Kylie listened to what Jynx had to say about prefects being able to take away points and thought of a good point that he missed. "Well I think that those are good reasons but another part of this argument might be that prefects would also be allowed to award points and that might bring out better qualities in people, especially if they knew they had a chance of getting points." Kylie said just as a suggestion. She was familiar with the argument against this but it wasn't her job to argue that side so she just flipped it around and gave the version appropriate to there side of the argument.

Jack waited until it seemed that everyone had made their way over to the group. He wasn't playing the role of an attorney but that wasn't going to stop him from giving his two cents on the matter. "That sounds like a great place to start.” Jack said to Matty. He had a pretty good idea what they could argue after all it wasn’t that hard to see what might be the problems with allowing the prefects too much power in awarding points or handing out punishments. “Part of the argument should be that being able to hand out detentions and dock points from other houses could lead a bias and unfair punishment.” Jack chimed in. He had some other ideas that they could argue but didn’t want to be the sole person coming up with their sides argument. He wanted it to be a team effort and knew that the others had to have some kind of a thought on the issue.

Norbrook could tell that they were making progress on there arguments. Well at least some of them seemed to be involved and enjoying the opportunity to do something a little different then just hearing lecture and taking notes.
Hearing the bell ring James said, "Ok it seems as if you all have gotten your arguments down well enough. So next time we will spend our time presenting them in the correct Muggle setup. Homework for this class will consist of knowing the setup of the court room and also the way it is ran by the time I see you next so that we can have a smooth running case next time. If you already know how it is done then there is no homework for the class. Just a hint for those of you that don't know, most if not all of the answers will be on the handout I have given you. You may need to look up a few things but it shouldn't be too hard." Norbrook said smiling at his class and then adding, "See you all next time."
