"I think we're good," Drew mumbled back with his eyes still down, really not wanting anything from that woman. It surprised him that she was actually being normal, but he wasn't going to let his guard down around her for even a second. He had his candy from Davenport and besides, the Slytherins would probably steal it all anyway.

Ash looked curiously at Solis, was she up to something? Man, Ash was getting paranoid about this woman after that detention. It was just some candy anyway and they would probably all know who did it if half of the Ravenclaws were found dead at the Ball. Ash shrugged and happily stuck her hand out the accept the candy, " I'm not, I'd like some candy, if you have any to give." she said smiling.
Solis wasn't all that bad, just to Drew and a few selected others.

(dude... drama and trickORtreating don't mix)
Still smiling slightly, she raised an eyebrow in an almost sinister way. "Oh really? Es una lástima..." She leaned on the doorway and sighed. This Thornton boy was ruining all her fun. She was starting to have so much fun until he started acting so cold towards her. She looked down at the ground, and retreated back into the staff room quietly. Feeling slightly defeated, once more.
When Ash piped up for some candy, she turned back to her and gave the girl a rare smile. "Alright, give me a moment," she said cheerfully.
((*tries to make Drew look like the bad guy* cough))

He really didn't care if she thought it was a pity or not. And he didn't care if the others wanted to take the candy from her (though he was slightly worried he'd find them all dead from poisoning by morning). Drew wanted nothing to do with her and withdrew to the back of the pack, ready to leave when the others were done.

Ash nodded happily, "You should really go easier on him, Professor, he's not all that bad." she said, noticing Drew slunking off to the corner. She couldn't believe she was saying this to a teacher! Wow, it felt kind of good... but BAD at the same time! She tried to not smile and stay solemn about it. Lauren was really really rubbing off on her-- it wasn't a good thing either.

Charon held out his pillowcase. "I'll take some, too, please," he said. He wasn't sure what was up with Drew. Must be a teacher he really couldn't stand. But Charon could tolerate almost anyone, as long as they were giving out candy. Free food with excessive amounts of sugar was one of his favorite things. As well as freaking people out occasionally. And best of all, the former often led to the latter.

Solis heard Ash, but decided to ignore the girl. So they thought that she was treating Drew unfairly? That's only because the boy had managed to rub her the wrong way everytime they saw each other. Ellie couldn't find James' candy, but instead, conjured up her own Honeyduke's chocolate. She felt rather charitable and gave each student-- except Drew, since he didn't want one-- a chocolate bar. She actually slipped two in Ash's bag and winked at her, hoping she'd understand her intentions. "Well, I must be going now..." she said to her students. "I've got things to do. But have fun, alright?"
She walked out of the staff's antechamber. As she passed Drew, she gave him a smile and winked at him. She understood that Drew would probably never take the chocolate, but it didn't really phase her.

Drew didn't see the smile or the wink, turning his eyes down as she passed him. He still didn't know what he had done to warrant her awful treatment of him and now, with her sweet que lastima no quieres dulces, he was all the more wary of her.

Kyle started off as extremely hyper. But that had been dampened after being told he gotta calm down. He's still hyper, just no as much.
As for the trick-or-treating, he had to admit that was really different than what he used to. He had never received money on trick-or-treating before. And what's the big black sphere thingy? He had never seen that.
The other professor's response was much more familiar. As he eagerly unwrapped one of the many candies, he carelessly dropped the unknown object on the floor.
(I wonder if dropping the dungbomb would set it off?)

Ash smiled as Solis had given her the candy although a bit surprised that she had gotten two. At first she thought that Solis just liked her a lot and just given her extra because of that reason although after a few seconds, she thought-- Wait, Solis doesn't like me, at least not that much. She finally put together the meaning of the extra chocolate bar and a small smile spread on her face. How nice...
Solis wasn't that bad.

Allegra looked carefully at Solis's retreating back. The tension between the professor and her brother had but a damper on the start of their evening, but that didn't mean the sour mood had to continue.
"Watch it Kyle," Allegra pointed out, scooping up the dungbomb and slipping it into his treat bag. She wasn't sure if Professor Raynor would let them keep that particular item (or even if Allegra herself would let them keep them), but until then, the first year could enjoy just having it.

After Norbrook helped Ash up off of the floor he made his way back over to the staff room. Entrance now free from a majority of the students who were gathered around Drew and Ash. He watched as an overly enthuisastic professor came bounding out of the staff lounge crying 'Trick and Treats'. Quickly stepping aside to make way for her. He heard Mariella asking him where he had kept the candy, "Ya, but I can get it for them right now."
Then entering the staff lounge he made his way over to the cabinet that held all of the muggle candy he had brought with him when he came to this school. He had thought that some of the professors might like to try some different kinds of muggle candy so he had taken the boxes to the staff room. Grabbing a couple of the boxes he made his way out to where the rest of the students were. Giving each of them a king size snickers bar and a king size twix. "There you go. I dare say you made off with enough candy to make it to your next stop." Norbrook said with a grin.

Blink. Blink. Blink. Many different things happened at once. The Muggle Studies Professor appeared in the hallway, claiming to have candy inside. Not completely unprobable. many of the Professors kept little treats they liked to munch on inside. Then the Astronomy Professor popped her head out around Tamis, handed out -- were those dungbombs!? And then Becca came to save the day.
But alas, not before Solís managed to walk right through the Deputy standing in the doorway, as well as lean through her countless times. She must have become a ghost. All of which left her there dumbfounded. Yes, Tamis had never incountered trick or treating. Her family had been strictly pureblood as well as her home after that. But the concept was growing fast.
For her own safty, she cleared the doorway for Norbrooks. The dungbombs would be handled, but she presumed Allegra would take care of that.

Kyle grinned, with the candy still inside his mouth, as another professor handed them some chocolate bars. He appreciated the thoughfulness of him to give them something so huge so that it would last until their next stop. Just that alone was enough for Kyle to decide to take Muggle Studies in his 3rd year.
"Whas dat Allega?" he asked the girl as he torn open the wrapping paper of a chocolate bar and stuffed himself silly.

"Oh score!" Charon said as he took a Snickers and Twix from Professor Norbrook. He hadn't had either of them in almost a year. And the man was handing out king size bars! A bar of Honeydukes, 2 king sized candy bars, money and a dungbomb...this was seriously his best haul yet. Sure it wasn't as much as he'd gotten in the past, but the night wasn't over yet. They still had a few more stops to get even more stuff.
