Emerald looked and smelled around the cracks of each door on the ground floor looking for the scent of Celina’s brother. It would be around here somewhere, but it always seemed to move around. Emerald didn’t understand how that was possible and Celina really didn’t explain the situation to her real well.
“It’s around her somewhere,” Celina whispered to Emerald knowing full well why it seemed his room moved. It was a spell, rather complex, but completely doable. It made it harder for the room to find, yet it never really moved. It made it so Alfonz could hide even better, and it was why he never really had a name on the door. Too easy to be found, though Celina was sure that all the people that knew about did, but those who did not were better not knowing.
Their footsteps echoed in the hall as the looked around some more, and though it was probably not the best time during the day to go searching for Alfonz. Celina figured that he probably would have work that should be done, though they really never did discuss what they had to do when not with each other. It was a damper the Jedynaks didn’t want to deal with, and Celina would rather Alfonz not worry about her studies. He had other things that Celina figured he had to look out for, like the people he worked with and for.
It was when she rounded the corner though that she bumped right into someone, and she froze. “I…I…I’m sorry,” Celina whispered, as Emerald found her way winding her way around the person’s legs and mewing playfully.

The few moments Aleeza had that weren't dedicated to sitting in classes learning were usually spent in the Ravenclaw Commons doing homework or something else that required being in a corner by herself and not being bothered, but today was different. Having grown tired of the familiar scenery that was the common room of the Ravenclaw house, Aleeza went out in search of somewhere else to study. Sometimes the din of people hanging around in the Commons was just to much for the fourth year to handle and she had to get away.
Aleeza didn't know where she as going, but she knew that she had to go somewhere. Starting from the bottom she planned to work her way up to the top in search of a place for her to write. Of course the library was always a choice, but there was something about studying in a place that was meant to be studied in made Aleeza feel just a bit to studious and she didn't know how she felt about that.
It's around here somewhere
Aleeza wasn't sure exactly what it was, but she knew that she didn't recognize the voice coming toward her. The decision was quickly made that the owner of the voice was of no concern to her. Whatever the other girl was looking for had nothing to do with the redhead and she would have liked very much to keep it that way. In fact, she was nearly sure that she had gotten away without the fear of confrontation, but she wasn't so lucky.
Not only was Aleeza nearly knocked from her feet by a girl who was quite obviously paying no clear attention to where she was going, but she was almost tripped by a rather annoying cat who had confused her feet with toys. "Damn." The redhead mumbled as she heard a stuttered apology, reaching out and grabbing a random elbow in an attempt to keep herself upright.

As the girl grabbed her elbow, Celina kept her feet steady so that she wouldn't also tumble over. She figured that wouldn't be the best of all things to land on the girl she had already run into. "I'm really sorry about that again, I was looking back at Emerald's progress...." not that the girl would really know whom Emerald was, but Celina figured that the girl would figure all the same that it was the black cat that had tripped her. "She obviously thought you were someone she knew....sorry about that too...." Celina juts kept apologizing and wishing that she had just stayed in the library or the common room.
Looking around, Celina made sure that there was no one's peering eyes focused in their direction. It was another thing she wanted, someone else to become involved in what was happening. Celina figured that she'd probably freak out, for she was only looking for her brother and not wanting any trouble from anyone. "Are you ok?" Celina asked the girl as she finally got her situated and stuff.

Aleeza's mind rolled back and forth as she steadied her feet and removed her hand from the other girl's arm. All she heard was something about how well the colour green was doing and that she was sorry and the colour green knowing her and...The redhead briefly wondered if she'd fallen and hit her head or the girl before her really was babbling as though she was fighting to save her life with words. Either way she held her hand up in an attempt to silence the other girl.
"I'm fine." She said tightly, not liking the idea that she'd nearly been run over. Taking a second to look at the girl in front of her she realized just how distressed she was and took a deep, calming breath. "You look familiar." The words came out before she had a chance to stop them and once they were in the air there was no way she could take them back. "Ravenclaw house?"

