Delilah smiled. She didn't want to kill Sophia's dream or anything here, but either you had it, or you didn't, and Delilah sincerely hoped that Sophia would be a natural at the game. "My entire family comes from Wizard decent, if there's anything I'm clueless about, it's the muggle world." She said, knowing that most people had some kind of muggle in them now adays. Purebloods were very hard to come by, but she didn't mind, having muggle in you didn't make you any more, or any less than any one else. It was just blood.
Delilah laughed lightly, "To be honest, I don't really know, my father had always told me that it's the player that makes the broom, so we could probably borrow some from a broom cupboard in the castle somewhere..." She said, trying to think of where they could find an extra broom. Delilah had her own, from her father of course, but she didn't want to share, it had a lot of sentimental value to her, and if anyone was going to break it, it would be her. "And yes, we should do that soon! We could even get a small, just for fun, game going." Delilah offered, knowing she wouldn't be the only Quidditch player wanting to have some fun with the sport.

"We totally should!" Sophia said excitedly. "We could borrow brooms and balls and it would be so much fun! Kind of like a kick-off to summer vacation!" The girl said the last part with a little bit of sadness. All these people she had just met would be gone in a matter of months. Of course her mother would love to have some of them over during the summer, even until September, but Sophia didn't know who would even be that comfortable with her yet. She didn't exactly have a best friend yet, but things were looking up for herself and Delilah.
"We could definitely invite Connor Manning, and probably Anna Becket." She knew that Connor could fly at least, but didn't know if he was on the Slytherin team. Her fellow Gryff Anna Becket was the Team Captain, so she'd obviously be game, right? "I don't know if you know Eaden Valo, but she might know how to fly...and Drew Thornton, maybe?" It surprised her that she even knew the names she rattled off, but Sophia never wasted time in meeting new people.

Delilah grinned so big it looked like it could've broke her face, "Righteous!" She said, just thinking of them and possibly others having a blast on the Quidditch field. Summer... man, the only thing that she was looking forward to during the summer months, was being with her parents. Although her mother was a harsh Slytherin, it was amazing how cute she could be around her father. It's like he set her free in a way, and that made Delilah truely happy. Other than that, she wasn't looking forward to Summer. "I'm actually excited to see my parents... You looking forward to anything?" She asked, forcing a smile.
The Slytherin girl nodded as Sophia went through a mental list of what Delilah hoped were Quidditch players. The only name that ringed a bell for Delilah was Connor, so Delilah smiled, glad she wasn't totally out of the loop. "That sounds like a complete blast, just a non-competitive game among... friends..." She said. She said friends cautiously, wondering if anyone here even considered her a friend. Delilah was always paranoid about not having any friends, but she hoped she'd be proved wrong one day.

"Totally! All of our friends would love to come!" Sophia was so excited that A) She had friends to invite, B) Delilah would be helping her with Quidditch, and C) The two were turning out to be really great friends, maybe even besties. Sophia had a best friend back home, but who says you can't have more than one best friend? Actually, the way things were turning out at home, Ava might not be her best friend...but that was something to worry about later. Right now, right this very second, the idea of the Quidditch game was something that excited her completely and totally, ignoring the past-that-would-be-present. There were more pressing matters at hand.
"So, dear Delilah, what do you want to do now?"

Delilah giggled, dear Delilah, that was new. She liked it though, and she thought it was time to throw away her fear of never making friends, it seemed like she was very capable of doing just that. And though this thought never crossed her mind, these two girls were supposed to hate each other, and they were doing quite the opposite. It would be quite a site to see indeed.
Delilah was still pondering Sophia's question though, she loved meeting people, but once introductions were all said and done, it was hard to know what to do once everything was said and done. "Nothing's really coming to mind... Did you have any ideas?" Delilah asked, not wanting to ignore any ideas Sophia might be having. Delilah still had a huge smile on her face, and was hoping she wasn't blushing, she was just so happy.

Sophia was an extremely indecisive girl, something her mother was always on her case about. It wasn't like she was the only teenager without certain opinions, but it's just that she never wanted to do something another person didn't want to do.
"Well, it really doesn't matter, as long as it's fun. I mean, we can still go outside, or whatever." She didn't want to make a concrete decision just yet. It was whatever Delilah wanted to do most. She didn't want to leave out any fun ideas that Delilah might have. Sophia returned the infectious grin, really happy that she'd finally met someone at Hogwarts to hang out with.

Delilah grinned broadly, "Well then Sophia my dear, it is fun we shall have." She said, laughing lightly at herself. If she was actually a he, that might seem a little suggestive, but obviously that wasn't the case, so she tossed that thought aside. Delilah continued walking towards the outer regions of the castle. "Care to explore the great, Forbidden Forest?" She said forbidden forest with a little bit of sarcastic spookiness. (shall we create a new thread should Sophia agree to the outing? )

"Forbidden, eh? We'll see about that one." Sophia was excited to go somewhere so...so...dangerous. It just seemed like so much fun, and with Delilah, it was going to be a lot more so. Maybe they'd see a really cool unicorn or something. Or maybe...maybe they'd meet a troll. There were so many different things that could happen there; the possibilities were truly endless. Whatever the situation was, though, Sophia was determined to make it through with a little help from her friend.
(Yes...yes we should...let's go to the Forbidden Forest!!)
