January 3, 2009 4:39 P.M. In the Owlry
Holding a book was all that Tristan carrying when he walked to the Owlry. Even though it was infested with feces and sucth. He had no other place but to express of what he was feeling right now. Reading the book on the way up there was rather exciting for Tristan. He had been reading a play called A Loveless Dream by a unknown person. Reading it further and further, he started to adore the play really.
Peaking around the Owlry, he gazed at some owls which sent them flying away. All now that he was waiting for..... was her.

Anna had recieved a message from Tristan saying he wanted to talk with her. Strange part of the thing was he wanted to see her in the owlery but at the moment it didn't seem so important. But what could he want to talk about? Well she was about to find out soon enough. At least the walk from Gryffindor tower was not all that far away from the owlery.
Entering, Anna saw her boyfriend standing there clutching a book but the title was a mystery. "Hey Tristan." she smiled going up to him. "What did you want to talk to me about?"

He turned around to look outside.
"My friend, the fates are curel, there are no dreams, no honor remains the arrow has left the bow of the goddess"
He turned around and looked at her. He smiled and laughed. "You remember the book I talked to you about, don't you? One of the greatest books in my opinion," he said as he put the book back in his pocket.
He turned around to look outside again. "Your probably wondering why I asked you to come?" he asked.

Anna stood there and listened as Tristan recited what sounded like a quote. Well, it couldn't actually have been him talking since she never heard him speak like that before. She sort of remembered about a book that he liked but all the details about it were blurry. Was he going to talk to her about a book? One thing was for sure and Anna had no clue where this was going so far. Especially when Tristan turned around and faced the outside again kinda like when you are in trouble about something in a movie.
"Um...yes." Anna answered curiously, "Didn't I just ask what did you want to talk to me about?"

Turning around, he gave a evil smile, then it turned into a regular smile. Then turning back around to face outside. "I need your help," he said to her. What did he need her help for? She was the girlfriend, so supposedly she was the one to go to if he were to be in trouble. But he wasn't in trouble, and it didn't sound like he needed help on a school assignment.
"Waiting for it to be received. A harsh tomorrow and rolling winds defy us"
"First, I want to ask you a question," he said to her.
"Have you ever lost everything in your life before?"

Raising an eyebrow, Anna laughed slightly as Tristan gave some kind of evil smirk. Yep, he was definatly acting like someone from a mafia movie or something like it. When he asked, "I need your help she walked forward, taking care to mind all the owls that were still and put her arms around his waist. However before she could say much else he asked her something a bit peculiar. Had Anna ever lost anything? That all depended what that 'thing' was wasn't it?
"What do you mean exactly?" she asked patiently.

"You know my story. You know what happened in my youth. It is what I told you! My parents being killed. My grandfather murdered. My uncle-in-law commiting sucidie. Who's next? Why is that everyone seems to have everything at what they need? Why do they seem to always know how to keep life on the good side and not worry about and yet I do?" he said in frustrating.
"I'm sorry...." he apolgized. "This world is not what it seems. The second I came into the light, I thought of hope. But it seems I can't have that desire. Meek as it seems. I am hopeless," he said as he started to walk off.

Anna sighed, she did know Tristan's story and it was one of the saddest that she ever heard before. Obviously hers did not compare to his but it just goes to show that there were many that had some kind of obsticle in life he or she had to overcome. "I know...you've been through more than most at this school. And you know that my own grandfather was taken away from me when I was little. Also the fact of how my aunt and uncle turn out."
The gryff paused for a second and looked up toward the ceiling trying to phrase what to say next. "No one is hopeless you know, everyone has some trace of hope in their life but some have yet to find it."
