January 16th 10:00 A.M.
Sixteen hours. Hiro thought to himself with a sigh. The bells had chimed ten and Hiro had already run out of things to do. With less people to worry about and professor Raynor back Hiro was able to get some sleep that night. He had already made a line of silverware marking off the reach of the armor on the main floor and was now sitting on the steps.
Hiro knew that Drew wouldn't forget about them on the inside but after half a day he was going mad. It wouldn't have taken this long for the ministry to plan an assault to counter the Deva. With all the Aurors in the area it would be a simple task. Sixteen hours since the two closest people to him had vanished like a puff of smoke. Since then there had been no changes, no news, no changes, nothing. Hiro had reached his limits, after sixty three hours he was going to do something desperate.

((Since I haven't posted in a long time, due to the fact that I like to have few posts going on at one time... and the other one is taking a while, I will post...))
Devin slowly paced out into the hallway. With the past events of the last 24 hours doing a very unnessicary highlight real, he decided to get a break from the clutter of the Great Hall. Of course the return of Tamis was both a great turn events and a terrible one... well for Brady at least, but little was gained for her captivity. Though he had a strong distaste for the woman, he knew she was worth more than 6 students, years at least. If it were his choice he would have demanded the first and second years were freed. But she made her choices for a reason. Then there was the almighty highlight, the one he hated most.
Of course, he had choosen to be the one person to pester the Deva, testing limits, throwing out threats, and of course at some point he would be bitten in the... well thats not the problem. The problem was waking up in a cramped broom closet with your arch-rival waiting your awake on the other side of the door. Who wouldn't love to wake up to a head-ache only to push it on to a migrane. Not to say Raynor was all bad. She had let him out of the closet, and she was an inspiration to the students. Deep down the truth was that he didn't nessicarily hate her, just she got on his nerves. Sighing at the watching eyes he made his way to the steps finding Hiro McVeil upon them.
"Well Mr. McVeil mind if I keep you company?" he said in a soft voice. He could tell he was now stuck here alone, just from the little information he had on the boy. And Devin knew what it was like to be alone, especially here, where the majority of the school either hates you, or doesn't trust you at all.

Seanna had been out in the entrance hall that morning, still watching the it people and she had found out that they had schedules. It was never the same person in the same spot. Well, it could have been, but the clothes were always different and she was banking on that they weren't the same person in the same position all the time.
Seanna had again found time to get away from her younger years and she needed time away just so she could clear her head of the worrying thoughts that kept crawling back inside. Only one thing she had noticed the last time she went back to check on her younger years. Lianna was missing and Seanna had no idea where she was and her panicky mood was starting to come back again.
Spotting Hiro sitting on the steps, Seanna wandered over to him wondering if he had any idea where Lianna had went to. The sixth year knew that Lianna did hang around Drew now and again and perhaps Lianna decided to visit the older Ravenclaw? Not that Seanna could see Lianna doing that... but Lianna was turning out to be a surprise package especially after she had told her that she sneaked out to the yule.
Then Seanna spotted the older man and the name escaped her and so had the face. Who was he? Seanna had never seen him in her life before, but his voice had carried and he seemed to know Hiro. Getting closer, Seanna frowned, unsure if she should ask, but knowing the only way to stop worrying would be to ask, though that would only be if they had seen Lianna about. Then she could start worrying again. "I... sorry to interrupt, but have either of you seen Lianna around?"

Ever since the six left Hiro had to start back at square one as far as his plans went. With most of his patients and thinking power lost in the nearly three days anything he came up with would be sloppy and impulsive. He just didn't have it in him to come up with something better. It may have been fate or just plan luck that led his only lead to a semi-decent plan to him, professor Brady. If he could get this man a wand he was sure he could plan a two staged assault against the Deva.
"Not at all professor. Actually I had a question for you." Hiro began but before he could get to it a huffle prefect joined the conversation. "Lianna left with the others, she hasn't been seen for sixteen hours."
The six of them leaving was the biggest news to hit since the Deva had taken over, he thought everyone knew about it.

Devin smiled, lightly, before speaking, "Ask away, though I will tell you the truth, your not going to be able to transfigure the walls of the Great Hall to free the rest of your classmates." He awaited the question, when another voice broke in. A girl he hadn't noticed walking towards them had spoken, and he could tell from the badge that she was a Hufflepuff prefect. "Ms. Maylorn was the first student called I believe. Surely you were there when it all happened."
The return of Tamis Raynor was a surge of hope for the captives, and the fact that this girl wouldn't have heard the names she called was suprising. He would have actually taken into more thought what she could be doing when it all occured, if it weren't the curiousity of what the blind boy next to him wished to ask. Though he was hoping it wasn't some desperate escape plan, not that he didn't entertain the thought. It was quite obvious that they stood little shot, especially with the murderers stationed around them. At first sign of revolt he knew just about any of them wouldn't think twice before killing an innocent first year.

