Elizabeth sat at her usual place at the Hufflepuff table: the very end, far away from everyone else. She was eyeing one of the Deva carefully. One of them had said she could have one of those masks. Elizabeth wasn't sure now which of these faceless humans was the one she had talked to. She had thought things over and, well, she would do whatever the woman asked her to.
It wasn't just for the masks, of course. The whole business of being more important because you had magical blood was definitely appealing to the young girl. Perhaps it was because her siblings had always tried to make her feel as though she WASN'T as important because she was so different to them. Whatever it was, Elizabeth really liked the idea that she was far superior than who could not come to Hogwarts to learn spells and potions (nevermind she really hadn't put much effort into the learning part), especially when it was her brothers and sister she was above.
Now...if only they could look over the fact that she, Elizabeth, wasn't exactly a pureblood....

The sixth year had finally gotten a decent night's sleep without any weird dreams or any interruptions of any kind. Brown eyes full of wide-awakeness, Seanna was searching the great hall, watching the other it people and wondering just exactly how they were feeling. It must've been tiring for them to baby sit the students in the great hall and the entrance hall and it must've been bothersome if they had someone like Shaw over them telling what they could and couldn't do to the kids. How much would it really take to find their buttons and push them?
Not that she would do anything. Well, nothing really stupid anyhow. Especially considering her younger years were still underneath the table and she didn't want to bring them any harm. But what was it exactly that the it people actually wanted? and how could they actually find out what they wanted and even still, would they even get an straight answer? Celina's questions she had asked her and been floating around in her head for a couple of days and Seanna felt it was really time to find out things... she just didn't really know how to do it.
It was then her brown eyes gazed down and found another one of her younger years, who had seemed to got frustrated with being underneath the table and Seanna couldn't really blame her. Being underneath the table was stinky, small and downright uncomfortable. But still, Elizabeth was a younger year and Seanna had to make sure all her younger years were okay and there was the added advantage that the girl was up near the it person and all Seanna had to do was scoot along the seat to sit next to her.
"They're interesting people, aren't they?" Seanna asked the younger year this question instead of the normal question of if she was okay or not... the blond had a feeling she was okay, going by the fact that she was eying the other it person and not hiding from it.

Elizabeth continued to watch with great curiousity as the Deva person wandered back and forth. She could only assume those movements of the guy's head meant he was watching out for trouble at the nearest tables. Or maybe he was trying to avoid looking at the first year. It really was hard to tell when you couldn't see anything of their face.
Elizabeth was so enthralled by the man and his blank face, she hadn't noticed anyone move up behind her. When the girl spoke, she jumped slightly. Few people ever talked to the chubby little first year and she had gotten into the habit of snapping at those who dared. Elizabeth didn't feel the need to do so today, though. Not with all the excitement going on.
"I know! Aren't they?" she questioned. She didn't glance back to see who it was that was talking to her, but kept her eyes on the Deva, wishing the guy would let her borrow his mask for a moment. "The woman said she'd show me how they get their faces like that. I haven't seen her recently, though. I might have to nick one instead."

Seanna's eyebrow went up and she could hear the warning bells going off in her head. One of them said that she'd showed Elizabeth how to get their faces like that? Seanna frowned at the back of the younger girls head. The sixth year didn't like the sound of that and however much she thought they were interesting people, she knew they were dangerous and cunning as well, which meant that if one of them said they would give something to the young girl, then that meant they wanted something from her as well.
"They're interesting, but they're dangerous as well" Seanna pointed out, still talking to the young girl's head. Seanna eyed the it person's face suspiciously. What would they want from a first year? But it was even stranger that they had talked to a first year... unless... unless, it was part of their plan. Pick the ones that would be the most impressionable first and plant what they wanted them to know. And that would be to a pick a side... and that's where her thinking theories stopped. Seanna knew there was a bad side... but where was the good side?
"Did they say anything else to you?" Seanna asked now, out of curiosity. Gathering information, that was one of the things that she needed to do. Find out as much as possible about why they were here and work on that. Seanna was hoping too that asking the first year what else they said would distract her from her idea of nicking a mask... she was thinking the it people wouldn't really like the idea of them being unmasked and known.

