Like a cat napping in a patch of sun Tallulah was curled up below one of the windows, taking it whatever sun she could. Yes, this was a weird place to be sleeping but this particular patch of sun was sending out major sleepy rays. Even someone with an iron will like Tallulah's couldn't resist the tempt to lie down and pass out. Luckily she was hidden away on a hallway that wasn't used often, many students didn't use it because it was so out of the way. So Tallulah snoozed on, recharging herself with sleep and sun.
Her small body was in the fetal position, curled up facing the window. Tallulah wore a pair of black skinny leg pants, a white tshirt, her slytherin sweater which she usually wore with her uniform. On her feet were a pair of light pink bunny slippers. Since it was the weekend she for no reason to have to wear normal shoes. Slippers were just fine for the Slytherin. What she lacked was a pillow and a blanket. She didn't plan on falling asleep under this window, it just happened.
Something woke her up. It sounded like a squeak from where she was. Lifting her head from the ground she looked around, seeing no one. Not even a mouse. Feeling the rays of sleepyness attack her again she put her head back down on the ground, letting herself fall victim to their sleepy death. Her mind wandered as she let go on her conciousness. Thoughts went to Dante, the boy she asked out. How lovely he was to her. She smiled in her sleep as she thought about him. She was quite lucky.
Though no one could see it, under her sweater she stuck her doll, the one she slept with every night. Dolly was her name. This old doll looked like it had better days. It's pink fabric body was now slightly gray and it's cream face had some stains. She thought these things gave her doll character and made it all her own. Her parents told her to throw it away but she couldn't. This doll was her oldest friend. Tallulah had no idea why she brought her doll along, at the moment it felt right. Keeping her hidden she stirred a little, not really waking up, but only turning over to now have her back to the window.

Dante was slowly making his way to the Owlry. He was slow because it was one of those days where he wanted to take in everything that was around him, not because he wanted to avoid sending the letter. He wanted to send the letter to Isac’s parents, to tell them how he was doing at school this year. Ever since the incident so many years ago they enjoyed hearing how he was doing in school.
He passed a hallway and looked down it before moving on. It was dark and he could barely see the outlines of a wall at the end, a single door standing in the middle of the wall, it was dull though. So he continued down the hall, running his hand across the stone brushing over the grooves between stones as he went. Coming across another hallway it looked the same, dark and unwelcoming he was quick to pass it. His shoes making the slightest echo as he walked down the hall, he wondered if anyone was even remotely close enough to hear his approach. He was never that interested in wearing a sweatshirt, so for today he wore a dark blue one that had a zipper; so that he could leave it open. Underneath, a light blue button-up shirt with white strips that worked well with his black dress pants. If B had set up another trap around here it would have been impressive to see. But he wagered the little guy was not going to be found in the halls today.
Another hall quickly came into view, but this one was different. Instead of being dark at the end, a window was there, allowing light to shine through, it was much more welcoming than the other two halls, and it made him pause for a moment longer than he had for the others. A good thing he had stopped, because at that moment he saw in the light of the window a figure, someone or something lying down in the light. He could see nothing that would identify the figure outright, so he took several steps down the hall, into a portion that was covered in the shadow of the hall before reaching the next light available. As he got closer it became apparent that it was a human figure that was in the light, but from the angle no face could be seen. He wagered it was a girl by the pink bunnies on the feet though, and it took a bit of control to not laugh at the slippers. But the figure turned around in the light and he could see a face that he recognized. Any concern or curiosity that was expressed on his face changed instantly into a smile. “Hey there sunshine,” he said through a grin. He could not tell for sure if she was awake or asleep, so he waited a bit before taking another step toward her, waiting for a reaction from his comment. Of all the places to find Tallulah, he thought to himself.

