"Sure its no trouble to get you a glass of water." James said looking at Ash who looked as though she was quite desperate for one. Taking out his wand he first conjured the glass and then filled it with water. "Here ya go," he said handing it to the girl. He didn't know if she would be able to wait long enough for him to actually get into the staff lounge.
Then seeing Professor Solis appear suddenly he said, "Ya, I am. But currently my path is blocked. Which is to bad since I have actual candy in there." he said with a small grin. Thinking that handing the kids a dung bomb might not be that smart of an idea, especially if you are denying them candy at the same time. There is a high probability that they will take the dung bombs and use them as the trick. But deciding not to say anything about it.

Charon turned to look at the girl who'd sudeenly slipped behind him. Was she afraid of the professor or something? He couldn't see why, the professor seemed nice enough. And she was handing out sickles and dungbombs. Sure, it wasn't as nice for eating as candy, but it were more treats than they'd had five minutes ago. "Thanks," Charon said to her. Now for the candy. He'd heard his Muggle Studies professor's proclamation, and called out, "Hey, can we make some room for Professor Norbrook to get through?" Candy, money, and dungbombs. Not a bad haul so far.

She smiled, taking the glass of water into her hands, "We could settle for more money, if you don't have enough candy." she said, speaking for the whole group now and appearing from behind the boy that was dressed as red death. She wasn't trying to sound greedy or rude, she was just giving a smart suggestion to the teachers. They seemed a bit clueless about the whole trick-or-treating idea.
It felt good to know more than they did, although Professor Norbrook was the muggle studies professor, she couldn't underestimate him.

At the apperance of Solis, Drew took a tentative step backwards, keeping a wary eye on the woman. Though her offerings seemed harmless enough, he wasn't sure he wanted to accept anything she gave them.
Unfortunately his step back landed him directly on the toes of another professor and he turned around to see who he had stepped on. "I'm sorry, I didn't see you behind us," he told the man apologetically and in an effort to right the wrong ended up stepping on Ash instead. Her costume already made her a little unsure on her feet and after the josteling Drew had just given her, it would be a wonder if she stayed on her feet.

Jack couldn't believe that Raynor didn't know what Trick-or-Treat was after all the name gave it away. Even though he was a pure blood he still knew what it was and enjoyed doing it as a small child, but maybe in her time it was still unheard of in the wizarding world or maybe he just lived by too many muggle not to be involved. He watched as another Professor appeared from down the hall. It was Norbrook and he was trying to get into the staff lounge. He said he had something that he could give them so Jack was all for clearing the way for him to get through so that he could have some. As he started to move to the side to give the Professor some room to get by yet again another teacher appeared in the door and was handing out money and a dung bomb. All of the sudden an evil thought popped into his head. They could always use the dung bombs against the professors if they didn't give them any candy, though no one would probably dare since their own head of house was there. He then waited for Norbrook to get into the lounge so that at long last he could have a piece of candy.

Ash fell over hard on her back as Drew had stumbled into her. "Ahh!" she screamed as she fell with a small bounce. Her suit had broken the fall, luckily. She rolled a little until her hand caught the ground, making the costume sway to a stop. Ash glanced at Drew, embarrassed about what had just happened and tried to get up, although her legs could hardly reach the groud. This was even worse than choking on eggs! Ash's face turned pink as she struggled like a beetle on it's back. This was so sad.

"I'm sure you would," James said with a smirk, "but as it turns out I have quite the stock of candy in there." pointing into the staff's lounge. Then filling a pain in his foot he looked down to see that Drew was stepping on it. "No problem," he said as the boy turned around apologizing. Looking up he saw that Ash had been knocked back onto the ground and was now rolling down the corridor. When she had finally managed to stop herself he rushed over to see if he could help her up. "You OK?" he asked extending his hand to her, so that he could help pull her to her feet.

Drew rushed over to help Ash as well, tripping on his own feet in his hurry and landing a good yard away from where she had stopped rolling. "Sorry Ash!" he groaned, feeling bad for toppling her over like that.
Great. He was sure that Solis would be thinking fo new names to call him besides "Underwear Boy' from now on.

Charon couldn't help but laugh. It was like watching a scene from a Three Stooges video. Only with less eye-poking and slapping. "Are you guys always this clumsy when trick or treating?" he asked as he made his way over to Drew. He held out a hand to help the younger boy up, still chuckling. This was certainly the most interesting trick or treat session he'd ever had.

She bit her lip and held onto Professor Norbrook's hand, trying to get up. "It's okay.." she said to Drew, knowing that it was only an accident. She had even backed away when seeing Solis exit from the Staff's lounge, it wasn't a surprise that Drew had done the same. " It wasn't your fault." she said sitting up. Ash managed to smile a bit even though she was far from happy.

"Tricks and treats! Tricks and treats!" Becca cried out from inside the Staff room and she jumped up from her seat and grabbed the candy bowl she had made. The Ravenclaw tradition had started long after she had been at school (she had a sneaky suspicion that one of the students at the door had been the founder), but she had... surprisingly... remembered their annual visit. She recognized most of the faces and assumed the tall one on the floor had to be the Thornton boy. Why he had decided to crawl around on the ground was a mystery.
"Mr. Thornton, Miss Xin. If you want the treats, I dare say you need to get up. I'm not about to toss my candy on the floor," she told them as she managed to get around the other professors to fill the students' bags.

Ellie tried to hide her smile with the end of her sleeve. "James," she said rang out. "Er... students, can you please make room for Professor Norbrook?" she asked politely enough. "Mr. Thornton, stand up before you get trampled upon,"
She was amused by Ash's reaction to her. "Ms. Xin, there's nothing to be afraid of, you know," she blinked, wondering why she was acting in such a peculiar way.

She sighed, blushing even more. Why was this night turning out like this? She smiled at Professor Solis, yes, there was, she didn't want to end up like Drew, hated by Solis. That wouldn't be good. She did feel sort of bad for Drew, he didn't do anything to deserve her hatred although then again, in reality you can't be liked by everyone-- sadly, it still wasn't fair.
"Um, thanks.." she said the Professor Norbrook and Drew and to Solis as she got up.

Drew struggled to his feet with the help of Charon's hand. He did his best to avoid Solis's eye but smiled sheepishly at the other professors, mumbling another apology to Norbrook and thanking Davenport for the candy.
Now if he could just get out of there before doing something else stupid, everything would be fine.

These students are so strange... she thought to herself, not sure why they were being so cautious. She hoped that Drew would at least say something to her, but instead he kept his distance. Aye, esto es no divertido...
She gave a small smile and nod at Ash, crossed her arms and leaned on the doorway. "James, are you still getting that candy?" She looked behind her shoulder and pointed to the room behind her. "If you can tell me where it is, I'll just go and get it for you?"
It was scary how a woman like Solis could be so bipolar. She seemed rather kind and sweet, but she could also be your worst enemy. She was sadistic, but she had compassion. She was a walking contradiction.
