Since Nic out there conveniently reminded me...
In honor of the wonderful class of 2007, as well as future graduating classes (retaliations can be sent to my inbox--and yes this is also on my MySpace)
It was the Best and Worst of Times
To start anew you must leave the past But at what price, and will it last? Will it be better than it was before, Or will it carry the price of war? Friends are gone, and long away Some remain but barely stay Keeping close what you hold dear Drown not in your sorrow nor your fear Moving on, the destroyer of hope But somehow we all find a way to cope
As this final years draws to a close I wonder where I have to go What will I lose, and will I gain Enough to cancel out the pain? Can I really pick back up from this? I've done it before but not with such risk I cannot see what lay ahead I only hope it holds no dread From this point on I can't regret The "good", the "bad" and the "not happened yet"
So here's to the moments that made twelve years grand A toast to all in my friendship clan I wish you luck and good amends And all much love to you I send And to all of those I leave behind You'll soon know how it feels, this bind. I hope that you remember your friends the same And continue on to play this game...

And another from me... Note: Acronym.
Stem the Tide
Tear drops fall into a pool of dreams Hail the hero of hope arises Each drop, ripples a new beginning Break the tyranny of love falsified Only through compassion can society bond, and Under no circumstance shall that bond break Never forget disbelief can be pacified Dare to be the one to take a stand Arise and claim your right to live Reside not in other's shadows Your life is yours alone to lead Lift your head and look above Into the vast and endless blue Nothing is limited by speech and thought Each dream you hold can come true

Empty Hands
Sitting here in the hot-seat Million dollars on the line I could've stopped four rounds ago But I couldn't face my pride And now I'm stuck here with thirty seconds left
Hey Hostman I could do with my lifeline's back I didn't mean to waste my call Didn't want to take the fall Now I've come so far
I've got no audience I've got no friend I've got no fifty-fifty chance I've got nothing left to fall back on It's all or nothing All or nothing
My time limit's running out The window's closing I don't know what to do Don't know what to pick They all seem so logical I've got fifteen seconds left
Ten: Oh what do I choose? Nine: I've got everything to lose Eight: Nothing to gain Seven: Just pick one Six: I can't Five: It's almost over Four: I don't know! Three: A, no C... Two: My final answer? One: Ye-...no...GAH! Buzzer: Loser.
I went all the way to a million And came home, with nothing All because I couldn't... Make up my own damn mind. Because it was all or nothing... All or nothing All for nothing...

This is just something I threw together.. its really not very good... but figured I'd post it anyway.. double or nothing (names useless, I know) What options do you hold when you love one, but your heart yearns for another? What feelings embrace you as you desperately try to cover A steady relationship, steady ground and yet when you see them your heart does pound Can't shake the thoughts, can't hide away Over and over you say and say 'I just wont speak to them today' But when the moment show's itself, you place those words back on the shelf For they draw you in, knocks your mind about It's enough to make you want to shout. Yet no mater how hard you try, it seems you'll love them till the day you die But the others there, your their's, their yours so you hide your feelings behind closed doors But still the question remains, what to do, when you heart, yearn's for two

Awwww I love it Krissy!!
This is something I wrote like 9 months ago. Out of all my poetry it's probably my favorite, I don't really know why though.
It's called Fallen Leaves
The Fallen Leaves The leaves fell; As automn struck; A beautiful end; A lazy sigh; As what could have been is saved for another season; Another person; As God tore me away from what I held onto the most; And I ; Losing all that was valuable; Just to have fate teach me a lesson; Wisdom struck me today; As I realized his heart belonged to someone else; Another lazy sigh; The wind rustled my hair today; As I fought for the strength to not to drowned; Under the tide of memories striking my soul; Like the loneliest chord; A single melody; He saved it for a rainy day; Not knowing which world to choose; Confusion hurt him; A harsh gust threw him back today; As his simple dream went unnoticed; And he; Forced to move on; A common path; That we both share; That must be walked alone; Individually; As he's left with pain; Of not being with the one he loves; And I; Left with the pain of not being with the one I love; Thankfullness and change; Or is it change and then thankfullness?; Does destiny deny blessing that we may change?; Or does wisdom deny change that we may count all we have; Just to save it for a rainy day; Or just to save it because; We embrace each other as one; Then we pull away forever; Seperated by a gentle wedge; The end of the begining; Like the tears of a 17 year old; Losing his first true love; On the verge of manhood; Yet praying for childhood to last a second longer; Praying for that last second of simplicity; With the first true love he lost; Like the tears of a 16 year old; Losing his first true love; On the verge of breaking; Yet praying for the strength to keep going; Praying for that last ounce; That he may hold his first true love; Funny how life violates your happiness; Funny how life forces you to move on; Just to give you a greater joy and happiness; Pain in between; That we may appreciate the next drop of love I will love you forever; Like the great oak trees; A constant; My leaves however will change; They'll fall; Having been violated from tradition and pain; Just waiting for a spring; A way; As you scheme for your own way; As your eyes twinkle against the light with love for my own; And burn with passionate love for another; May God give you that love's gentle breath; That you may see spring; I still love you;

Enough By: Me XD ******
Body parts and broken hearts were never all that nice perhaps blooming love and skies above will make your mind think twice..
Sadness and sorrow with thoughts of tomorrow were never really my thing turning to stone cause I'm all alone doesn't exactly make my heart sing
Hatred for you won't make me turn blue, but rather, a smoldering red. By the tone of your voice, it was clearly your choice to say those words that you said
So get away, don't you dare say you ever cared about me You've shown your stuff and done enough go on and let me be..
I wrote this today and I rather like it. What do you think? XD

Seeing as no one commented it, I think it's a right grand piece of work. Very emotional and moving, kudos all around. And now, that said I believe I'm overdue -- although a couple of you have probably seen it already.
The Devil Rides by Moonlight
Speak of the Devil and the Devil comes He's got your soul marked on his list He'll make you a deal you can't refuse And then your mortal life is his
Tells you his offer can do you wonders Says you've got nothing at all to lose That you can have that house of dreams Like a drunkard can kick his booze
So next times there's a knock on your door Watch for the glint in the salesman's eye Because it could be him in the middle of the night Trying to get lucky before the next sunrise

Yay! I found a slightly old poem I haven't posted here.
Our Eyes Stung
Do not die in my arms, Instead, dance rapidly for joy, jut out your arms, Swing your head, but swing not low.
Your eyes may sting, your lungs will have no capacity for breath, everything industrial will want you, your soul, your body. Choose to accept it or reject it. But do not die in my arms. Dance for joy.
I, too, want to claw angrily for vitality, I want the heaviness to crush me Like a punishment undeserved. If only I could let the pain soar through as I fall to my knees. Though I did not fall to die. I fall to feel joy.
Please my friend my enemy my loved one Our eyes may sting Our scars may burn... But do not die in my arms Dance for joy.