The ray of sunshine felt really nice against her skin. Like a warm comforter in the middle of winter. Tallulah sighed quietly as she snuggled against her arms. With the sun out of her eyes she could finally fall back asleep. Her mind wandered, letting all of the things that had been happening to her work themselves out. Her thoughts fluttered back to Dante and how happy she had been the past few weeks since they had been dating. Everything was going great. She then thought about her parents and how their reaction would be. They would probably disown her for being a blood traitor, for dirtying her blood by being with someone of 'unclean' blood as they would call it. This notion made her sick to the stomach. If she was happy shouldn't they be too?
“Hey there sunshine,”
The voice was familiar to her. It made Tallulah warm up even more, feeling safe. In her mind she tried to figure out who that voice belonged to. After a few seconds her eyes popped open and she glanced up to the person who spoke to her. She smiled up at Dante as she sat up and stretched. Tallulah yawned, covering her mouth as she did. Looking back to Dante she smiled sheepishly, embarrassed that he found her in a hallway sleeping. Something felt funny in her sweatshirt. Looking down she remembered her doll she stuffed there. Biting her lip she pulled the doll out and hid it as quick as possible, hoping Dante didn't see it.
Looking back over to where he was she grinned again. "Hey there handsome. Funny to see you here." Still sleepy she hoped what she just said made sense. Tallulah wasn't quite sure if she was still dreaming. She could be, in that case Dante wouldn't have seen her doll or anything. She pushed herself onto her feet and walked over to him and gave him a hug, resting her head on his shoulder.

He stood there and watched her slowly wake up. Something reminded him of a cat the way she stayed in the sun coming from the window. She clearly was not completely awake just yet, as she stretched and smiled at him. He had not even paid attention to the fact that she hid something, he saw her moved a little quickly compared to her slow waking up. But he dismissed it as nothing, maybe pulling a muscle or something. At any rate, despite just waking up he could not help but note how cute she looked. The sweatshirt, the bunny slippers, it was almost comical in a way. He could not help but smirk at her because of it. Figuring it was best not to say anything about it, at least not yet.
"Hey there handsome. Funny to see you here." He smiled at her remark. It was somewhat funny to find her in the light of a window. He could not help but think if he was not walking so slowly down the hall he would have easily past by without taking interest in the scene. Trying to put into a few words the thoughts he had just run through his head about it all. “It is somewhat funny, to run into you like this.” Fate? He doubted it could be fate, Dante was never one to believe in it. But it was still odd to find her resting in a window by herself. Maybe she had intended to be alone up here. It was pretty far out of the way.
Then she rose and walked to him, ending up in a hug with her head on his shoulder. He remembered the dance and her head landing on his shoulder in a similar way. This time though, his hands were not wrapped around her waist attempting to dance. This time instead, he picked up his left hand and brought it through her hair as she relaxed on his shoulder. He was able to run his hand so smoothly through her hair. The sweatshirt was so warm from the light that she had been laying in. It must have been really nice to lie in the sun. “I didn’t interrupt your nap did I?” he said somewhat jokingly, knowing that she probably would not mind that he came over and bothered her.

She couldn't help but smile at him up here. Though she didn't know where exactly the Ravenclaw dorms were she did know they were in the towers. Something that didn't make her happy. She was stuck down in the dank dungeons and he got a beautiful view of the area. Tallulah wouldn't pout about that now, not while she was with Dante. When she was with him a smile always find it's way to her face.
“It is somewhat funny, to run into you like this.”
"Oh really? Well, it is somewhat funny. I mean your dorm is somewhere around here right?" Her eyes glanced around as if to look for some unseen door that would lead into the Ravenclaw common room. She was curious to see a common room that wasn't hers but if she did that she would lose a billion house points and she didn't want that. Their house needed them. Tallulah's eyes drifted back to Dante, still curious. Since this day she wasn't wearing high heels she had to go on her toes to kiss Dante. Their lips met lightly at first then she pressed a little harder before ending the kiss. She felt a little lightheaded as she broke the kiss.
"I think you make me a bit woozy. When we kiss that is." The comment was a bit weird, but thats how he made her felt. Lightheaded, woozy, totally girly. Tallulah was the perfect example of your typical girl. Always primped perfectly and looking great. And yet she could play with the roughest of the boys. Someone making her woozy? She just wasn't used to this.
“I didn’t interrupt your nap did I?”
Tallulah shook her head. "Nope. I was passing by and I just saw this amazing patch of sun and it sent out major sleep rays and I needed to sleep in it." Her hands fell down to his waist and held herself close to him. "What were you doing around here?"

