The towers had the best view of the grounds, which is why Scarlett choose to go up there on this day. The sunlight was dim due to some dark clouds, covering it's light. To her it still seemed like a nice day because the breeze wasn't cold. Which is why she wore her typical jeans, a grey with black tee, and a white hoodie.
Her white ballet flats hit each of the steps as she made her way up the stairs. The tips of her fingers tracing along the cool bricks. She finally reached the top of the stair and opened the door to an empty tower. She made her way over to the edge and leaned over to see what she could see.

"Don't fall out now"
Michael said in a calm voice from across the tower, he had heard someone enter the tower and had looked up from his book to see Scarlett making her way towards the edge, really he shouldn't of said anything till she was standing up properly again, but he figured that from his tone she wouldn't jump too much.

Scarlett had thought the tower was empty but she had been mistaken. Maybe she should have actually looked around to confirm that she was alone but she hadn't. She figured that out when a deep voice spoke from behind her.
She let out a soft scream as she quickly turned around, to quickly because she almost lost her balance but managed to quickly grab on the the edge. When the inital shock had passed, she sighed in relief it was Mike. "Do you like hiding in towers and scaring people?," she asked jokingly.

Michael had quickly got to his feet and had grabbed hold of Scarlett as he had heard her soft scream, his hand was holding hers and when he noticed this and that she was ok quickly let go. A smile gracing his lips as he looked at her.
"Well I try to not make a habit of it but you know, I guess you could say it was a nice surprise to see you up here"

Scarlett was token away by how fast Mike had been able to grab her as she lost her balance. She let out a small gasp, since she wasn't expecting him to be so close to her. She had grabbed hold of the edge and his hand, as well, with out knowing it. She smiled at him as he let go and she looked up at him, through her brown eyes.
"Nice reflects," she commented to him, since he did have some good moves. "Oh, you only guess," she teased. "Well, what are you doing up here?"

Michael winked at Scarlett when she commented on his reflexes, something that he had honed while he was younger, and worked on a lot at quidditch practice. He couldn't help but catch her eyes in his own for a moment before looking away and laughed slightly.
"Yeah, just a hunch really and as for what I was doing up here, well I was just reading through a few quidditch books just to find some new tactics and what not to use when I play"

"Oh, so do you play on the quidditch team here?," she asked him curiously, as she looked over to see the books he was holding. "Well, I like the view of the towers better then reading uo here," she replied, well the thing was she liked anything better then reading. She turned around and leaned over the edge, once more, this time with more balance. "It's just so peaceful up her,' she said, as she took in a breathe of fresh air.

"Yeah, as it so happens I am"
He said with a small smile, why was he so nervous around her, only he knew the answer to that one. Michael walked up beside her and looked out over the grounds and smiled at her comment, which he had known from day one was true. It was peaceful up there and the view was just spectacular.
"Amazing view too, don't you think?"

"Really," she said, amusement in her eyes. She always liked the sport, she liked almost all sports, including muggle ones. She was big on sports because she liked to keep in shape. "Are you guys all full?," she asked, already thinking she knew the answer to that but she thought she'd ask any ways.
Scarlett looked over her shoulder at him as he came beside her and gave him a playful smile. She looked out at the scenery as he spoke, listening to his deep voice. "Oh, I think it's beautiful," she said softly. "Isn't it just beautiful?"

"Well, I'm not too sure really, but we may have a spot or two open, you thinking of trying out?"
He asked her with a grin on his face, it would be good to have her on the team, and she did look rather fit which was always a good sign.
"It is and you can almost guarantee that everyday when you come up here it would look different to every other day"
He said, giving her a playful smile back after seeing her own towards him

She nodded, "Yeah, maybe, I'm really rusty though so if I was going to do that I'd have to freshn' up on the game," which was true, she'd have to do some conditioning and some reading up on the rules to make sure she remembered them correctly. 'What position do you play?"
She got up from her leaning on the tower and streached her arms back. "Well, this is my first time here but I'm sure your right," she paused. "Nothing, really stays the same," she added, that was a fact of life. verything was constently changing wheather one paid attention to it or not.

"Well....I could always help you out there, if you're willing of course"
He said with a rather flirtatious smile towards Scarlett, now he was sure of one thing, what he was doing now was classified as flirting and most people would have a go at him for it, but hey you couldn't blame the guy.
"I play chaser and yeah your right, nothing does stay the same for too long do they"

Scarlett's eyes lite up as he offered his help to her, "You would? I would owe you big time if you helped me," she spoke turning her body toward him. "I am so willing," she said with excitement in her voice. She was always willing, everything that Scarlett did she gave her all.
So, maybe Scarlett was flirting back. After all the warning that so many people had given her but she could help it. She just knew that she'd have to be cautious of him, if she didn't want to end up as the flavor of the month. She knew that whatever happend she wasn't going to be just the next girl on the list, she would make sure of that.
She smiled, a flirtatious smile back "Well, just take for example right now," she said as her eyes drifted around the tower. "Your not the same person you were before I walked in and I'm not the same as I was either," she paused, thinking that she wasn't making any sense. "I'm not making any sense," she laughed at herself , throwing her hands in the air.

Michael smiled and laughed along with her, but all being said she was making a fair bit of sense to him, they weren't the same people they were on the day Scarlett had come to the school and really Michael would love to just forget portions of that encounter, oh okay maybe just forget that Nic and Seanna had been there as well.
"No, you did make a little sense there's no need to worry"
He said in a soothing voice as he caught her eyes in his momentarily once more.

She had hoped that she made some sort of sense and it had seemed that he had at least gotten some part of what she was tring to say.
She laughed, "A least I made a little," she said as her eyes met his, once again. Whenever this happened she couldn't help but smile but she also couldn't help but have the thoughts that said stay away from him. Clearly, her feeling of wanting to know him were stronger then those but the thoughts were still there and there they would remain if she didn't get things cleared up. So, she asked, "Now, why does everybody say your a player?"