As soon as the girl said that Celina looked familiar, she wished more and more that she had never left the library or that she had at least contacted her brother before going to look for him. All the whispers and the rumors, Celina didn't like being known, and she really didn't like being silenced. Did the girl really put her hand up in front of her face to silence her? Sure, Celina was babbling, but she in Celina's opinion the girl was lucky she didn't just let her drop or kick her while she was down. Not that Celina would do that, but did she really just put her hand up to make her shut up?
Celina didn't know what was more annoying; the fact that the girl knew of her, or the fact that her nasty little hand was shushing her up.
"I'm sure we've never met," was Celina's soft, and barely audible answer to both of the questions the girl asked. She shrugged, knowing that she really couldn't be rude to the girl, but at the same time not feeling as if she owed her any answers either. But then Celina couldn't stand that she hadn't answered what house she was in, so with a small sigh she did so. "Yes, Ravenclaw....why do you ask?" Celina asked in return, almost wondering to herself if she cared.

It took Aleeza a moment to realize exactly why this girl looked familiar to her. Not only had she seen her around the Ravenclaw commons every so often, though it seemed the girl would only risk being seen there if she thought many people weren't around, but she looked remarkably like Professor Jedynak. Maybe they were related...? She'd heard rumors, seen people whisper in the great hall when the brunette in front of her would walk by. There had to be a reason for it.
Realizing that her hand was still up in front of this other girl's face AND the fact that they hadn't exchanged names Aleeza lowered her hand and rested it on her hip. "Me too. I've seen you trying to hide in there. Well, not exactly hide, but make yourself scarce. I'm Aleeza. Montezello. Fourth year." All thoughts of finding somewhere secluded to write left Aleeza's head as she watched the other girl.
She seemed afraid of something, though what it was Aleeza had no idea. It's around here somewhere. The words bounced around the redhead's mind for a second before she thought to bring them up. "What's around here somewhere? Have you lost something? Because finding things is usually easier if you aren't concentrating so hard on finding them."

Celina wasn't about to give up to this young girl that she was looking for her brother. It wouldn't have been a smart move in the slightest, so Celina just shrugged again. "I'm Celina, and I was looking for something that I had lost...but worry not, I'll find it myself sooner or later." Celina nodded as Emerald, now realizing that she in fact did not know the girl, sat down at her owner's feet and looked up at the red head. She had seemed so familiar to the black cat, but maybe it was just because lately, everyone was a blessing if they'd just pet her.
Celina thought about what the girl said over and over to herself. Saw her trying to hide? Making herself scarce? This only worried Celina more. She obviously hadn't been doing that well of a job if some fourth year could seem to place her, not to mention, if she could tell that she had been trying to make herself not available. It almost made Celina wonder how many others had seen her trying to hide herself only to laugh at her or talk about her more behind her back.
Celina filtered her hand through her long, black, hair as she tried to think logically. How many people really cared about what she did? Probably not many, so the fact that this one girl realized was only because she was young and had nothing else better to do. That was probably it....Celina tried to convince herself.
"But, I'm...I'm..." what did she say? That she was busy? It was sure that she was, but did it sound like she was trying to avoid the girl? It was then that out of the corner of her eye, Celina saw Emerald go dashing away from them after something. "Emerald?" Celina called out to her cat only to drop every thought and chase after her through the halls. "Wait! Come back?"
What had Emerald seen to make her run? Celina wondered to herself as she continued to run.