“I mean your dorm is somewhere around here right?" “Somewhere around here” Dante said, not wanting to give much away about the entrance. Though honestly Dante would not have cared very much if she found the door and went into the common room. Granted they were not really close to the entrance right now, so her current interest in it was a little misplaced. He thought a lot of the house secret stuff was kind of silly. But he figured if he gave the entrance away many of his fellow Ravenclaw would be rather upset. So he kept it ambiguous for the time being.
When she kissed him though, all the thoughts on the common room fell right away. If she ever wanted him to clear his mind, a kiss was the way to do it. So when she even said that it made her woozy, he could relate to that in some way. Though it was not so much as a dizzying effect, as a wiping clean his mind. This in itself was a nice effect, because he always had something to think about, the clearing of everything was a welcome reprieve. Though for the moment, when she said it made her woozy he did move his arms a bit to her sides. Woozy in his book meant that she might be dizzy or something, after just waking up he could not be sure, and he just wanted to make sure she was not going to fall or anything randomly.
He was happy to hear that he was not interrupting an important nap. Though when she commented that the light was sending out major sleep rays he smiled at the phrase. She was perhaps the only person he’d let slide with such a statement, at least he would for now. He might be forced to bring it back up when she was more awake, but for now he decided to be nice about it and just let out a little grin and a light laugh when she said it.
“What were you doing around here?" He remembered the letter that he had stuffed in his back pocket right when he started to go down the hall. He reached back with his right hand to check if it had been wrinkled when he shoved it back there. “I was heading through the towers toward the Owlry,” he pulled the letter out of his pocket and showed it to Tallulah “was going to send some mail to a friend’s parents.” He smiled, if he had to explain Isac to her, he was sure she’d understand. But really he rather hoped that she just brushed it off for now. He would be able to explain the situation just as well now as he would later, though he still wanted to hope for later.

Tallulah didn't care to know where the Ravenclaw common room was. She did wonder what it looked like. Her common room was very dark and somewhat dank, especially when it rained. She did love the walls that were charmed so they could look out into the great lake. Nothing could see into the common room, something she was grateful for. "Must have some gorgeous view of the lands around here. I would love to live in there. My common room is quite dark. Very green." Inwardly she scolded herself for the last comment. Of course her common room was green, it was one of her house colors. She then let herself slide, hoping he didn't pick up on that last comment.
Oh kissing him felt so good. His body was warm, but not too warm. She was pretty hot at the moment from her nap in the sun. As their kiss came to an end she felt his hands slide to her hips, something that brought a smile to her face. She chuckled slightly, looking him in the eyes. He was getting more comfortable with her, touching her, being around her. This relived her a lot. Tallulah was worried that she was being too aggressive with him or just too lovey dovey, which was a possibility. She ran her arms up to his shoulders and rested them there.
“I was heading through the towers toward the Owlry. Was going to send some mail to a friend’s parents.”
Tallulah couldn't help but sigh at this. Was Dante this thoughtful and kind to a friend's parents? Tallulah wouldn't send Emeric's parents a letter about her school year and how she was doing. "That is so sweet. Your friend's parents must really love you." Such a sweet gesture on his part warmed her heart in such ways. "I wish I had a friend's parents who liked me that much as to care about my grades."

