A plan laid out for escape that she knew was, not only dangerous, but rashly planned out. There was no way it would succeed and whether Felicity knew that or not, Celina did. That was, unless they had someone on the side of the Deva that was working with them, instead of against them. Only then would it have a chance of success, and Felicity would be free to see Drew, get herself cleaned up appropriately, and feel safer. Celina on the other hand kept trying to convince herself not to think about where she would feel safer; that being where her brother was...inside the castle. But Felicity was her friend, and in a bit of suffering that Celina couldn't stand to see. This had gone on long enough, and even with her brother face covered, as she approached where he stood, Alfonz even looked worn.
Had they planned to meet? They actually had. He had come by the table and squeezed her shoulder affectionately as no one looked. Without Drew at the table, Alfonz felt more free to make any moves towards his sister he felt necessary. When he had done so, Celina had turned quickly and whispered an encoded message. Pure brilliance on the part of the younger Jedynak, but only one in which the older Jedynak received because of their past. To ask why they had made a code would be irrelevant at this time, just know...they had.
"The window in the garden, danced in the moonlight, sir. As the moonlight shown from above the water, and the dew glistened...that's when the earth and the fire came together, and created steam," Celina had said to her brother. He had tipped his head just slightly in return, and Celina knew that Alfonz had gotten the message.
From then it was the waiting for the time in which the moon would shine above the water in the garden to go to the window and look for her brother. The window that looked out onto the courtyard, while the snow would glisten under the moon light, where her and her brother would met up and speak of what was so important that she couldn't wait to tell him at a later time.
She walked briskly, her head down looking at the cool tile that she was glad her shoes kept her feet warm from. She passed by the Deva, the armor, and everything else that could have stopped her, and when she finally made it to the window, she looked up. A stocky, faceless, man that Celina knew was Alfonz stood in wait for the maiden. And yet, her hands and knees still shook, so afraid of what she was about to do. Her brother would help her...she knew he would.
For Felicity's sake....Celina hoped he'd help them.

Near the window, an icy chill lingered in the air as Alfonz stood yet again looking out a familiar window, wondering why he had been called out to do so by his sister. The urgency in her eyes as she had passed her encoded message had been sincere; there was something wrong. As she had passed it to him, Alfonz wasn’t idiotic to think that no one heard her as he had seen many of the surrounding students ears perk up to listen, only to later be confused by such expressions. Silly children, if they only knew how the symbolism of Celina’s words had meant everything.
The hall was unusually silent at this time of night, though it was midnight and if most of the students weren’t sitting in the Great Hall as usual, they were passed out from the many days of torment and suffering that was mostly induced by their thinking of what was to come. Just by being there the Deva had tortured their souls by letting them soak in their own thoughts. Raynor had seemed to given a few of them hope…but all Alfonz could see was the false hope of the young. It was almost depressing for the man with no heart. Almost.
Footsteps heard, approaching from behind. Alfonz couldn’t tell who they were by just the sound, but if they were anyone’s but Celina’s, Alfonz would have been worried. She was ten minutes late. Celina, one who had never been late for anything with Alfonz, was late in approaching him. Looking over his shoulder slightly, he saw her. She wasn’t as radiant as usual, but then again it had been a long couple of days. He restrained from going to her and wrapping her in his arms. Alfonz knew he couldn’t be seen doing that. Not now when Brady had given his identity away…not now when there was still chance that he could save the dignity of the Jedynak name. Alfonz turned back to the window to gaze out on the moonlit snow.
“You’re late,” he harshly whispered.

Celina stopped in place, a bit scared to move any further toward her brother. Usually, she would have gone straight up to him and embraced him, but this was not the time. She had business that had to be discussed and Alfonz was the only one who could help her. Celina had to be strong...or at least act it.
“I know…I’m sorry,” Celina said to Alfonz quietly at his harsh snap. She hadn’t meant to keep him waiting, but she wanted to make sure no one was looking before she made her way out. She had to make sure she wouldn’t be followed. Not when this was so risky of an idea to begin with, even being overheard was too much of a risk factor. Celina shook as she stood, and she could already tell, even with Alfonz’s mask, he was concerned about why she didn’t move any closer.
“I need your help…” Celina said in a small voice. As it cracked, she felt desperate for her brother to listen, as a tear started to well within her left eye.

