you're not as silly as I thought you were" Percy called out to Seanna through the walls, sounding defiantly closer than he was before. Getting down on her knees, Seanna ran her hand on the bottom of the wall, "There's something... " Seanna told Ty, crawling over to the small little latch she saw at the bottom. "But I don't know if it'll be big enough for the three of us to fit through"

“Oh,” Ty said realizing what Seanna had meant. He thought she had meant the duck was walking through them. Of course he should have realized it was the other kind of in the walls she was talking about. Silly Ty. “Alright then lets get looking,” Ty said with a smile as he followed Seanna’s lead trying to feel for a entrance to the walls. No such luck, he couldn’t feel anything but the wall, or what he thought was a solid wall.
Hearing Seanna saying she found something Ty walked over to where she was. “Well then maybe you should go in and try to pull the stubborn duck out yourself. I would do it, but he likes you best probably so I think you should probably go first. If theres room we will follow.” Ty added looking over in Jack’s direction.

As if the conversation couldn’t get any more confusing Ty and Seanna started talking about how the duck is probably in the walls and that not all the walls of Hogwarts were completely solid. Well that was news to him, though, probable. Jack had thought that most of the walls were made of stone and completely solid, but it made sense that there could be parts of them that weren’t. After all their were hidden entrances and invisible doors in walls that only showed themselves when you walked by them a certain amount of times or touched a correct spot on it, so it was all together probable that there was hallow walls. Coming back around to the situation at hand he started to search the walls also, not really knowing what they were looking for. He was relieved to hear that Seanna thought that she had found something, he wasn’t going to, and that someone could fit into it. He had to agree with Ty, Seanna should go in after the duck. “Ty’s got a point, unless the duck is more calm than he sounds I think the best person to go in for it it you.” he said in the direction of Seanna.

"Me? go in there?" Seanna looked at the both of them, wondering if she should tell them both her fear. Yeah, she could always say that she had gotten over it, but still, the fear was there and it was one she couldn't really control. Ty, he was somewhat of a friend, but Jack, she didn't know Jack at all. So the question in Seanna's mind was, could she really trust Jack?
"But I can't go in there... it's dark" Seanna said simply and plainly to the two boys, standing up and focusing her brown eyes on both the boys eyes when she looked at them. The prefect was risking it telling the boys her fear of the dark, but she hadn't really told them her fear, just mentioned it was dark in there.
"See? I know your fears, that's why it's easy for me to hide here... I know you won't come in here for it's dark" Came Percy's voice from inside the walls. "I just have to find the other latch first, that's all" Seanna said, turning her back and feeling around for the top latch of the door. If she had to go in there by herself, she would go, but she wasn't going to be happy about it.

Ty just stood there stunned. She didn't want to go in there because it was dark? He wasn't quite sure what he could do for her, she could use her wand and light up her path if she wanted to, but short of that there really wasn't much that could be done. After all it wasn't like you could take portable fire into a wall, something would catch fire. He guessed he could go in there if she really was scared of it. "Well you can use lumos to lighten up the path," Ty said just suggesting it. "Or if you really want I could go in there and see if I can find him, it's up to you." He didn't want her to go in if she really didn't want to.
"Okay," Ty said when he heard the bit about the latch, "But my offer still stands. I will go if you want. I am small enough to fit in there." Yes he just said it, he was small, and for once it looked like it might be a help more than a hinderance.

Seanna didn’t have to come right out and say it. Jack had gotten that she was afraid of the dark and from the looks of it so had Ty. It didn’t matter, though, because everyone has something that they are afraid of and if it happens to be the dark for her then he wasn’t about to tease her about it. He was a little surprised that Ty had elected not to either and was actually offering to go into the wall. That wasn’t normally like him, was it? Every time Jack had been around him he seemed not to miss an opportunity to make a remark. It was like he couldn’t help it, but obviously he could since he was doing it now.
“Lumos is good, but Ty I think you’d fit in there better anyways. It is kind of small and well you’re the smallest of the group so why don’t you give it a go. If you can’t get the duck then maybe will have to think of something else.” Jack said with a smile. Ty was a shrimp, so Jack was pretty confident that he wouldn’t get stuck. “Seanna and I can look for another latch while your in there. That way if we can find one you won’t have to back out.” he added after hearing Seanna say she was going to look for another latch.
