HOGWARTS PROFESSOR SUSPENDED
Robert Shaw Removed From position, Magical Education Department in Turmoil
The Daily Prophet has received word of the first direct incident involving Hogwarts since that of the Thorne murder. Coincidentally this too involves a Hogwarts professor. Robert Leekal Shaw, Professor of Herbology at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry was removed from his position Wednesday afternoon following allegations of possible Eleven's involvement.
"Nothing is proven at this time, the temporary suspension of Mr. Shaw is merely proper procedure to prevent a possible risk as the evidence is heard and processed before the Wizengamot Courts." Said Jacob Corrion, Auror Station Chief for the Hogsmeade area. Professor Shaw attended Hogwarts between the years of 1985 and 1992 where he there after became an alumnus of Ravenclaw House. After Hogwarts he studied abroad in Norway, Finland and Denmark where he further pursued his botanical career before returning to England sometime last year.
Mr. Shaw made himself available for brief comment and when asked his opinion of the charge against him replied with the following:
"I do not know the grounds on which these charges were formed, however, if the Ministry feels its time is best spent wasting both my own and theirs, and that of the wizarding public so be it."
Unavailable for comment was Ministorial Liaison Armando Dabbage whom also went to Hogwarts with the Botanist. However eventually we managed to track down Deputy Headmistress Tamis Raynor. Raynor, whom recently gave birth to a baby girl just last month, had this to say:
"Robert Shaw has temporarily been relieved of his teaching responsibilities until this situation is corrected. He is still on Hogwarts Grounds and on the pay roll. Those looking for a job as a Herbology Professor should look elsewhere."
So, with all this given and know what does this mean for Hogwarts? The wizarding world still remembers the act of one Severus Snape many years ago, is this a prelude to something similar? Or perhaps is Mr. Shaw right and this is all another goose chase like the Thorne murder turned into? As always keep reading the Daily Prophet for more information.