There was something wrong. Something very wrong, and as he watched his sister's movements he cocked his head a bit. "Is everything alright?" Alfonz thought after he asked the question and wanted to kick himself. What wasn't wrong at this moment for her?
The Deva were still in the castle and she was probably feeling the stressing effects of Thornton leaving, even though Alfonz cringed to think such things. But at this moment, Celina still found comfort in the boy's presence, or so Alfonz thought, so that could also be the reason for her reluctance to approach him. But he highly hoped Celina wouldn't say such things. It had to be something else.

Celina shook her head, trying not to let her emotions get the best of her. No, everything wasn't alright. She was about to do what she knew was a foolish move, but only because if she didn't Felicity would stand no chance, especially by herself. Felicity was upset, and in a time of the month that would not suit when it came to making decisions...Celina knew this, and needed help. Her eyes drifted to the floor. "No..." she whispered and trailed off. "I'm about to escape, and I need your help."
Celina closed her eyes at how forward she had been, but as she had thought about it for hours she had foreseen no other way to tell her brother that she was doing something neither one of them expected her to be doing. She was disobeying authority, breaking resolution, and hoping she wouldn't pay for it. "I'm....I'm sorry, Alfonz..."

"Are you insane?!" Alfonz's tone was harsh and he couldn't distinguish between his emotions of shock and anger with the words that had formed and escaped from Celina's mouth. It had to be a misunderstanding. This couldn't go on much longer, and Alfonz knew that better than anyone. Raynor had returned and things were finishing up in Shaw's favor just as they were planned to, so what in Merlin's name was Celina even saying?! Alfonz grabbed his sister's arm pulling her behind a wall and tore off his mask to show her his face and the concern and anger that flooded over his expression. This was between a sister and a brother now, not a Deva and a child.
He bent down slightly to her face, grabbing her arms and shaking her so that she would look at him. "What the hell are you speaking of?! it's almost done Celina! We've almost got it finished and you're about to risk your life?! You, above all people are the safest here and if you even think of such foolishness...." Alfonz trailed off as he shook his sister a bit more furiously. "You're idiotic! What makes you think you could even....what help do you seek from me?! You should be grateful I am here to talk this nonesense out of you....who gave you such moronic ideas, Celina? Who?" he harshly, but quietly yelled at her.
Celina wouldn't do anything so rash, not with him there. It was that reason to begin with that he had shown to her his face and that he was there. It was that reason he was protecting her, so that she wouldn't have to act so much like....a scared and foolish mudblood. And where was that Rolen boy?! Shouldn't he be keeping an eye out for her and those who would put such ideas in her head?
"Don't tell me for an instant you are doing this on your own, or even because you want to. I am here....why now do you feel the need to act out so dumbly? Celina....and don't you dare lie to me, because you know damn well I'll know if you do...." he growled softly at her. His eyes danced with anger and his grasp on her was tight. There was no way he was about to help her be such an idiot.

Jerked behind a wall just out of sight from whoever may have been walking around, Celina knew everything had turned for worse when Alfonz removed his mask and grabbed her, shaking her feverishly. He was more angry than Celina had ever seen him, and her legs shook with fear for she had no idea what her brother would do with such anger that she could see dancing within his eyes. He yelled at her quietly and she could do nothing but shake her head, the tears of anguish flowing from her eyes. "I....I....." she stuttered not knowing exactly what to say or where to start.
Alfonz shook her again and this time it was worse. Celina's heart pumped as she didn't know what to do, so she did the only thing she could do and instinctively clutched on to his robes on his chest and pulled herself from his tight grasp, burying her face in his chest. She cried heavily and dulled her sobs with his cloaks. As she did so, she turned her face in order to explain herself once more. "I'm...I'm....I'm sorry....my friend....she's so sick...." Celina cried. What else was she to do?
He growled in her ear about not lying to him, and it echoed in her head. She wasn't about to lie to him. Alfonz was her protector from everything as they had grown up and until this day was the only one she trusted fully with her own safety. She wasn't about to lie to him, especially when he did know her, and that her ability to lie was only strong with those who didn't know her.
"Ples....Please help....." she quietly sobbed.

