Day 1, 4:00 pm
The sooner she discovered the news about the Stonehenge Music Fest, the sooner she was begging and pleading her dad to send her some money to let her go the full run of the festival. If there was a better way to spend the summer that had long ago been called one of her most boring and cruel summers, she wouldn't have known it, because this had to have been the perfect way to get ahold of great memories of her last official school break.
She couldn't believe her eyes when she noted the line-up-- her all-time favorite band, The Weird Sisters, was going to be there, along with others that she adored absolutely. And as soon as she could get her hands on some moola for the three day pass, she asked her friends who wanted to come. For the most part she had owled Drew, Hiro, and Dragos, but told them to keep inviting more people in case they could score a huge group to party with. Still, as long as her best friends could make it, she was pleased just to have them.
To make things simple, she told them all to meet her by the entrance, where there was likely a coordinator to get them acquainted. Charlie made sure to get there before all of her friends, roughly landing on her feet after touching off on the rusty can. It seemed like the perfect time to enter, as the first three lineups were nothing in her music tastes, though she was sure Accio Fans were more of her taste. She waved away any greeters, telling them she was waiting for her friends. Sitting down on the grass, a good distance away from the landings, she fiddled with the laces of her Converse and dreamed of being up close to the Weird Sisters, being so close that she could smell their breath.
