At the Headmistress's arrival, Robert seemed to fade away, silently withdrawing. Not of fear of the woman's temper, well, that compounded by the man with the bludgeoning rod, but because he was no longer needed. The 'agent's' question remaining unanswered.
There was only so much that assumptions made out of a person and until he found out more, he would keep those assumptions as close as possible.

Almost immediately after Fiona had started her way down the hall in all of her well known fury did a much slightly and much tiny figure skid around a corner after her, nearly losing her balance in the process, but excellent reflexes saved her from colliding face-first to the floor.
Using a hand for support, the Deputy continued trotting after the Headmistress. It was a rare sight to witness one Tamis Raynor-Gallaudet striding at any more than a dignified brisk walk. How she managed to move at such speed and with such stability on those heeled slippers was a phenomenon all in itself.
"Fiona! You have to ask first!" the petite woman called out after Ticloon. "You can't just tear it off the wall and call it your own."
Obviously, Tamis had been in pursuit for quite some time, her reasonably tanned complexion a crimson red from the effort not only in attempting to keep pace with the longer-legged woman, but trying to catch up her her as well. Blast Fiona. The woman was more trouble than she was worth!
Another school offical yet to reconize the unforseen crowd of people outside the gargoyle it seems.

The yelling match in the corridor was joined by another pair of voices. Elliot had just yelled back at the American woman, apparently Nicolae Torque's pep squad, letting her know in not so gentle terms where she could put the sledge-hammer if she didn't approve. But at the approaching voices he snapped his mouth shut - that is until he identified who they were coming from.
That insufferable Professor Gallaudet, and the Headmistress who he'd met only breifly. If this incident was any indication, things got pretty hectic at Hogwarts.
"Gallaudet," he scowled, "seems I've got one of your prodigy here. Honestly, are you trying to ally the whole wizarding world against me. Is this woman even on staff? Headmistress, if you've send some Yankee police to check on me, I'd really like to get wind of it before she starts going for my jugular - I think that I should be trusted conduct my affairs as I see fit!" He punctuated his complaint by knocking the hammer against the ground.

Akina kept her mouth shut as she stared at the two women coming down the hall. She wasn't sure which was the headmistress, though it must be the taller of the two woment. She looked at Prof. Doggerel and sighed trying to explain briefly before encountering the headmistress of the school.
"Prof. Doggerel I meant no disrespect. I just think that you are quite crazy and unpredictable and I'm not sure if that is a safe enviornment for young Nicolae. Especially coming from his background and history. Also I'm not here to get into your business, but to invite you into mine. So if you would shut up and listen and let me explain maybe you wouldn't jump to conclusions."
Akina was slightly upset. She was trying to stay calm, but as she thought on the man's words she suddenly found she wanted to pop him or twist his ear. "Headmistress Talcoon I must have a brief word with you and Prof. Doggerel concerning a student you have in this castle. It will be brief as I can see your time is not to be wasted. Also you may invite any that you seem fit." Akina eyed Prof. Shaw and the other woman that Doggerel called Gallaudet.

"Oh yes I can, Tamis!" Fiona shouted over her shoulder before jabbing her fist violently into the middle of the portrait again. "This man thinks he can CONTROL me with his high and mighty title. I have some news for him, if it wasn't for you he'd have already been a cooked chicken by now!" she ground out, addressing her Deputy but directing her wrath at the cowering man in the photo. He was slowly edging sideways and that only served to infuriate her more. "Craven prat!" she accused haughtily.
When one of her professors began to speak, that's when Fiona finally snapped to attention and realized that there was a party going on that she wasn't invited to just yet. "Shut up ye bloody rooster! If I wished to check up on you, I would do it myself. That's my job. So stop yer squawking, man." she snapped at him, the protrait of the Minister pushed aside for the time being.
Now who was THIS babbling female baboon that dared suggets that she could bring anyone she deemed fit? It was her bloody school to run and she could do whatever she wanted, whether Scrimpy liked it or not. Fiona stopped in front of the group and glared down-no, UP at the Ministry official. "First off, I'll not discuss any student with some unknown off the street. Tell me who you are and I'd like to see some identification before I boot you off my grounds." she stated matter-of-factly.