The emotions that played across Celina's face were tell enough that Aleeza had once again said the wrong thing. If she were the type of person to blame her actions on others she would put her inability to talk to people her own age on her sister's shoulders. Micky had been the one to pull her out of school, keep her away from anyone her own age that might find out her 'secret. Micky had been the one that wanted Aleeza to learn about magic, wanted to send her away to Hogwarts so that she could 'get a proper education'. Micky was the one...
Celina's voice pulled Aleeza from her thoughts and she felt a little bad that she wasn't listening. She didn't want to be so caught up in her own head, but she couldn't exactly stop it. If she wasn't caught up in her own head nobody else would try and how safe was it for her to just let these kinds of thoughts sit in her mind without trying to...
And she was doing it again. Doing her best to force herself to focus on the older girl in front of her, who obviously wanted nothing to do with her, Aleeza ran her fingers through her hair. Perhaps today was not the best day to leave the commons in search of something a bit more...secluded. For all she'd done was make not only her own life, but the life of this girl who was just looking for something she'd lost, much more difficult.
Her own silence was starting to annoy her and so she opened her mouth with a slight smirk, ready to finish Celina's sentence. "Bus..." Only to be cut off when the cat took off down the hall on the hunt for something that neither girl had seen.
Emerald?...Wait! Come back!
Not one to be left in the dust, Aleeza was hot on the older girl's heels, running nearly as fast as she could in an attempt at not being left behind. She was tired of being left behind.

Emerald rounded a corner, after something that scurried away from her just as fast. What was it? Celina couldn't tell, only a blur was left in its tracks as it went around corners, dodged in and out of people and around posts that held the ceiling and the floor together, or something like that. Celina wasn't much for checking out the scenery of Hogwarts as she was running after her cat, wondering what in bloody hell the creature was chasing.
This time her eyes were completely open to her surroundings but that didn't stop Celina from finding a chunk of ice that someone had brought in from the outside and slipping on it. "Ah!" she yelped as she found herself trying to balance on the chunk until finally landing at the floor, dizzy and at another's feet. This was just not her day at all, and as Celina sat there she yet again apologized greatly to whomever she had almost run into and looked for Emerald around them. "I'm sorry about that..." she said softly.
"Alizzy, is it? Did you see where Emerald went?" Celina said to the young girl whom had been following her. "Better yet....or what she was following?" Celina asked still as her eyes traveled up the pair of legs she was still sitting at, and smiled when she finally saw whom it was.

This girl can run.
It was the only thought that went through Aleeza's mind as she chased after the girl, not fully satisfied with the way their 'conversation' ended. Not that it could seriously be considered a conversation because all she'd managed to do was aparently offend the girl because she was so perceptive about the things going on around her. Then again, she wasn't really perceptive...
Before she knew what was happening she tripped over Celina, who was now sitting on the floor, and nearly fell face first into the wall next to her. Between that and the mispronunciation of her name, Aleeza was sure this meeting had been a mistake. "It seems as though your cat is chasing after another animal. I'm sure Green will come back soon." She said, leaning back against the wall to catch her breath.
"Has anyone ever told you that you run bloody fast?" She wheezed, resting a hand on her chest. It had been entirely too long since she'd gotten any form of exercise and it was obvious that she needed to start again. "And the name is Aleeza."

Alfonz hadn't been doing anything to spectacular that day but a few odds and ends that the bosses had him running. He would have rather eaten Hippogriff dung, but he did as he was told to make the impression that was needed. Now retiring back to his quarters, Celina was the last one he'd expected to see sliding across the floor right at him on a piece of....was it glass?......and then landing on her bum right on the floor in front of him.
Another girl was running after her, one that he had actually met, and then tripping over her almost smashed right into the wall right next to all three of them. Celina's bright smile only confused Alfonz more. Had she been in search of him? "Celina?" he questioned as she spoke to Aleeza about where Emerald was, and what she was....chasing?.....and then Aleeza too spoke back confirming that Emerald was chasing something and that Celina was a fast runner.
"She ought to be...her broom skills are treacherous," Alfonz smirked at both of the girls, holding his hand out to his sister to help her up from the place in which she had landed. What a day it seemed to be for all of them. "Going somewhere in a rush, are we?" he asked the both of them, not really cared which one decided to answer him, but all the same expecting an answer. There was no need for running in the halls, especially if they could have bowled him over. All he needed was for someone to find him with one of the young students sitting upon him after knocking into him. What an image that would give him at this school that already didn't welcome his presence.

