17 January 11:30pm
Fyona stayed near the big pile of rubble that used to be the doors to the Great Hall. Her heart was racing and all noise seemed to have softened while everything else slowed down. Was she really going to do this? Why yes. Yes, she was. She wasn't doing this alone though. There was Scorpius and Shari right behind her. After a quick run in with the Deva members Fyona had finally had it. She did not want to stay in this castle anymore, and she certainly did not want to be in the presence of those people anymore. Fyona swallowed and she could feel the lump that had lodged in her throat, quickly go away. She took this as a cue and she stood up, picking her way through the rubble into the Entrance Hall. She had seen students shuffling to and from the Great Hall, but had never actually done it herself. She had been too afraid to step outside of the room which she saw as her one sanctuary, but now....Now she felt more than ready to traverse the ground floor of the school she had once seen as a safe a haven. Not anymore. Nope, those days are history. With the arrival of the Deva Fyona did not feel so good here anymore. She did not feel so care free, and while it bothered her, she knew that it was the way she truly felt.
Walking in in a line towards the other side of the floor Fyona glanced at the two suits of armor by the front doors of the castle. Silver, gleaming, and evil looking. They no longer looked like a wondrous thing to her, and found that she despised them. The auburn haired girl looked around her again to make sure that there were no Deva members around. Or anyone else that might be in cahoots with the faceless people. Shari, Scorpius, and herself had discussed everything they would do and so she would do it.
Carefully going up to the suite on the left Fyona no longer felt fear, but something else. Something that she couldn't quite describe but it made her heart flutter in a... A good way. A nice way. It wasn't until she got within a two feet of it that the sword it was holding swung in an arch in the air. Taken aback, Fyona leapt back with a yelp. Holy hell! she thought as the sword swung down with a clatter unto the floor. Moving the sword back into place the suite was still once more. "What in Merlin's name?!....What are we going to do now?" she asked her two companions. With her new found bravery shattered, Fyona clutched the mirror in her pocket. Art....

Scorpius was sitting at the rubble with Sharivah and Fyona. They were thinking of finally getting out of this place. He had hope in the middle of what seemed like a hopeless event. They could possibly get out and never think of it again. He was feeling paranoid though. He kept looking around and there was no faceless people paying attention to them Do they know what we are doing? He felt for his wand in his pockets then he remembered that the one Deva member had it and did not give it back. CRAP. He had seen Fyona get up so he mimicked her and stood up himself. From there he could see their plan come to life.
He followed closely behind Fyona as they crossed the floor to the other side. There he saw the silver, shimmering suits of armor, yet something looked different about them. They look different, but what could it be? Is it a new coat of polish, no doesn't look like it. Oh my now I see. They look evil. This concerned Scorpius a lot. He saw Fyona inch closer to the one on the left after looking around for something, he could only assume Deva.
There he saw as Fyona got closer the suit of armor lift up its sword and swing it directly at Fyona. "Fyona" he yelled hoping she had seen what it was doing. Then he saw her jump out of the way. His heart lightened and he felt like he could barely breath.
"OK so apparently these things aren't going to want to be touched. So we need a way of getting into them without them noticing," he said knowing that this was going to be very hard. "I don't have my wand the faceless woman has it and Sharivah doesn't have her wand either. How bout you Fyona do you have yours? Maybe we should go back into the Great Hall and try to figure something out." He felt utter disappointment at this time and clutched the letter in his pocket. I'll get this out one day. I won't forget about my father.

Shari was, essentially, speechless. This move toward finding a way out was altogether somewhat against her moral principles, and yet that nagging voice within coaxed her. It was alright, it must be done, it must be alright no matter what that other half of her brain said!
Fyona caught her attention, the sword of the suit of armor tried to execute her friends! "Oh no you don't!" Shari breathed through her clenched teeth. Seeing only red, she took a charge at the vengeful suit of armor, brushing just past an equally stunned Scorpius (by her viewing). An ill-calculated move?...

