Matty Wentworth had done it again. Well, 'it' was probably classified as a potential relationship problems. She was screwed, in other words. The Huffle swore to herself, after the Jynx ordeal, that this would never happen again. Well, guess again? If it wasn't A Huffle to a Gryff, then a Gryff to a Slyth, it was a Slyth to a Gryff. Why had she done it? The girl burst out of the Library, and ran down the stare cases, pacing the Entrance Hall. She couldn't go to the Common Room, Mike might be there. And hell, that girl couldn't face her 'big brother' like this. Leto actually was Mike's little brother. Blood. Yes, that beat simple acceptance. Would he ever forgive her for something like this? So, Matty walked briskly through the Entrance Hall, wiping away the tree streaks from her cheeks. She found herself alone in the Courtyard, and let out a breath of which she had been holding in for too long.
Maybe... just maybe she was blowing this whole thing out of proportion.
Did she regret letting Ryan express his feeling? Did she regret that stupid action for followed through with? No. Yes. Straight answers. God, she was an idiot. And naturally, she blamed herself for this. She didn't even consider that Ryan's feeling could be one-way... and she didn't have to have any part in this. But the weird behavior in classes when he had showed up? It all pointed to this, and Matty didn't know if she could take it. So, the girl, still dressed in her spring gear of short, a singlet, slip-ons and a bandanna, went and seated herself on a stone seat. "Ok... Matt... calm down... this isn't your fault.. is it?"
Honestly, she didn't know the answer.
