Today wasn't the day to go outside. Torrential downpour ruined all plans that most students had for the day. But not Autumn, she had other plans. She remembered what her older sister Maureen told her about the seventh floor and a special place you could go to do almost whatever you want. As she left her common room she recited the steps to get inside this fantastic room. The Room of Requirement. As she walked down the stairs from her common room door she couldn't keep herself from not smiling. Her trusty roller skates stashed in her backpack she slipped down to the corridor, unseen by anyone. As she approached the place where her sister told her to go she thought hard in my mind I need a place to go and skate and walked by the door three times. When she opened her eyes she saw a big wooden door, just waiting to be opened. With a quiet huzzah she reached for the handle and walked in.
When she opened the door she gasped at what was inside. A full sized skating rick with padded walks just incase. She dashed in, closing the door behind her. This was too cool. She couldn't believe this was happening. She took her backpack off and walked over to a bench that was conveniently placed outside of the rink as to not get in anyones way whilst they skate. She opened her bag and pulled out her well worn in pair of skates. She pulled off her shoes and placed them neatly next to her bag. She slid her feet into her skates, trying them tight enough as to almost cut her circulation off. She stood up, unmoving. Then with a huge grin she pushed off and with great strides of her legs she was zooming around the rink, feeling freer then she had felt in a long time.
For a while she was just doing laps, getting used to the feeling again. She started going backwards and doing tricks to see how well she could still do it. After a while she really wished she brought someone with her. Just as the thought left her mind the door started to open, as if Autumn's thought were answered.

Rain. One simple word, and lately, it seemed to be ruining Tianne's life. She hadn't even been outside in what seemed like forever, and couldn't even be bothered to leave the common room. To those that knew Tianne well, they'd know that it was very unlike her to stay in one place for a while, but Tianne hadn't been feeling like herself anyhow. Sickness had plauged her; all the cold nights, and the colder mornings had really taken their toll on the fifth year.
But now, Tianne believed that she was over her chest infection, and just wanted to get out of the common room, away from the entire house of Ravenclaw. Not the people, the brunette could spend forever with them, but just the house itself. It was just so boring. Unfortunately, although Tianne's sickness had cleared up, the clouds had remained, confining Tianne to the castle. Deciding to finally leave, the young girl thought that she'd check out what was happening on the Seventh Floor, as if there was no activity, then she'd have an awesome view anyways.
Wearing a pair of grey skinny jeans and a fluorescent pink jacket, Tianne wandered upstairs, reluctantly pushing her blue converses up the stairs. Sometimes, she wished there was elevators. When Tianne finally reached the seventh floor, she saw a girl, in her year ahead of her. Following the girl, for no apparent reason, Tianne found herself lead to the room of requirement. "Ah, my old friend." She said sarcastically, before walking in after the girl, and seeing a skating rink. "This is getting better." She laughed, smiling at the girl, who was already skating.

Autumn smiled back at the girl. She'd seen the girl before as she was in her year and also in her house. With a wave and another push from her legs she skates over to her, stopping a few feet in front of her. "Hey! Glad someone else could join me in here! I'm Autumn." She looked at the girls clothes. They were pretty much the same thing she was wearing. Another follower of the straight leg pants. Nice! She though. Not many people knew how awesome straight leg pants were.
"The weather is horrible today. My sisters told me about this room and how....awesome it could be. Never really believed them. Until now." She grinned again, happy to see someone else. "Ever roller skated before? It's bloody fun."

Tianne hadn't ever met the girl before. Like many of her fellow students, she knew things about her, but she was confused about the girls name. Besides the fact that she knew that the girl was in her house and in her year and that was about it. Tianne was happy that this year she was meeting a lot of new people, and new friends had been made. It was awesome for the girl; it wasn't Tianne's fault that her confidence and maturity had kicked in a little bit late. Still grinning, Tianne nooded when Autumn made her comment. "Yeah, I was bored." Tianne smiled. "Oh, um, Tianne."
"Yeah, its terrible. It isn't panning out to be a very nice fall, is it? But nevertheless, I can't wait until we get our sunlight back. Oh yeah, this place is great. So many memories, I've had a party here, I've swam, and hopefully know I'll learn how to rollerskate. And oh, I've never skated before. It looks exciting, but!"

