5:37 15 January 2008 A few moments after Apollo storms out of the Great Hall
Anger was fuming, rolling off of him like steam from boiling water, smoke from fire and ironically like smoke from the spell scorches that decorated the Entrance Hall. The oldest of the Deva was very far from a happy man, He had tried several times each time he had been denied, denied by Shaw. This was far from an ideal group, Apollo had made it crystal clear to Shaw when he had expressed interest in joining the Deva, Apollo had pressed that he would not take an order yet he found himself following them to protect his very being, to help insure the security here, he normally would have turned his wand on every being there yet he was only one man and being just one man he didn't have a chance against all the others in the hall.
His anger had cooled slightly and as his head returned he found that he was becoming very hungry, as he realized this he realized he couldn't remember the last thing he had eaten, or when it had been, probably yesterday or early early this morning. He needed to remedy this and so he did with a clap of his hands and a soft yell of 'Craaavis!'
It took almost the blink of an eye, yet just the same the elf appeared, he was old yet very capable, he wore a crudely fashioned loincloth and he bowed as he muttered "Master summoned?" in his squeaky voice.
"I want some dinner nothing fancy you hear me?" He ordered, the brashness of his voice revealing his temper as still rather high
"Yes Sire" the elf responded using Apollo's title of choice as the older elf bowed himself from Apollo's presence and disaparated into a wisp of smoke.

Krissy's presence had been in the great hall and she had been watching and listening avidly, however she had kept quiet for once, monitoring the actions of the deva and of the matriarch of Howarts, professor Raynor. However bent and small the woman looked Krissy knew she had something important to do, or she wouldn't be there. Krissy knew Raynor would do her best to protect the children and if the deva were after her she was likely to give herself up to save the kids. Although Krissy did hope it did not come to that she also knew to keep her nose down and just be there as defensive back up.
Krissy had been rather surprised when Shaw had hexed Brady and had to try really hard not to yell and send a curse of her own at Shaw. Krissy had somehow taken a liking to Brady and though she wanted to go see if he was okay she decided later would be better. For now the angry death eater that had seemed so keen on cursing Brady had stormed off and Krissy decided to instead follow him. She could hear the smashes of stuff as he broke them to pieces. Krissy ducked under the Hufflepuff table and crawled to the end before reapearing and ducking quickly out the door of the great hall and into the entrance hall.
Krissy ducked behind a small crevice in the wall as she exited the great hall and spotted the man. Least from this small hidden spot she was slightly hidden. She jumped slightly as the man yelled something, thinking for a moment that he may have spotted her. However a small house elf appeared in front of him and he demanded food. Nothing fancy. Krissy smirked. She just couldn't resist the temptation. However right now she knew she was in VERY dangerous playing grounds and every step could result in death. However she wasn't too keen on the fact he had wanted to fight Brady without Brady even having a proper wand and this was the first time she had ever found him alone.
Krissy poked her head out from the shielding spot of her wall for a moment, checking the man's position. She dropped her hand into the pockets of her robes where she withdrew from it a potato. It was one of the potato's she had taken the first night, she kept re-filling her pockets with them. Krissy paused for a moment and and then, with a quick flick of her arm, sent the potato flying at the man. However Krissy had thrown, rather then right at the man, right next to him, hoping to just make the potato skim right past his head. She was sure just missing him with a potato would be alot safer then actually making contact with his head with a potato. Krissy ducked back into the crevice of the wall, hiding herself from view once more. However if the man moved his head slightly it was likely the potato would hit him.
She was playing a dangerous game, but no-one yet knew the others cards.

Apollo wasn't in the mood for antics, his left hand was clenched on his wand tightly, and he was still trying to fight the urge to go back in the Great Hall and stun Shaw's brains until they ran out of Shaw's undersized ears. That man knew exactly what Apollo was, he knew exactly what Apollo wanted and Shaw had the ability to satisfy Apollo's thirst yet Apollo remained with a severe case of dry-mouth. Apollo saw something out of the corner of his eye and as he turned his head something collided with his temple causing a cold mud like substance to spread on his head. Had Apollo's anger been converted to heat the potato could have been cooked again. His right hand came up to wipe the mess from the side of his head. Apollo started to finally curse, he spewed streams of curses that would cause mothers to cover their children's ears, sailors to blush, and even the most hardened street thug to take cover. He would kill these Kids the filthy mudblood brethren. Apollo took a gamble, A bit of an educated gamble in his next words. As he said them in a sadistic tone he slowly moved to the Great Hall as if to make good on the following offer. "Whoever threw that had better come out of their hidy hole, or I will practice my Cruciatus Charm on some First Years." Apollo's gamble was simple, and big, he was assuming the person in Hiding, the potato cannon if you will, was a wanna-be-hero, big or small if he wanted to be a hero whoever the spud chucker was would promptly give up placing their head foolishly above the others in the hall.

(Random note : Krissy is outside the great hiding behind part of the wall)
Krissy smirked as the man started cursing. Jeez he definitely knew some good ones. Perhaps she could have to adopt some of those when screaming at people. She was sure they would probably either enrage them further or make them leave in disgust. Krissy had poked her head around the crook in the wall during the string of curses to see her potato had hit, and splattered. Perfect. It was his own dumb fault he got hit. Had he just not moved it would have gone straight past him. She was beginning to determine that these faceless weren't the brightest crayons in the box.
Krissy saw the man move and heard his words. Okay so he was holding some cards in his hand, but if he even raised his wand at those first years she would hex him right there and then, in front of Shaw and the rest of the people in the great hall or not. However it wasn't her intention to make him attack younger students just yet. Krissy stepped out from behind the bit of wall she was behind. "Your the one that said you wanted nothing fancy for dinner" Krissy said as she leaned against the wall in clear view of the man. A slight smirk was on her face but as casual as she looked she was ready to send up a sheild charm if necessary. Her wand, which was tucked up her sleeve was usual, was easy to flick out for her and so easy for her to get to without a sudden movement. Krissy shrugged slightly to the man. Hey, he had said it. "I just thought you might like a potato" she said simply "Not my fault you decided to put your head in the way of it" Yes she was being smart with the man, but she doubted he would do too much, they were still pretty close to Shaw and Shaw was likely to hex the man himself if he cursed a child. Actually, perhaps not if it was Krissy, he did know what she was like afterall.