Fyona was about to answer Scorpius when Shari flew past her.
She involuntarily let go of the mirror as Shari dashed towards the suit of armor that had only tried to strike her a moment before. Is she crazy?! Or is she just blind?! Fyona thought as she grabbed for Shari’s robes before she could get too close to the darn thing. One hand caught nothing but air and the other felt the fabric of the Raven's robes but there was no definite catch. Moving forward to catch up with her friend Fyona again tried to grab Shari's robes and was rewarded by two fistfuls of clothing. Unfortunately, they were still too close to the suit of armor. Again the sword came up in the air, only this time Fyona could hear the thud of her heart in her ears. She was scared, and she was pretty sure she was about to die, or at least be in for a lot of pain.
Something clicked inside her head though, that made her push Shari away from her and in doing so she pushed herself back as well. The sword went crashing down unto the floor for a second time, only it did not become immobile again. It turned to Shari, who was the closer of the two girls, and began to swing at it. Only it seemed to Fyona to that it wasn't exactly sure where the girl was. Then a little spark went off in her head. It has no eyes! Still, what was she going to do? The thing was made out of metal, and the three kids standing there were not. The auburn haired girly plunged her hand into her robes again searching for the safety of the mirror. Only instead her hand caught unto something else. Thin and long. Thin and long?..... Oh! For someone who was supposed to be smart, she was awfully slow.
"Expelliarmus," she said pointing her wand at the offender. The sword flew out of its hands and fell with a loud noise on the ground. That was the first spell that had come to her mind, and it seemed to have been a good thing to say for right now. Something that was bothering her in addition to all of this was the noise they were making. So her next spell was inspired by her fear and paranoia that someone was going to come out at any moment and catch them. "Immobulus." That spell being one of the many helpful things in this castle to for her in her first few weeks here was an even greater help now. The suit of armor ceased its blind, sword less, rampage towards Shari and kind of just stood there.
Fyona wasn't paying attention to this though. She had used that spell so many times to stop straying cats, and other things that planned on biting, scratching, or causing some other harm to her that she knew it would hit. Right now she was wondering how well Shari was doing. “You okay?”

You okay? Was she?
Well Shari had been valiantly saved by the Slytherin, and somehow she never associated valiance and saving people with Slytherin House. Now her thoughts were changed in 360 rotation formation. She sat up dazed. The hall spun but at least it was the only inhuman object moving. She nodded feebly. There was still a fire in her brain. She wanted to hurt something. She wanted to do some physical damage (for whatever reason) to that suit of armor. The room slowed in its orbiting 'round her head. She began to see things clearer than before. Something gleamed in the corner of her visibility... THE SWORD! She rushed to her feet, which wasn't very graceful as she moved all her limbs and appendages at once, which resulted in a face-plant in the cold stone floor. It did not repel her, though, as she sprang forth and charged for the sword.
As soon as she had a firm grip on the sword, she crazily stormed at the immobile armor, screaming a charge cry as she went. To anyone who thought they were having a tough time, Sharivah's display of quixotic valiance must have been a very comical break to the otherwise dramatically/horrifically stagnant air.

Scorpius watched Sharivah run past him and Fyona. He saw Fyona drop what looked like a mirror and turn towards Sharivah. As Fyona moved Scorpius ran up and pocketed the mirror as quick as he could. He heard the cold metal hit the floor with a loud clank and then out of the corner of his eye he saw the suit of armor just stop.
Fyona must have saved Sharivah from the sword. He was surprised because she was a slytherin and he heard from his father that the slytherin house didn't have that many nice people in it. Maybe she really doesn't belong in slytherin he thought.
Then Sharivah clambered up from the ground and ran across and grabbed the suit of armor's sword. She started swinging the sword and run violently to the suit of armor. "Fyona stop her. We can't damage the suits if we want to use them." he said aloud, without thinking.
He walked over to the other side of Fyona. With their backs turned towards the other suit of armor he didn't see the other suit start to move. He heard the clank of the suits foot hit the floor behind him. He turned around and saw the suit of armor raise his sword.
"Fyona look out," he yelled. He grabbed a hold of Fyona's waist and pulled her out of the way of the sword with him. "Maybe you should stun this one too Fyona."

