Dark Mark Lights Up Hogwarts Abductions Rumors continue to spread across Britain as news that the Dark Mark - once highly feared symbol used by the Dark Wizard Lord Voldermort -- appeared over Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry yesterday. Sources gather that at around six o'clock in the evening of May 15th, 2007 Greenhouse Four on Hogwarts Grounds erupted with flames from within. Shortly after that the Dark Mark was shot into the air. The fire was contained and damage minimized as the Hogwarts Staff quickly doused the flames. Recently gathered information eluded that a student had been caught in the fire, but these allegations were unfounded. Hogwarts refused to comment if a student was present and if s/he started the fire which was found to have magical origins. The appearance of the Dark Mark has much of the wizarding community in up roar. "Its these kids today!" Penelope Harris, an elderly witch of Hogsmeade proclaimed, "All of these 'elevens' running around propagandizing something they don't even understand! Hogwarts is full of them. It was only a matter of time." Madam Harris might be closer to the truth than we realize. Highly placed sources inform us that merely a month ago a warning against muggle-borns appeared on Ravenclaw Tower; an event that Hogwarts conveniently failed to disclose from the wizarding community. And this is not the only odd occurrence to happen since students returned from their Holiday Break. "Tristian Howard, a boy in my class disappeared for a while," states a fellow Gryffindor housemate, "He just stopped showing up for classes and no one knew where he was. When he came back he acted like he was never gone. I didn't think much about it at the time. But this was not all. It seems as if he was not the only one on campus acting unusually. A Hufflepuff student whom preferred to remain unnamed had something to add, "Well, Professor Davenport didn't show up for a detention one day and Mr. Hailey, the Librarian, seemed concerned about it. But she can be odd like that sometimes." A professor shirking her duties, or something more? And now, Andrew Thornton, a Ravenclaw Fifth Year has reportedly gone missing from Hogwarts the very same night as the Dark Mark appeared. "Hogwarts is a large school with many passages," Fiona Ticloon, Headmistress, informed reporters, "He is a prefect that was probably making rounds and got caught up during lock down. The school is being searched for him now even as we speak." Indeed it is. The Ministry Aurors have been swarming the school since the incident and assure the Wizarding Community that all will be well. But one can not help but wonder what all this means. Are Elevens getting bolder? More Serious? Are they abducting their fellow students? Are they more than we suspect they are? Hogwarts and the Ministry refused to make further comment at this time but our reporters (article continues on pg. 5)

THERES A FIRE!The Hufflepuffs gather to the response of the school-wide lock-down in their common room. Things look a bit messy here. Perhaps shouting "theres a fire" was not the best way to start off. Oh well. A State of EmergencyLeave it to the clever and collective Ravenclaws to stay calm during a lock down. Most have gathered that something is going on and have taken it into swing, though Drew's absence is noted almost immediately. Where is that boy? And Arianna too.