Celina collapsed into him, crying her eyes out and it only made Alfonz more angry. What was she thinking? A sick friend? That was no excuse for idiotic behavior. If someone was that sick, they could go to Shaw...the man had proved himself to have a bit of mercy once and a while, surely he'd have some for a sick student. Alfonz though was still unclear of what was going on fully. Celina's sobs only continued as she pleaded with him to help her, and he wrapped his arms around his younger sister, and leaned his back against a wall, holding her close trying to muffle her cries.
"Shut up, Celina," he harshly cooed. It wasn't working obviously but he needed her to knock off her crap in order to get the whole story. And then again, he could always lie. "You have to tell me the story....the full story....I'll help you then if you do," Alfonz assured her with no real intentions of doing anything. He'd go to Shaw first with the other person's intents, and then tell Rolen to keep Celina occupied as Shaw did whatever it was he wanted to whomever else was being foolish. Celina would be safe.
"Just tell me, Celina..." he trailed off, trying to hush his voice as he kissed the top of her head again and leaned his head on her own...."What's going on?"

A few moments passed between the two siblings where nothing was said or done. Celina was finally in Alfonz's embrace, feeling more safe than she had since the beginning of the entire ordeal and she was about to ruin it all with her next words. An explination of what was being planned between her and Felicity. What Felicity was planning on doing, that Celina could not let her do alone for fear she'd get killed or worse. Especially in Felicity's condition, Celina was compelled to help her, and was reluctantly willing herself to do so. Her sobbing stopped, but the tears still remained. She move her face slightly so that she could talk without having to look at her brother. Her eyes were closed, and it was as if she were in a trans, she told him everything he wanted to know.
"My friend Felicity," she whispered. "she's sick and wants to get out of here. I told her I'd help her because I know that she wouldn't be able to do it by herself, but she'd try any ways. Oh, Alfonz....I tried to talk her out of it....but she wouldn't hear it. I was thinking you could help us pull it off....."
A few seconds more of silence passed.
"Felicity was thinking that at dinner tomorrow night, I would leave dinner to go to the bathroom. She would follow minutes later, and as the Deva guards switched their posts, we'd run up the stairs and somehow manage to get ourselves to one of our houses where there are brooms and we could somehow fly out of here....get away, ya know?"
Celina clung tightly to her brother's robes, her eyes still shut and the tears subsiding for just a moment. Please, help me... Celina thought to herself....she thought to her brother.

It was the most ridiculous thing that Alfonz had ever heard in his life. Not even he would think of something so irrational...and with something that had so many loop holes, Alfonz had to wonder if the young lady he held within his arms at that moment was even his younger sister to begin with. It wasn't like her at all not to think something fully through and at least have a theory that seemed reasonable...what was this load of....running up the stairs? Celina had lost it...though one thing stuck out mostly in Alfonz's mind. "Felicity Hjort? As in it was her idea?" Alfonz quietly asked his sister as if not to alarm her with his own venom for that name.
She had been one of the friends that upset Celina so in the beginning of the school year. They still were together? Not for long if Alfonz had anything to do with it. "What did I tell you about that girl? Useless.....and see what foolish ideas she's putting into your head? She's out to get you killed....do you think she really cares what happens to you, as I do?" Alfonz asked his sister, not moving his head from her own.
Alfonz kept his sister close, his mask still off, and he wasn't worried one bit about what may or may not come from behind the wall in which they stood. He held his sister and kept her calm as he thought....he had everything he needed....now all he needed to do was send Celina back to the Great Hall and find Shaw....Alfonz would set everything right again. "I'll help you, Celina," he whispered to her. Alfonz just wouldn't divulge how he planned on helping.

