Shaking her head, the blonde flashed the Hufflepuff a smile. Why should she mind, she was still standing there conversing with him, right? If she minded, she wouldn't actually be there right then, still, offering to wait for him. Really, how long would she actually have to wait? Someone had to have sent him a map or directions to the Hufflepuff commons, right? Felicity had arrived at the beginning of the year so she'd found her area of commons with the first years, but surely people were that inhumane to not give him an inkling to where he would have to go.
"All right," she told him, putting her back against the wall she'd run into. It couldn't really take that long, could it? She could kind of point him in a general direction, but that was about it, more than that and she'd probably lose him and herself, too. Sliding down along the wall, she sat, Indian-style, waiting for his return.

Caleb smiled at her again and turned back to the stairs, pulling the map and directions out of his pocket so he could take a quick look. The new Hufflepuff mumbled the directions to himself, looking up every so often so he could see where he was going. Caleb dragged his trunk along with him, wishing it was lighter. He was a fairly strong boy, but it was still a strain to hoist it up all those stairs.
Finally, Finn was basically going in the right direction and found the entrance to his Common Room. He looked around him quickly, just to make sure he was alone before saying the password aloud and entering the place. It was pretty cool, how hidden it was and he wondered what was hiding the other houses too.
Once inside, Caleb ran up th stairs, noticing that the Common Room was empty and the whole place was almost deserted. There were a couple boys in some other rooms, but Caleb didn't stop to talk right now. He finally found his room and dropped his trunk, stretching his arm out. He opened it up and pulled out a pair of shorts and peeled off his clothes, changing quickly but leaving his white tank top undershirt on as he pulled his shorts on too. He changed into his running shoes and grabbed a bottle of water. Looking around, Caleb made sure his area was cleaned up so the other boys wouldn't mess with the new guy's stuff and headed back out, trying to figure out how to get back to the Entrance Hall.
Finally, Caleb turned a corner and descended the stairs, smiling at the girl who was still there waiting. "Hey," he greeted her again, "You ready?"

Shifting ever so slightly, bit by bit, Felicity ended with her knees drawn up to her chin, picking at the laces on her trainers. The outside was calling to her, but she had to wait for the return of the boy since she said she would. How would it look if she disappeared and he suddenly returned? And she didn't know how far away the Hufflepuff dormitories were anyway, she'd never asked anyone one of them, maybe she would Alexander next time she saw him. He'd probably give her one of his smiles that wondered what she was up to, but she would only ask on average how long it took him to get from the common rooms to the Entrance Hall. Surely it didn't take as long as it did from Gryffindor or Ravenclaw, as both were located up in the towers, and Felicity only really knew that much about Ravenclaw because both she and Celina went in that general direction when returning to their own dormitories, and Drew too.
As she sat waiting, Felicity pulled the bottom of her jogging pants up, fixing her sock from underneath. It didn't look very straight in her shoe, poking out like it should've. No, she wasn't the type to have to look perfect, but it was bothering her now that she knew what her sock was doing. Pulling her shoe off, she attempted, again and again, to fix it before giving up and leaving it alone, pulling her shoe on over it. Maybe it wouldn't be quite so bothersome while running.
Tilting her head back to glance up at the boy, Felicity smiled and nodded in answer. "I'm always ready," she told him, somewhat challengingly with a cheesy grin. Standing, she stretched her arms well above her head before slipping her arms behind her and motioning towards the door. "So, I guess the real question would be...are you ready? And can you keep up?"

Caleb noted the challenging tone in which the girl had spoken and he glared back at her defiantly, but in a playful way. He snickered at her question and laughed mockingly. "I think the question is, can you keep up with me," Caleb retorted with a playful grin. He headed toward the front doors, taking the handle and opening it for the girl. The Hufflepuff motioned to the opening for Felicity to exit. "After you," the boy offered.

Smiling carefully back at the boy, she had to give a short laugh in answer. Felicity wasn't a slow runner, the only thing she could see him having an advantage of was the length of his legs; if it weren't for Drew's height she'd be able to keep up with him at a fast-pace run, no problem, or at least she liked to think so.
Stretching her legs as she waited for Caleb to open the door, Felicity rolled her eyes gently. If she pushed herself, no matter how fast the boy was, she was sure she could keep up. It was a matter of striving for the goal, today's goal was beating the new boy.
"I don't think that'll be a problem," the blonde grinned before exiting the door, and taking off immediately into the outdoors. After all, he would be after her, running behind.

Somehow, Caleb had known she was going to take off like that, but it still caught him off-guard. He knew chasing after her without stretching was a bad idea, but he grunted and took off anyways, pumping his strong legs hard as he tried to catch up to her. As he slowly closed the gap, Caleb shouted ahead at the girl. "First of all!" he hollered, "That was cheating!" He closed it a little more, pushing himself hard. "Second!" he said, almost into her ear now, "I'm still gonna beat you." Caleb laughed and kept going, looking ahead of him and concentrating on the tree just next to the lake.
Over his shoulder now (but only slightly) Caleb told her where he was going. "First to the tree," he suggested, pointing ahead.