Autumn grinned at this girls enthusiasm. Finally, She thought, Another girl who likes to try new things and isn't scared! Autumn skated over to the nearest bench and sat down, giving her feet a rest. She stretched her legs out, rubbing her lower calves. They usually were the part of her body that hurt the most. With a light hiss she found the painful spot and rubbed it, instantly making it feel better.
"Roller skating is so much fun. Whenever I would visit my sister Greer she would take me out to the derby rink and we'd skate for hours. Or until they kicked us out. Which was the usual outcome," Autumn said, nodding. "So Tianne, want to try skating?" Autumn gave her best Devil-May-Care grin and held her hand out to the Ravengirl.

Pulse was just wandering around the castle, looking for something, anything that might distraction from the pressing boredom. She absolutely loved the rain, she liked the way it smelled and felt and everything about it but she did not feel like going outside and getting drenched on this particular day. So she had stayed inside, which was very dull. Her feet had eventually taken her up to the seventh floor, she had been checking most the doors along the way, hoping for something to occupy her.
This was how she found the roller skating rink. This did not seem very magical and was defiantly out of place but it was something interesting so she stepped inside. There were two other girls inside so she said brightly, "Hello!" When she inspected the room again she saw a pair of skates sitting on the floor by the door. She picked them up and held them to her foot, just her size. She smiled at the other girls. This should be fun.

Still grinning, Tianne nodded eagerly to the girl. She wanted to try skating, she had never done anything like it before. Sure, she had skateboarded, but she figured that they were two different things. After all, one involved one thing, the other involved two. But it couldn't be that hard to manage, Tianne usually picked hings up pretty quickly, especially when it came to sports and activites. AFter spending her week cooped up, this was something that she really needed to do, it wasn't a want anymore. She had to fulfill her needs.
Smiling, Tianne strapped her feet into a pair of skates. She felt that they looked cool, and thought that it seemed easy enough, that was, until she tried to walk. Immediately, her feet slid out from under her, and she landed falt on her butt, just as another girl entered. "Aww.." Tianne groaned, before cracking up into laughter. God, she looked like such an idiot, but she had to be able to laugh it off. "Hey." She said, in between bouts of laughter. that was going to hurt tomorrow, Tianne knew that for a fact.

Jason Walked up the stairs. By the look on his face you could tell something was on his mind. He kept walking until he saw a painting. He stop for a moment and looked at it. Jason didn't have his Ravenclaw robes on, they were something he only wore for his classes. He had on his Brown jeans, green shirt and his black coat with the Ravenclaw emblem on the right chest. The Painting was of children playing on the Hogwarts grounds. he sat and watched has the kids threw the ball around in the moving painting and then he moved on. He arrived onto the 7th floor and saw that the door for the Room of Requirement was visible. thats exactly what i need he thought as he walked in.
Some one had already beaten him to the punch thou. He walked in and saw two girls skating on a skating rink. Jason paused for a moment, blinked once or twice and waled to the rink and i though Drew's pool party were interesting he thought has he realized the the two girls were in the same house as him.
"Do I even want to know which one of you thought this thing up" he said with a slight grin, aloud so they could hear him

Pulse had sat down and put on her rollerblades. They fit magnificently and for a moment she wondered if she would be allowed to keep them without it being steeling. She thought this because they were the comfiest pair of skates she had ever worn. She had always had to do with her brothers hand-me-downs which were always to large and had to have the toes stuffed full of cotton or to small.
She stood up just as another boy entered and went over to offer a hand to help up the girl who had fallen. She did think the boy was talking to her, or had even recognized that she was in the room, so she did not respond but instead smiled at him briefly before helping the older and bigger girl to her feet ((if Tianne accepts Pulse’s help, if not please disregard that part)).
She then moved out into the rink and, like the other girl had done, did a few practice laps.

Still smiling, despite sitting on the floor now, Tianne gave a light giggle. This was fun, even if she had fallen over after like... three steps. Pain is gain, as she thought of it in sports, not that she'd consider this to be that much of a sport. Rollerskating was meant to be a game, not a competitive thing. Grinning at the smaller girl, Tianne grabbed the girl's hand and pulled herself up. She was a bit wobbly on her feet, but the brunette knew that she'd manage. Still smiling, a goofy, sarcastic sort of smile, Tianne nodded at the first year. "Thanks." She said, dusting herself off.
Turning to the boy that had just entered, Tianne crossed her arms. "Oh, I so don't think that you'd want to know. I mean, who would want to know which of us is truly crazy enough for this to happen?" She said with a slight smirk, before wobbling her way over to the side. Pushing herself on the wall made it easier for the girl, but she definitely needed help with this activity. Serious, serious help.