Watching the sniveling and occasionally sneering faces of insolent children was beginning to wear at him. His subordinates were now far beyond testy and he was even beginning to wonder if perhaps the brain-lacking armor were starting to succumb to the human emotion of boredom! Such occurrences were not supposed to happen, they were NOT in the contingency… And yet here he stood by the formerly high table clearly able to observe both in the prime stages of early development. He had retained self control for three days now, or perhaps it was four, having wanted so badly to simply throw his plan out the window, hex them all outright and be gone with nothing but a vicious calling card behind...
But alas he’d stuck by his plans…
Stuck beside his plans and by his intelligence and his belief that some of them were turnable, and because of this he’d been polite and he’d been tolerant but his tolerance was growing very thin. The man’s gray eyes scanned over the faces he’d taught once again and again he left the main room be striding forth up the main aisle at a brisk pace, trying his best to mind the strewn about fingers, limbs and heads while also passing his persona of power. Corrion was stalling him out to the first move, and the stress the auror’s delaying tactics were placing upon him was almost enough for him to oblige the unwritten call to the table… Almost.
But he could wait just a little more; he could win this game even if it did eventually mean sitting at Corrion’s table for the feast, for now it was time to make sure tempers of his followers were once again checked at the door, or in the more preferred case, still sitting on the curb outside. As the man crossed the main hall, he found little to be of concern except for the looks of extreme boredom on everyone’s gray and depressed faces -- no doubt those would bite sometime later. But for now they were of minimal concern. Hell had not arisen while his back was turned and that was all that mattered. Once clear of the main hall, it left only one true point left to check and that was the courtyard doors. However his arrival there was to be delayed indefinitely.
As Robert cleared the hall and into the corridor with his steps echoing behind, he found opposite him a most comforting but equally infuriating sight. For there comforting a student was a man that was without a second thought Alfonz Jednyak. The infuriation came not from the show of compassion, but from the lack of rational restraint, for on the floor next to his rather tall associate was the mask that they had sworn to keep on for the duration or take off in what small private darkness they could safely muster. This was certainly neither one nor the other.
His eyes took a sweeping gaze over the scene, blinked, swept over it once more and blinked again in a slow repeating cycle before proper words could form within his vocal chords and again between his lips. “Are you going to continue to test my graciousness Jedenyak or should I simply save myself the trouble and kill you?” It was indeed quite the tempting course of action, especially seeing as how the man now seemed bent on pushing more than one of his buttons. It was quite clear to Robert that this girl had something to do with Jednyak’s volunteering for this task, and that said motive was distriacting him from his directive…
“Or perhaps it is the distraction I should worry more about? Hmm?”

Alfonz heard the footsteps coming before he saw the face and he tried to hide further back behind the wall than they already where standing behind. Celina tightened her grasp and held her breath. It was like a bad memory from both of their pasts and Alfonz felt Celina buried her face once more in his robes.
When the figure appeared, it felt as if the hall dropped in temperature and the darkness only got darker. The moon seemed to be covered at that very moment Shaw’s face appeared, only slightly visible but his voice was what chilled both Jedynaks straight to the bone. It was obvious that he was indeed playing with the ideas he had offered as alternatives.
Instinctively, Celina was being pushed behind Alfonz. He’d protect her above anything else, even if it meant being killed by the very man who signed him up to be at Hogwarts in the first place. Holding Celina behind him, Alfonz’s eyes darted to the mask that lay on the floor and then back up to Shaw’s face. The realization of how serious the situation was, was getting more crucial by the moment that he stood there and just said nothing.
“Test you not, good sir. This child came to me….” Alfonz dare not say anymore for fear Celina would become uneasy. “Celina, leave us,” Alfonz said harshly as he looked back at her and then looked at Shaw. “Shaw…she’s….she’s my sister.” Alfonz was defeated, but in that moment, he felt that that was the only way that anything could be

Celina let out a yelp when Shaw started to talk, not that she hadn’t heard the footsteps but her eyes were closed so tightly that she was hoping it was all just a horrid nightmare. Shaw’s voice though, the same tone as their fathers…it was enough to make Celina wither in fear for both men, she could tell, always meant what words were spoken. Shaw had been her professor, after all, at one time, and had known what he was talking about then. Celina didn’t doubt he could do or would do anything he was speaking of now.
As she was pushed behind her brother, she clung to him tightly and the tears started to stream from her eyes once more. “No….no….” she mumbled. She didn’t want anyone to be killed. Maybe she shouldn’t have gone to Alfonz with what was happening. “….don’t kill…..please….” she whispered silently behind her older brother.
Celina leave us.
Celina went to move from behind her brother, but froze as she met with Shaw’s face, trying not to make any eye contact. Eye contact was always bad, there were other things worse, but eye contact was always the start, especially when it was with someone who was superior. Her superior. She crept to Alfonz’s side, but didn’t move one more inch and wouldn’t without Shaw’s dismissal.
As Alfonz told Shaw that they were related, Celina’s mind almost wondered why her old professor hadn’t made that connection. However, it would never be her place to question, so she darted her eyes towards the ground. She looked towards the ground and waited.