"Lianna and the others left?" Seanna echoed, the worrying starting up with a hint of confusion rolled into together as well. This was news to her. The sixth year had been keeping to herself of late and just mainly sticking to the Huffle table, but there were times when she had gone out to the entrance hall and she must've missed Lianna and whoever else had left when she had been out there.
"No... " Seanna trailed off, slowly. "Sorry to interrupt again, but what happened?" Suddenly feeling like a third wheel and that she shouldn't be here, but she had to ask the question, the worrying she was doing was nudging her panic buttons and she had to find out what had happened, so she could quench the thought that somehow Lianna had been forced to leave, or possibly hurt.
There where other questions of course, like who had left, why that had left, but she figured asking the main question of what had happened could give her more information on the whereabouts for Lianna. Knowing that Lianna had left and not knowing where she had gone to, was making her worrying worse.

Devin was walking through the Entrance Hall toward the empty classrooms. She missed Gail, who had not felt pity for her and had cheered her up. The Ravenclaw was gone, gone with the other five students Professor Raynor had chosen, and she was even more frightened, now that the girl who supported her was gone.
Devin did not understand why their Defense teacher had traded herself for six students. It did not seem to have done any good for the other 200 students still trapped in the Great Hall. She understood even less why Gail, neither a muggleborn nor a younger student, had been chosen to leave. What she really wanted was to have gone with the six students. She wanted to go home.
As she passed in front of the Grand Staircase, she heard a girl ask about the six students who left. She stopped and looked. The girl was probably Gail’s age, wore Hufflepuff robes, and looked vaguely familiar as a prefect. Shanna, she thought her name was. She was talking to an older man, likely a teacher, and another boy her age.
The prefect also looked rather distraught at the idea of Lianna, to whom the girl seemed rather close, and Devin knew how she felt. Her eyes were tearing up again at the thought of the six students, especially Gail, all gone from the rest. The little girl stepped up to the three older people and said, “They left. They’re all gone. Professor Raynor said they got to go. They took a portkey, and nobody knows where they are.” Her eyes were bright with tears, and her voice was melancholy.

(sorry school's been a pain)
Hiro was about to answer the question when another voice entered the conversation. She was younger than the others but he didn't recognize her. It sounded like she was down like the rest of them. Panicked, depressed and stir-crazy three emotions that wouldn't help their situation.
"It's true professor Raynor came back and exchanged herself for six students." Hiro's voice was calm, his best friend and girlfriend both got to leave in the exchange. But the stress was getting to his head and it had some unfortunate results. "Wait...professor Raynor was in Azkaban...how could she get here?"

(my turn to say sorry)
All this information was making it's way around Seanna's rather crowded brain and with the new arrival of one of her Huffle's, the older girl had to blink and wonder where she had came from. The younger girl looked vaguely familiar and Seanna should've knew her name, but she didn't... she should've known about Lianna before now too, but she didn't know that, either.
Seanna just hoped that wherever Lianna was, she was safe and was with people that would take care of her. Seanna knew Raynor was smart and she had to give it to the Professor when she heard of the Portkey and the exchange for the students to be released for herself. It was a smart move, but then also a tricky one. Seanna shook her head, so many things were floating around in her brain, but yet she shook them off and listened to what Hiro had just said.
"They dropped the charges on her?" Seanna ventured to Hiro, still thinking the ministry was full of loons for arresting her anyhow. Arresting for what Seanna thought was for going to the Ministry to argue about DADA being taken away from the school curriculum. Or well, she thought that was the reason for the arrest. Seanna had been known to be wrong on occasions.

The boy and Shanna were talking about Raynor. Azkaban was mentioned, and the young girl’s eyes widened. The little Huffle remembered the day Raynor wasn’t at school. She was confused and a bit scared for the professor. They said some things at the time about what happened, but she hadn’t been able to figure out what was going on. All she knew was that the nice and slightly scary lady who taught Defence was gone.
And now she was back. Apparently from Azkaban. Devin shivered and pulled the cloak—Gail’s cloak, now she thought of it—tighter around her shoulders. And then Shanna said something else Devin hadn’t known.
“Charges? Why? What happened to Professor Raynor?” Her voice seemed more scared, a bit more panicked. The lady seemed nice, and Devin couldn’t imagine her doing something worth that horrible prison. Sometimes she didn’t want to know things, more concerned with her art than adult issues, but as the baby of the family and now the school, nobody told her anything either. She wanted to know what happened, and she hoped these people would treat her as twelve, not five.
((And now I get to say sorry too. Sorry about misspelling your name, Seanna. Just trying to make a point.))

Hiro was tired of holding back his punches by this point. He had covered up so many things with the curious younger Raven students that he just was going to sugar coat things on his time off as well. Of course now that Drew and Ari were gone Hiro was the only student leader for ravenclaw so technically he didn't get time off any more. In either case though he was drained and tired of making things sound perfect all the time.
"She attacked the minister of magic and was sent to Azkaban immediately." It may not have been how the younger student wanted to hear it but that was what happened. "By the way I'm Hiro." His introduction was a lot less formal than what it normally was but he had a lot of things on his mind.
