There is honestly one word that can describe the way that Matilda Wentworth looks and dresses. Fresh. She is pretty much one of those girls who can look gorgeous 98% of the time, without much effort. And to add to that fact, she's not totally and utterly vain. The teenager is very much into the whole fashion scene, she can make most daggy outfits look pretty good. Matty has a good fashion sense. This ranges from vintage clothes, some designer outfits, to straight off the rack. She prefers clothes that look nice, but look vintage and unique. She's never one to follow the trends, so the speak, but in most cases Matty likes the looks of them. It's as simple as that.
Down to the nitty gritty features, Matilda is generally described as gorgeous. She hasn't got seductive eyes, or lush lips that make girls hot. Nor does the teenager has narrow cheekbones or a classic face to make her beautiful. She's honestly just gorgeous. Sure, not the constant hot-topic of school, but known well enough as attractive. Matty's skin tone is fair and creamy in complexion, which suits her just fine. The girl has naturally brown hair, which changes from an chocolate brown, to a hazelnut brown in different lights. Her hair is quite full, being cut in choppy layers down past her shoulders, with a stylish fringe to match. Matty has rosy cheeks that are dotted with a few freckles, a cute nose, straight teeth surrounded by suiting lips. The girl's eyes are lush Forrest green with a few specks of brown, outlined with thick dark lashes. Really, Matilda Wentworth is very confident with her style and looks.Personality
Matilda's look tends to label her as your classical bitch. The girl who has perfect skin, great hair and a nice sense of clothing? Of course others are going to judge her in one way or another. But when you get down to the core, Matty really isn't one of those people who enjoy gossiping and bitching about others. Of course she's going to make the slip and vent some feelings about someone now and then, but she doesn't make a habit of it. She loves attention, it really is that simple.
Matty isn't your typical 'I'm going to act dumb to get noticed' or your 'I know all the answers' kind of girl. She couldn't live with herself if she was that blatantly attention-seeking person. Lets just say the Wentworth girl does it with class. She's the kind of person you want at your party. The kind of girl you can stop to chat with and generally walk away feeling happier than you had been a minute ago. She's a great conversationalist, and has a sarcastic sense of humor. Matty is some what of a rebel, if you want to stereotype her like that, against the general judgment of teenage girls. She makes the effort to be seen, and just doing her natural thing after that. Matilda is a very charming and elegant person, and she can be the kind of girl who doesn't mind speaking up to get a laugh.
The girl is a social butterfly, and is typically easy to get along with. She does speak her own opinions, but is open-minded enough to let others have their fair say. She fits into most "scenes" or "cliques", simply because she isn't a fan of keeping one certain label. In Matty's mind, it's funner, and easier to let people see what she wants them to see about her personality. She isn't a fake, so to speak, but Matty just isn't one to pick and chose, judge and stereotype. She's also a very friendly, caring, and understanding person. Matilda is someone you can trust with your secrets, someone you can go to for advice, without feeling threatened or unsafe about it. She adores to help people, and aspires to become a Healer or something along that line of work once she's finished her schooling.
So besides being a socialite, Matilda has got to have her faults, right? Well, her most obvious one is the fact that she can get jealous. Whether it's being blown off for something or someone else, or getting a worse mark that someone she had been wishing to top, Matty doesn't take it too heavily, nor does she enjoy it. But instead of bitching, as she isn't very fond of as already said, the girl bottles it all up. She just keeps pushing it aside, letting whatever negative emotions pie up inside. Then, she's crack or have a melt down, go through half a chocolates, and its all over again. But then, it'll probably start again. Who knows? It's just her actions and reaction trade.
Coming hand in hand with jealousy is the fact that the teenager likes getting what she wants. This ties in with the fact that she's also competitive. Receiving second best or second hand doesn't usually put Matty in a good mood, for she yearns for the best, the most brilliant things. Although, I guess this could have one, maybe two good points to it. Saying this, Matilda doesn't accept her own work if it's shabby or scrappy. Only the best will do, so that as a result, she had hope to be given praise in return. The other is her taste in friends and boyfriends, only the genuine ones will do.History
Childhood
Matty was born on the 23rd of October, to Rebekah and Cedric Wentworth. They were your typical two parent and new baby type of family. Residing in Old London Town on England, in a small cottage house in a Forest on the outskirts of town, there wasn't much that complicated their lives. Cedric worked as a restaurant chef and part-time manager. Rebekah held the magical genes of the family, being a Medi Wizard for the magical folk community. However, her duty called her to travel abroad for a few months every year, which wasn't a problem, given Matty had care and her father wasn't taking too many shifts in Rebekah's absence.