Robert’s gray eyes continued to bore onward toward the duo. He was not intent on pushing Robert’s patience yet he’d removed the mask that provided their veil of secrecy? Quite frankly Robert didn’t give a single damn whether the girl had come to him or not. It didn’t matter who’d come to whom. Not now. If she went to Corrion – or any other auror for that matter with the information she now contained – it would mean one less face he couldn’t risk putting immediately forward. He needed faces forward.
“Celina, leave us…”
There was a moment’s hesitation as the Ravenclaw lass made herself reluctantly scarce, a nervous hesitation in the man’s voice before the next sentence came broken from his lips.
“Shaw…she’s….she’s my sister.”
Well this explained his motivations for being here, and his lack of control and concern toward his identity. It explained them quite plainly in fact. But family present or not he had violated not only given orders, but a well sounded pairing of confidence and trust that Shaw had expected them []all[/i] to abide by until they had their safe passage assured.. That expectation simply was to listen to him, Jedynak hadn’t and for that a punishment would be dealt. However details were still missing, and multiple variations of the question “why?” were left unanswered by his words. Robert wanted those answers before he did anything.
“It seems that I have been graced to personally meet your motivation. Blood is strong a tie as water is durable Mr. Jedynak of this I both know and respect. However trust is as fragile as glass and you are dangerously close to losing mine. I suggest your answers from here on be more than satisfactory to my questions.” Robert now closed the gap between them, easing from the shadows carefully as he had learned to so carefully master. He was unarmed, or at least bore no wand in his hand, as far as armaments he had several from which to choose but at the moment it was believed that none were necessary.
“Let’s just wrap it all up at once shall we. How did she know whom to go to, and what is the nature of her apparent distress?” a pause. “Keep in mind the ground you’re standing on, I act on the truth, even if it should come from the mouth of a child.”

Alfonz watched as his sister moved only so far before freezing in fear, gazing at the floor not making eye contact. She was scared out of her mind, and Alfonz knew that, but the knowledge didn't make him any less furious with her for not taking her leave as he had ordered. "Celina, I said leave." He looked back toward Shaw only to realize that passing him was possible, but not even he would have dared do it at that time. That's why she had to be stronger than he, Celina had to leave in order for his discussion with Shaw to progress in the fashion that he needed it to. He couldn't give his sister away, but turning her friend in to Shaw while she was standing right there would have been an even worse idea. He'd lose her trust in an instant and only ruin everything he had tried so hard to accomplish. Alfonz wouldn't have it.
It seems that I have been graced to personally meet your motivation. Blood is strong a tie as water is durable Mr. Jedynak of this I both know and respect. However trust is as fragile as glass and you are dangerously close to losing mine. I suggest your answers from here on be more than satisfactory to my questions
His answers? Still with his sister there, he said not a word. Looking back at Celina, he gently lifted her gaze towards his own and gestured with a tip of his head to leave them. Celina reluctantly nodded, and left. "I assure you," Alfonz said lightly so that his sister would not hear as her footsteps quickly echoed away from the two men, "they will be."
Shaw closed in and Alfonz felt himself tense up a bit. As he looked the leader of the Deva up and down just slightly, he couldn't tell, however, what gave him such a threatening demeanor that even Alfonz was cautious not to irritate. The man was five inches shorter than him, and as Alfonz looked into the man's face, he never once looked down at him. Alfonz knew a powerful man when he saw one, and at this stage of the game, Shaw was the most useful if not the most dangerous. Eye contact was necessary, although Alfonz hesitated to give it.
Let’s just wrap it all up at once shall we. How did she know whom to go to, and what is the nature of her apparent distress?
"She knew who to go to, because I signaled it to her that I was here. The first night, when I caused a bit more of a scene than I meant to, I handed off a ribbon to her. One in which represented a tie between the two of us that is never broken. Quaint, I know, but sufficient." Alfonz wasn't to comfortable giving away what plan he had had since the beginning, but it was what needed to be done in order for everything to be worked out as planned. Shaw would deal with the Hjort girl when he found out what she was planning, and dragging Celina into. He understood family? Fine. But Alfonz doubted he really, truly understood the Jedynak family.
"She came to me tonight with a message that she knew someone who was going to escape, and in turn dragging her into escaping with them. She came to me to help her with the certain circumstance. When out in the open, who knows what trouble that girl could cause, and Celina understood that it was not only dangerous but foolish. A girl by the name of Felicity Hjort....so it seems..." Alfonz trailed off, not knowing what to expect from his superior but at the same time hoping that not all would be lost because of his inability to keep his mask on. Alfonz briefly glanced at it again, only hoping that didn't cloud the man's judgment on the matter.
Alfonz would admit that he gave himself away, and accepted whatever punishment would come at him that he figured would come. But as long as Celina was safe, and not harmed...then he'd take anything. And with no more need to worry, Alfonz waited for Shaw's response to him and breathed.