"Must have some gorgeous view of the lands around here. I would love to live in there."
Looking out the right window did provide a nice view of the grounds, some places that you could see from the sky that he still was unable to find on the ground. Hogwart's would probably always have those mysteries though, even if he came back as a professor he doubted he could explore the whole place.
Her comments on Isac's parents brought Dante down just a bit. Though his facial expression remained the same. If she had known the whole story she might feel differently about saying such things. But he wasn't going to let it out just yet. Her smile was to genuine, and he was in a good mood as well. Talking about it just did not seem right to him, another time though, he wanted to be sure to tell her. It was an important part of his life, and on the list of things he avoided sharing, it was pretty high up on the list. Sweet? Well maybe it was, but he had to get away from the topic. “Just something I've always done,” he paused with a smile as he put the letter back into his pant pocket. “It's a bit tough to explain” he let the words fade off as he made the statement.
When she had brought her hands to his shoulders it reminded him of the dance that was nearly a month ago. And how they had progressed since then. He still found wrapping arms together while walking was awkward, but he was getting over that. Hard to believe they had been going out for a month, he wondered if he was supposed to get her something for one month. Probably should at least make note of it at any rate. And of course, starting on Valentine's day made it easier for Dante to remember exactly when the month had passed. He took a swayed from side to side pretending to dance right there in the hall, and as he did he gave her a kiss on the forehead.

“Just something I've always done,”
She couldn't help but smile at this. Was he always this amazing? Biting her lower lip she gave him a grin. "Well I think it is just lovely of you to do such a thing." Tallulah squeezed his shoulders lightly as she said this. Of all the nice things for him to do this was probably the nicest. She could also pick up that he didn't want to speak about this subject anymore. She wouldn't pry. That would be rude and the outcome could be less then nice.
His lips made her skin tingle where he kissed her. She had never felt something like this before. Was it normal? She had no idea but whatever it was she loved it. From the position she was in she couldn't move much, but that didn't bother the Slytherin. What she could do was move her head the slightly to the right and kiss him lightly on the jaw. It wasn't a normal place to kiss someone but they were alone and it didn't matter. If she could she would stand here with him forever.
Finally pulling her head away (this took a lot of persuasion on her part) she glanced away from him and down the hall. She thought she heard something. Seeing nothing she turned back. "Well, since you need to send your letter lets walk to the Owlry and send it. Walking might help me wake up." She let her hands slip from his shoulders to his hands, beckoning him in the direction of the Owlry.

She kissed his...jaw? It was a bit of a place to be kissed, but it was just something he was beginning to almost expect from Tallulah. One of those situations to expect the unexpected. Not to mention she was a little bit shorter than he was, so reaching his jaw line was a little easier for the girl than his forehead, or lips for that matter. He smirked as she kissed him, and brought his chin up just a little bit. His goal was to make her have to work a little to keep the kiss going. He had a big smirk on his face, as he was trying to be playful throughout the contact. He hoped she hadn't noticed that he had forgotten to shave that week. He was still getting use to the whole concept of shaving, but at least he was doing better about cutting his cheeks with the razors.
At any rate, when she released her lips from his skin he looked down to make eye contact with her. Though it was only for a quick moment before she looked down the hall he could see that, he was caught in the brown eyes. He did not get to think about her eyes for very long though. As she turned and moved her hand to his.
“Well, since you need to send your letter lets walk to the Owlry and send it. Walking might help me wake up. ” It sounded like a good idea, and he was glad that she had thought of it. He would have been quiet content to stay in one spot, maybe even move to the window and look out over the grounds. But going to the Owlry was actually something productive, and as strange as it might have seemed in his mind, he was happy to be productive. It offered a different kind of content feeling than gazing out a window gave.. “That sounds like a great idea,” he said with a smile.
As he said it he gripped onto her right hand with his left, so that they could hold hands as they walked. Her hand was a bit colder than his, but that was fine. It reminded him of the first night they really hung out. As they had walked to the kitchen that night, that was now quite some time ago.