Celina gladly took her brother's hand as he offered it to her to help her up. "Oh, sorry, Aleeza....and my cat's name is Emerald...not Green," Celina giggled and only giggled more when her brother jested about her broom flying skills. She let go of his hand and turned her attention back to the younger Ravenclaw.
"No, no one ever told me I was a fast runner before," Celina really never thought about it, but it had come in handy when both her and Alfonz were children. "Guess that's why I won all of our games? Huh, Alfonz?" Celina smiled at her older brother and turned her way to Aleeza. Their conversation had not gone so well, and now that Celina found her brother she felt better about the day.
"I just wish she wouldn't take off so suddenly like that sometimes," Celina said shrugging defeated like. Looking back toward Alfonz, Celina pointed in the direction Emerald had fled to. "Emerald ran after something that way....I didn't quite get a glance at it....that's where we were goiing."
Celina nodded her head and shrugged.

Aleeza bit her lip and looked down at Celina before looking back up at the professor. Seeing them standing next to each other there was a definate resemblance and the redhead couldn't help but blush at the way she'd met the professor's....sister? Were the rumors true? She didn't want to ask, and yet she couldn't help but stare at the two of them.
"There was a cat." The redhead said randomly, pointing down the hallway. "And something the cat was chasing, and so she started chasing the cat and I started chasing her, but I bloody well forgot why, and now here we are and I can't seem to just shut up today, can I?" She babbled, turning the colour of her hair as she looked down at her hands.
"And now I do believe it's time for me to crawl into a hole and stay there til the snow melts." Aleeza said, turning on her heels quickly and making her way down the hall the same way she and Celina had come running from. No use getting in the way any more than she already was.

And then the girl went. It was kind of....no, really it wasn't sad to see her leave. Though Alfonz had to admit, the girl's curious stare was enough to bowl over laughing. He did no such thing, however, but he did roll his eyes. "Seems I had no reason to worry, after all," Alfonz said to Celina as he watched the girl trudge her way down the hall away from the Jedynak siblings. "Especially if everyone who comes our way retreats as such." Alfonz started to laugh then and he leaned with his back against the wall and sighed in amusement. It was true, however, if those who could get in the way ran, then there was no reason for him to worry much, now was there. Alfonz was feeling more and more comfortable by the day, though Celina's facial expression didn't please him one bit.
"What? Celina, just let her be..." he said to his younger sister, rolling his eyes. "Trust me, I've met that young one. Remember what I've told you about worth....she's not it!" he yelled after Celina as his younger sister took off down the hall after the young Ravenclaw.

Celina wasn't pleased, but this time it was more at her brother and his comments than with the young girl. She had been so awful, and Celina felt so guilty for treating the girl the way she did. When had she become so cold hearted and paranoid? Celina didn't think about it long, and as her brother spoke and laughed, Celina only found herself glaring at him. "Oh, Alfonz....leave it be, will you?" She said as she started running after Aleeza. She easily caught up with her and gently placed her hand on the girl's upper arm, ignoring her brother's muffled calls out to her. At where the two Ravenclaws now stood, it coudn't be made out what Alfonz was saying, which Celina was glad for.
"I'm sorry, Aleeza....I shouldn't have been so mean....I'm Celina Jedynak.....and just a bit paranoid and stuff it seems..." She gave the girl an apologetic smile hoping the girl would stay just a bit longer with her and her brother, though Celina was sure that if she had already met Alfonz she almost wouldn't like him. Alfonz had that way about him....not many people ever liked him after meeting him. Celina just couldn't understand why.
"Please, spend some time with us? Alfonz.....er.....Mr. Jedynak is off, and we're about to sit down to tea....what do you say?"