((Fyona never took out her mirror. It is, in fact, still in her pocket.))
So everyone was okay. Everyone was alright. Good. That was, everything would have been good if it had not been for Fyona completely forgetting about the sword she flung from the armor's gloved hands. The same sword that Shari now picked up and rushed towards the statuesque suit of armor. What the-, she thought, but it was a thought that wouldn't be completed.
"Fyona stop her. We can't damage the suits if we want to use them."
As her luck was she ended up trying to escape with her over achieving, vengeful friend, and the guy who could do nothing to help the situation. Fyona was the only one with a wand, and therefore the only one who could stop the magical suits from seriously injuring them. Fyona pointed her wand at Shari first, but before she could say anything, Scorpius was by her side. She was too busy trying to think about Shari that Fyona did not hear the suit of armor coming up behind them. It was a good thing the boy had; otherwise they would be on the floor. She felt arms being placed around her waist, and her whole body being lifted from the floor. All Fyona saw was a whiz of shiny metal before she was placed back on the ground.
"Immobulus!" she shouted, with her wand pointed towards the new suit of armor that was causing all the trouble. Immediately it stopped where it was, with its gilded sword swung in an awkward angle. Sighing, Fyona looked down at her waist where Scorpius' hand still were, and tried to stop herself from blushing. Not even Art had touched her like that. Footsteps reminded her of something. Shari! Oh my goodness! Turning Fyona shouted at her friend, "Immobulus." Just in time too. Shari was already very close to the thing. She wondered how long her spells would hold up, and she wondered how long Shari could hold up that sword. It must have been very heavy.
Breaking free of Scorpius, Fyona made her way over to Shari, walking around her to face her directly. "Don't ever do that again," she warned. She wanted to get out of her and her fright more than anything was making her really wary.

Charmed...lovely. The pent up fear/rage/delayed reaction emotions inside of Shari seemed to drain as she was immobilized. She let herself go. She gave up, for the second time this evening, to the situation around her realizing, as was becoming a very relevant theme in her life, that she could only control so much of it herself.
It was like the situation back at home: Mekha had to have done something terribly wrong because Shari felt that the world had been shifted out of place, and usually she relied on her "yang" - namely Mekhara - to balance out her life, but something...some sixth sense denied her that comfort. Shari would never before tonight have given in to the situations around her. She would fight them because if she didn't fight, she didn't survive, but tonight was different because she had succumbed to them twice. "I guess my fighting days are over?" she thought to herself as she stood frozen on the spot. But there were still some things she could fight for, she just had to be rational about them. Like family: that was a rational fight - its just that being so far away from them, it may not be a fight she could win. Maybe thats another thing I'll have to get used to she thought.
The sword was weighing heavily on her arm. It must be retribution for her impetuously foolish act, but the sword was seriously heavy. She wished, in that moment of pseudo-penance, that she had her wand....but just think how dangerous she could be if she had her wand? She thought, like a flash of lightning, of a particular tag-line from the musical Jekyll and Hyde: There's such a fine line between a good man and a bad...

Scorpius followed Fyona over to Sharivah. He looked at Sharivah and looked at her eyes. I wonder what she is thinking. He couldn't help but wonder what it would actually be like to be with Sharivah. He was hoping that it would happen one day but no one can tell the future. The sword looked like it was starting to take its toll on Sharivah's arms. He wondered how much longer she could hold it up. He slid his hands into his pocket and felt something that he couldn't make out what it was. He took the item out of his pocket and it was Fyona's mirror.
"Oh Fyona here is your mirror that you dropped," he said as he handed the mirror to her. He wondered why she was carrying it with her, but he decided not to ask. At that moment he realized something.
"Hey the suits of armor aren't moving anymore, shouldn't we climb in them?"

