Ryan was bored. Very bored. It was amazing how even though he had a pocketful of money, and with plenty of things to do, he was bored and just wanted to go home. Just because he was anti-stereotypes doesn't mean that he disagreeed with the 'boys hate shopping' one, in fact, he knew that that was correct. Ryan was just glad that he had convinced his mother to let him go by himself and for him to buy a new broom. At his last year at Hogwarts, he had refused to ride that broom in public, it was so... disgusting. He hated it almost as much as he hated shopping and that is saying a lot.
Ryan walked over to the Quality Quidditch Supplies eager to get himself the best broom that money could buy. Well, the best broom that he could buy with the amount of money yhta he did have. He really wanted to try out for the Quidditch team this coming year, and there was no point doingso if he had no broom, right?
Dressed in a flannelette, surf-brand long sleeve shirt, with a denim hodd attatched, and long denim jeans, Ryan wished that he didn't pick on of the colder days to come to Diagon Alley. They were experiencing rain, and clodness, even though it wasn't winter, it was spring. The boy had a backpack on his back, with his money, a book (Ryan had been spending way too much time with Tianne, it was starting to get quite scary, really), his newly bought robes, a huge packet of everything that he loved, including bertie botts, chocolate frogs, liquorice wands, and a LOT more. On the outside of his bag, Ryan had his skateboard tied up. It was meant to go there, and that was the entire reason that Ryan had bought that style of bag, he hated carrying his skateboard.
Ryan pushed open the door leading into the shop. He felt the warmth of the fires burning almost straight away and smiled. Ryan wandered over to the shop assistant, who just happened to be very pretty. "Hey... You wanna give me a little help? I fell head over heels the first time I saw you." He joked with the lady, and she merely smiled at him. "What can I get for... say... this much?" He said, grabbing a few coins out of his pocket. "I have more, though, I just don't know how expensive brooms usually are." Ryan said, using his charming grin.