Akina was shocked at the rudeness of this woman. Though she did command authority Akina didn't like the way she demanding. Akina civilly reached inside her robes and withdrew a badge with a golden crest of the MINA engraved and ID with her picture and full name. Akina didn't hand it to her, but showed her the badge.
"Like I said If I may have a moment of your time this will be handled quickly. I won't waste your time."

"Yes, for if you roasted him then we would not only be rid of one pebble in the bottom of our shoes, but also one Headmistress," the Deputy pointed out casually, unblemished by Fiona's usual tantrum. It was obviously a conversation they had on more than on occasions.
She had finally caught up to the group and her lips merely pursed at Doggerel's attics, though she was beat to a reply by Fiona, but she had to admit that it was a quite effective one for a moment.
"Forgive me for saying so, Madam. You are as far as out of jurisdiction as one can get. You hold no authority here, and Headmistress Ticloon can do a lot a lot more than simply remove you from the grounds. You do not have the right to handle anything," she piped up mildly, after reading the acronym on the badge.
Tamis understood the situation fully and completely, auror work was not all spells and wandwork. It was a legal job and part of the requirements were to be familiar with laws, clauses, degrees and the like. Though Raynor did have a suspicion that the Head of the DoMLE during her years on the job wanted to make sure they knew them so that (being the brutes they were) they would not screw up too bad and get her into TOO much trouble. Though of course, strings were always pulled and certain things overlooked, but Tam doubted this would be one such.

Akina sighed. This was going to be another one of those 'prove yourself' jobs. Akina didn't know who the woman who responded was, but she was sure that now that she had spoken everyone will voice the same concerns.
"Yes, as it may seem except that I am temporarily placed here in the British MoM. I am in custody of a child who is in your school and as such have jurisdiction here in this country. It explains all in the paperwork I have tried to owl to you, but they come back unopened. Trust me I will be back in North America in 3 years or so if everything goes to plan."
Akina looked the smaller woman over. She commanded respect and power though she was of a small stature. Akina smiled and quickly slid it off her face. This school was many things and she was positive she was going to see some good in it. She had to.

Dually silenced by the Headmistress - a rooster, indeed! - Elliot crossed his arms and sulked with a surly expression. Damnable women. The Headmistress was engaging in the eccentric volitile behavior that he'd heard rumor of, threatening to send a Ministry portriat up in flames. Gallaudet, it seemed, was her mouthpeice for the moment, translating reason to this American Auror who was as equally unreasonable as the other two. Nicolae Torque's keeper was she? Well, she could have him.

Akina smiled at everyone hoping to stop the thickening tension that was beginning to grow. Everyone was either truly upset today or they didnt' like eachother. Akina was hoping this would be a happy and uneventful experience, but she could see it would be neither.
"Headmistress if we could please?"

"Then you must have sent the owl to the wrong person, because I always open my mail, Madam." Fiona informed her with tight-lipped smile, glancing briefly at the golden badge. They were slowly eating into her school! Too many MoM officials flocking around. That HAD to stop. "My Deputy is right. But I'll deal with you in a minute, as you shouldn't even be on my campus at the current moment. Once these kids are under this roof, they are under my protection and law. I want proof of your custody when we get into my office, but you'll have to wait." she stated and gave no more attention to the woman than the corner of her eye.
Turning to her wonderful History professor, the Headmistress' eyebrows shot up and she gestured to the large sledgehammer he was using as an armrest. "Do you care to explain what all the hullabaloo is about and why you have that tool in front of my office, Mr. Doggerel?" she questioned curiously, leaning forward slightly in his direction. "I do hope you weren't planning to use that near me."

Thoroughly dismissed Akina lazily waved her hand on the wall. Immediately a long coumfty couch appeared taking no room from the hallway. Akina sat down, crossed her legs, and waited to be seen by the woman.