Fyona reached up and took the sword out of Shari's hands, but she didn't realize that it was going to be as heavy as it was. Barely keeping the thing in her grip she dragged it away from her friend and then dusted off her hands like it was a gross item. "Okay, you're right Scorpius. We should be getting them in them. Who knows how long my spell will hold." Smiling at Shari she added softly, "But first." Pointing her wand at Shari she uttered a soft, "Mobili-Sharivah." Just like that Shari was free to move again, was in actually forced to move by Fyona's inability to think up any other spell but that one.
After that she looked the suit of armor up and down that she had recently frozen. "So I guess Shari and I will get into this one, Scorpius you will have to take the other." The two girls were small enough to fit into one suit and Scorpius was small enough to take the second. Fyona took the helmet off the suit and peered inside of it, though she felt queer. It was strange. Whatever enchantment possessed these suits was emanating from them. She could all but feel it.

Stuffed in the suit of armor, next to Fyona, Shari felt both embarrassed and incredibly ridiculous. She could imagine how terribly odd she had looked - how mad she might have come off as being - and especially in front of Scorpius. Somehow, she kept thinking on that silly kiss she had delivered him at the beginning of her loss of sanity. This evening, she knew now, would play before her as though a recurring nightmare that refused to be quelled. She'd have to fight to find a way to open her eyes following this one. It wasn't that she figured she'd regret everything she'd done this evening, just how everything turned out. They'll all probably think me mad when everything goes back to normal, Shari thought. The close enclosure and proximity to Fyona began its work at making Shari claustrophobic.
Breathing wasn't really the easiest activity at this moment. Something seemed to perform subtle attacks upon her skin, as though a brush chafed away at some invisible cloak that enfolded her and her companion. Somehow, magic still baffled her, though she would never admit it to her peers. This type of magic, the best case in point, must have penetrated her aura as she slipped into the enchanted suit of armor with Fyona. It was a mix of personal heat and private dread that filled her, almost like the storied Dementors of Azkaban approaching. Maybe it was Deva? Either way, it was not a very comfortable feeling that crept in upon her - ambushing her in the closed gloom of their hide-away.
Maybe this is what it feels like to live in a cupboard under the stairs! Shari ruminated, referring to the infamous Harry Potter. Yeah, he was a celebrity in India also. Perhaps he was the most famous person under the age of 30 anywhere in the world, both Wizard and Muggle.
Shari sighed. She tried to shift her weight and accidentally shoved Fyona. "Sorry," she whispered in the morose encasement of the armor. If this stuff was supposed to protect them, it felt more like an iron tomb than a hiding place.

Never in her life had Fyona felt claustrophobic -even now she didn't- but she still felt this force pushing at her from all sides. It was not a very comfortable feeling. A sharp jab to her side sent her head spinning in the already cramped suite. Despite how big the suite of armor looked from the outside, it really wasn't all that big in the inside. Add to that the presence of something...Something unknown but magical, it made to be a crowded space. "S'okay," she replied. She watched out for Scorpius, wanting him to get inside his suite already so they could get out of here. Any moment a Deva member could walk by and find the students escaping, though Fyona had already noticed the dwindling number of students in the Great Hall. Now that she had time to reflect on it there had been a quite a number of students missing that she had not seen for a long time. Though at the time she had been to drawn in to her own world to care or notice.
Now that she had a task to accomplish -which was getting out of this forsaken prison- she was able to think a bit more. Though this dark suit of armor wasn't helping. "Come on Scorpius let's go," she called to the boy, seeing him through the raised visor. To Shari she said, "You control that leg, and I will control this one, hopefully we can figure out some way to maneuver this thing together." Being in a cramped space was going to make his harder for the two of them to control this hulking piece of metal, than it was going to be for Scorpius who was alone. Moving the left leg forward a bit, Fyona tried to keep the thing upright. She could tell this was going to be a long journey up the stairs.

Scorpius climbed up the back of the suit and looked down into it. It was completely empty. That must mean a spell. He could feel power emerging from inside. He wasn't sure if he had wanted to get into the suit by this time. But then he looked over at the other suit and saw Sharivah and Fyona's heads disappear. Well time for me to go in. So he emerged himself into the suit and the power eminating from it. He felt strange. This power was controlling the suit. He was fighting against this power to gain control himself. Finally he overcame the power and he was able to move the leg of the suit. He decided to walk over to the other suit and whisper "Fyona where are we going now?"