Dangerous? Elizabeth saw nothing dangerous about these people. Sure, they could inflict pain and suffering if they wished, but they really hadn't done much of that now, had they? No, what they obviously wanted was fear. And fear they did get. That was the problem with the biggest share of her classmates; they were all afraid. Maybe Elizabeth was simply too used to threats and such that she had become numb to that particular feeling. Or maybe she was simply too enthralled by the excitement and story-book type adventure to bother with it. Elizabeth simply hadn't felt the need to hide or cry or cower at any moment since the fellows had blasted the door to pieces. A strange creature she was. Perhaps even more so than those standing guard.
"I dunno..." Elizabeth shrugged at Seanna's question. She didn't know whether or not she was allowed to tell what she knew, but realized she didn't care. Heck, maybe the girl would like her if Elizabeth let her in on the secret. "Something about fighting for the rights of purebloods and how mudbloods think they can become clean if they hang around alot of pures, but all they really do is contaminate the lot."
The first year shrugged again. She thought about the theory she had grasped there in the hallways that day; how her own parents were much like the mudbloods the Deva woman had talked about. Only they were trying to get in with the rich societies, not claim they were Scottish when there might have been an uncle three times removed seven ancestors back. It made sense in some respects, but Elizabeth still had a hard time grasping the whole discussion.
"She asked me if I wanted to help, too," she grinned at this, feeling rather certain she was the only kid in the whole school whom the Deva had asked to join them. Her grin, however, turned into a half-frown as she finished, "Only, I didn't think they'd want me because I'm one of them 'mudbloods' or whatever."

Fighting for the rights of purebloods? and how mudbloods think they can become clean if they stay around said purebloods? How exactly was it that those it people knew that that was what the non magic folk thought? and besides that, who really cared about the rights of purebloods? Everyone was the same to Seanna, regardless of blood or otherwise. The sixth year didn't think they should be placed in categories, when really, there were some students here that did came from muggle families, but were more better at magic than what some of the purebloods were.
"What a load of... " Seanna trailed off, not voicing her opinion and not wanting to say what she really thought of that proclamation she just heard from the first year. Though, her realization of that this was a fight between good and evil was becoming more real to her. The blond haired girl knitted her brow in confusion. What she needed was more information. If there was a bad side, there must be a good side, there always was in situations like these. The question was, why wasn't the good side coming to help them?
"Help? Help how?" Seanna asked the first year, feeling more confused then ever and feeling that while Elizabeth was okay in the sense, that she needed to be protected, if not more, than her other younger years... especially if the Deva planted more thoughts to Elizabeth and in which could lead her being hurt by them and Seanna could never forgive herself if one of her younger years got hurt while she was supposed to protect them.

"Don't know," Elizabeth replied with a small shrug. The woman hadn't gotten that far into the conversation before they had been interrupted. The last thing Elizabeth had been able to tell the woman was that she was sure they wouldn't want her in their organization, but whether or not the Deva woman would have objected, Elizabeth didn't know. Nor did she know exactly what sort of stuff she would have had to do. Elizabeth probably would have agreed to anything, though. Anything to feel welcome into any sort of society would be nice. Despite Elizabeth's attitude that she didn't care about such, she secretly hated the fact that no one wanted to hang out with her, whether it was here or back home with her siblings. It hadn't ever occurred to her that her attitude might have been the very thing people wanted to stay away from.

"Huh" Was all that Seanna could come up with as a reply. Frowning, Seanna tried to process this new information Elizabeth gave her. Help, what could the Deva possibly need help with? Unless it was help with spreading information about them, gaining new ranks and the feeling of being a part of something. Shaking her head, Seanna put her head in her hands and then spread her fingers, her brown eyes peeking through them at the young girl next to her.
"Well... " Seanna said through a muffle voice, her mouth hidden behind her hands as well, not really wanting to suggest what she was going to suggest to the first year, but thinking it wouldn't cause any harm if they didn't do anything stupid. Seanna raised her brown eyes up towards the Deva member that was near the Hufflepuff table, then back down to the girl next to her.
"We could always ask..." Seanna trailed off, wrestling with her brain to make it think it was a good idea. It couldn't hurt, right? Asking how the first year could help. It was a simple question, after all. No harm would come of it, well Seanna hoped no harm would come of it. Plus, she was there, so while she was there, she could still protect Elizabeth if anything did happen, even if she couldn't do anything to protect her. Four days without doing nothing was beginning to get boring. At least asking would be considered as doing something, even if she wouldn't be the one asking, she could listen, though. Even listening was considered as doing something.