Over all, the only Wentworth child had a lovely up bringing. Lots of happy memories, and experiences. During that time, she had one certain best friend, Daniel Parker. Being a year older, he was still a great friend. The two spent endless hours playing in the snow, or grass, or down at the lake. They built their own tree house with the help of both their fathers, and had annual camp outs in the forest in which they lived. Really, Matilda had an innocent life. It was all fine up until she was seven years old that things changed.
Matty was just starting first grade when her mother was sent to India to deal with an outbreak of a magical epidemic. Generally Medi Wizards were only sent for a month at a time, in order to keep their health up to tip top condition, but one month blended into one and a half, and by the second month passed, the Wentworth's were without word or voice of Rebekah. Within a few days of Cedric pressing this issue to the Ministry, it was confirmed that Rebekah Wentworth was no longer part of their world, she had passed a day before her husband inquired about her where abouts. It was obviously a crushing next few months for the daughter and father, an event that sent the two into their own shells, taking a further year to recover from the incident.Adolescence
After the death of her mother, Matilda somewhat shrunk into a shell. She only really associated with her father and friend Daniel, not bothering to repeat the story or how she felt over and over again with strangers whom didn't have an effect on her life. Sure, she still had friends and the likes of such, but she didn't bother them with her emotions. Daniel was her real pillar of support during this time, he had always cared for Matilda, and it really shone through during her up until age ten. It was at age ten that the girl's father started to date again. He was the promoted manager of his own restaurant in Old London.
Most of the women he dated Matty wasn't fond of - not because they weren't nice people, but merely because she missed the image of her mother. A little before her eleventh birthday, the Wentworth's, now yet again only two, no extensions of girlfriends, decided to renovate their small cottage home. They built an upstairs section, complete with new a do-over of their downstairs room. It was rather like one of those snow-lodges, wooden, new, yet comfortable for the two. During which time, the young girl discovered the wand that had been her motherers, and it was finally revealed to her what her mother had been, a witch. So the letter from Hogwarts that year didn't come as a total surprise, as her father had been putting away money, if that day did come. Matilda therefore spent her first years at Hogwarts breaking out of her shell, and exploring the possibilities of the magical world.Teenager
After years of slow and steady recovery, Matty turned out to be a more modern version of her deceased mother. She became a bubbly, vibrant, spontaneous and lovable sort of girl. In her third year, the girl joined the Quidditch team, which opened the opportunity that led her to becoming the Quidditch Captain in years to come. Also in that third year, her fathered began to date one Ellie, whom had two sons, Jamie and Oliver. Over the years, Matilda made friends, loves, and losses. She dated Jynx for about six months, before their relationship was brought to an end over a misunderstanding. Devon became a close and vital friend to Matty, his gorgeous personality taking her by surprise. The girl dated Leto Rolen in her fourth year, who's older brother Michael became Matty's adopted Hufflepuff brother. He was there for her through everything, and the girl doubts she would have made it this far if not for him.
Come her fifth year, the teenager met Emeric and Tianne, two people who were destine to become big impacts in her life. Tianne took all of five minutes to become her best friend. They were so common and fitted together perfectly, these days, Tee is like Matty's other half. Some have even claimed the two girls are joined at the hip. Seth and Ryan also came through, joining Tianne and Matty to be a group of four great friends. Ryan stole the Hufflepuff's heart for a few months, as she enjoyed a summer romance with him. But once the two left for Australia, Matty and Tianne were left to themselves again. It was in October that Cedric and Ellie married, making Matty the youngest of three siblings, now one big, happy, and complete family. In November of that same year, the teen managed to land herself with one Emeric Troy, a fourth year at the time. They had been rocky friends at first, but that seemed to change with a game of truth or dare, where their inner personalities were exposed, and a kiss to boot. They dated in secret for a few months, keeping things under wraps for their safety, yet these days they're out in the open, a loving and happy teenage couple.
Really, Matilda does have an awesome life. Wonderful friends, Quidditch Captain, a gorgeous boyfriend, good grades and a wholesome family? She is lucky, and not a day goes by that Matty takes things for granted anymore.[/size][/blockquote]