Apollo couldn't make good on his threat, really, yet it was worth a try. As sure as day, as sure as a Deer comes to the hunting grounds for food, water or some other reason so stepped forward an older student, he could that she was a student by the robes. His eyes locked on her badge... Head Girl... how interesting. "Your the one that said you wanted nothing fancy for dinner"
Oh she was going to be a pain, "You must know then that that order was for my house-elf, not sniveling mudblood consorts." He told her with a sneer, he was not having a good evening, and if this Girl didn't start to show a bit of respect then there would be problems, the painful kind. Apollo started to slow his irregular breathing, Anger did that to him, so he concentrated, letting his breathing come under his command, letting his body relax, not for thge sake of the girl for the sake of Apollo, he could and did control himself, he would not let his environment change him, these spawn of filth would not shame him all they did was fail to keep the wizarding race clean and powerful, purity was the reason he was here, purity was his master's goal and he would insure that these bits of filth were removed leaving only the purest like himself.

Krissy smirked at the guys retort. Yeah it was definitely upsetting him that she was there. She grinned, it was obvious he would love to curse her to oblivion. "So its okay for you to converse with other species but not with your own just because their blood is slightly different?" Krissy questioned the man. Yes she was criticising his view's but she knew she would not change his opinion, but instead she just wanted to see how far she could push him. See how he reacted to having his opinions taunted and his beliefs criticised.
Krissy shrugged her shoulders, her back still pressed up against the cold stone of the wall and her posture looking cool and casual. "Anyway, I just thought I would help out and get you dinner so the poor creature didn't have to race around following your orders. Krissy believed in fairness for all creatures, blood types and everything. Her opinions differed greatly from this mans. His would contradict hers and hers his. However she was not about to get into a debate about their opinions, this was all a test in her mind. A test of his will power, a test of his limits, a test of how far she could push him. The deemed all this important if she was ever going to get her friends out of this mess.

The potato didn't bug Apollo it was a mere potato and he was a pure blooded wizard he was tougher and stronger than these mud blood consorts. Apollo thought softly and shifted on his weary feet, he was getting old and even Apollo knew this, yet for all the age he was still good enough, he still knew his edge was honed to that of the sharpest razor. He shifted once more exhaling loudly then with the attitude of one explaining 'why the goldfish went belly up' to a toddler he explained, " That poor creature is my servant, that is the natural order of things." he said softly knowing this argument could go for quite the length of time. Yet he knew where he stood, bad blood, will contaminate the supply of pure, According to Apollo. Apollo was not by nature a cruel man, in some ways he respected some aspects more than any others, he had never raised a hand against Cravis nor threatened him it was just the way it was; the elf existed to serve him.
Ironically at that moment the elf reappeared bearing a large tray, as his master ordered the food was indeed simple, though covered by a silver dome to insure his master's dinner stayed warm. Though over the hill as far as most humans considered elves, Apollo knew this elf could and would do whatever Apollo deemed worthy to bid it. Cravis loved his work, Cravis loved Apollo, and Cravis was an able servant. "Sire, your dinner" The elf softly beckoned to Apollo whom promptly conjured a table of to the side of the hall, it was nothing ornate just about 4 feet in circle in diameter butt he large silver platter fit nicely on it with plenty room to spare. the old elf managed to slide the platter up and he started to set the table, napkins, forks knives spoons, all of the finest silver they were originally embossed with the Schmidt crest yet now that emblem had worn off.

(Am SO sorry. Having been able to bring myself to RP recently... But I've got 2 weeks of holidays so I'll make a point to find my groove sometime during them - not to mention get some sleep so I can actually function. I'll try to post more often from now on - again - Sorry. ) "What makes you think you can decide the natural order of things?" Krissy questioned rolling her eyes like she did, a slight spark of her normal firey attitude showing in her voice. She disliked people who believed themselves to be better then everyone and everything else. She personally believed in equality between all beings. Wether it be a spider, a human, or a centuar. They were all equal in her mind. Sure they contained different intelligence, but just because humans couldn't understand the language of animals did not mean they did not have language, nor did it mean they did not deserve the same treatment. It was all a rather complicated factor and difficult to tell where to draw the line, however Krissy was sure one day she would be sure. She was still learning afterall. Krissy rolled her eyes as the man's elf appeared and brought him his food. "Jeez you might as well give it a colar, feed it treats and call it Fido" Krissy said with a roll of her eyes and a scowl in the direction of the man. She watched him conjure a table. Oh yeah he was way too good to just sit on the floor Krissy thought sarcastically. She had to try really hard not to roll her eyes once more. Krissy dropped her hand into her pocket at the front of her robes and her fingers found what she was looking for. Half a dog biscuit. "Here" Krissy said, throwing the biscuit casually in the mans direction, although opposing no threat as she did so. "Might as well get an early start" Krissy rolled her eyes once more. Stupid man.
