Connor was curious to know if Cole's calm voice really was him being chill and calm about the ' initiation, ' or if he was sort of intimidated. He tossed a glanced over to Delilah, wondering what sort of hold she had on this younger boy. He smirked slightly at the girl's comment, nodding his head to ensure the truth in her words. " It won't be too bad. I think. " He shrugged his shoulders, completely making things up along as he went. He wouldn't ever do anything to hurt Cole, so long as the dude didn't do anything to hurt Delilah.
" I am... actually kinda thinking of finding Celina... " He trailed off, standing up and brushing himself off a bit. The floor was a little dusty.
" But we'll have to organize the whole event... for now, I'll leave you two to chatting. " He paused and winked at Delilah, putting just slight emphasis on the word ' chatting ' just to make fun of her a bit. She was like a sister to him, so he figured he might as well execute some brotherly jests. " Nice meeting you, Cole. " He commented before giving a wave and turning down a hallway, wondering where exactly Celina would be. The idea of sending her an owl, even if she was in the castle, held its appeal.

Cole listened to the two Slytherins intently. When Delilah got up and apologized for the floor he chuckled a little and said to her "Don't even worry, its not like there was anyplace else to sit...I'm not minding it at all really..I can even lie down if I want." As for the initiation Connor spoke of; Cole could hear a sort of laid backness about the whole thing as he listened to what the Slytherin had to say. All of Cole's thoughts about how horrible it would be faded away in the instant he realized it wasn't going to be anything bad at all.
However as Connor rose from the floor Cole couldn't help but feel a little bit left out. So Cole began to rise. As he did this though it seemed that Connor was going to leave them now. So Cole continued to stand up. "I was feeling a little left out...and for a plan today...well I have no idea what I want to do or even if I will do anything...I'll probably take it as it comes." Cole said after Connor finished replying.
As Connor left Cole felt almost a little sad to see him go. He was definetly the reason everyone had stuck around like they had. Cole replied to Connor "Good to meet you too...have a good day man." He then turned to Delilah and asked "So you wanna hang around for a little bit longer?"

Delilah forced a smile at Connor as he left, nothing but genuine, and she planned on talking/bugging him about this Celina a little later. "Take it easy Connor... And good luck finding her..." She said, trying to stop herself from turning a slight shade of red. At least her fellow Slytherin cared about her... right?
Once he left Delilah smiled at Cole brightly, "Yeah sure, sounds like that has potential for fun." She said in a joking voice. "And don't mind him, he means well," She said, grinning, "I think." Delilah continued to stand, be shifted her weight from side to side, trying to get the numbness from her bum out.

Cole smiled as Connor began to walk away. He couldn't help but wonder where such a character came from. Rarely had Cole met someone so unique and comfortable in their own skin. Cole heard Deliah's reply to Connor wishing him luck, so Cole joined in and said "Yeah, good luck with that man, have a good day." Cole turned back to Delilah. "So... he's quite the character eh?" He said.
As he took in her bright smile he couldn't help but return it with one of his own. It got even bigger when Delilah agreed to stay with him for a little while. He really wanted to set today into the right. I wish I had a better control over myself... Cole thought. He hung his head in shame for a second before he remembered that he had his chance to set things right again. He really didn't want anything to come between him and Delilah no matter how big or small.

Delilah turned back to Cole and grinned, "Ha, you don't even know the half of it." She said knowing that should Cole stick around long enough, he'd get his taste of Slytherin, and then some. The small Head Girl looked at her comrade as he went up the steps, and out of site. She turned back to Cole, "So, did you want to stay here, or does another spot suit you better?" She asked, not opposed to staying here, and not really opposed to going somewhere else either.
She really did enjoy spending time with this boy, whether it be here or there, as long as he was there, or here, it didn't really matter. She couldn't really believe how this day had started, and how her emotions and feelings were out of wack, but she intended to keep those things to herself, because she was stubborn enough to do so. She kept the warm smile on her face so Cole wouldn't suspect anything, and fidgeted with her hands nervously.

Cole smiled a at Delilah with a crooked little smile. He didn't really care where he was so long as he was with her. He wasn't sure if she knew that but he most definitly did. He looked at Delilah as he answered. "It doesn't make a big difference to me, maybe just walk around the grounds for a while and just talk...I know I have some things I need to say." He hoped he didn't seem to blunt and also hoped she would listen to what he had to say. I have some apologizing to do... Cole thought.
"So does that sound okay to you?" Cole asked. Just hoping Delilah would stick around and be with him long enough that he could set things right. He didn't want to let her go off without the proper apology.

Delilah's eyebrows furrowed. He had something to say, did he? Well... surely sitting here wouldn't suit that. The small girl looked up into Cole's warm brown eyes, which looked almost apologetic. Just what was he going to say to her. Delilah smiled softly, and stood up carefully, seeing as she was quite a clutz, she had to make sure that she did this slowly, and make sure she didn't fall in the process. Once fully upright, she gestured outside, where it was getting a bit nippy, but it was all good, she knew a lot of magic that would probably come in handy at some point.
Delilah nodded so as to answer Cole's question of whether it sounded good to her or not. "Shall we then?" She asked, shoving her hands in her pockets to prepare her for whatever may come ahead.

Cole smiled and nodded shyly. "Let's do it...I just really hope your not worried about what I have to say." He said Cole tossed his hair and ended up with some in his face as usual. I'll just leave it there until I need to take it out... He shrugged it off and began to walk slowly waiting for Delilah to be in step with him. He waited until she was then he moved the hair from his face and turned to look her in the eyes. "Look...I've never been that great with making friends or even people in general...so I count myself really lucky for having met you Delilah, thats one thing to start...but I also know I wasn't a great friend today, and I'm sorry I acted like the jerk I did...who your friends are shouldn't be any business of mine and I had no right to get pissy like I did, so what I'm trying to say is well...I'm sorry....could you forgive me?" Cole asked as sincerely as he could. He felt like the smallest being on the face of the planet at that moment.
Cole waited quietly for Delilah's response. He kept adjusting his clothing just from how uncomfortable the wait was for him. He turned his gaze to the ground and felt a lot safer waiting for her response like that. He felt his breathing and realized it wasn't his normal breathing; this was a lot heavier. He waited and knew he would as long as he needed to.

Delilah grinned. "It's all good Cole, but I will worry about the people I care about and the things they have to say." Delilah said, not really realizing that she was admitting to Cole that she cared about him. Not that she didn't care about her other friends, but for him it was a little different. However, just because it was him, didn't mean she realized what words were comming out of her mouth, she'd say it to any of her close friends.
Delilah continued walking with Cole, and as they walked side by side, step by step, he began talking. Delilah smiled when he made his apology, and she even felt grateful. Grateful because someone like Cole was a rare find indeed, she was just glad that he happened to find her when he did. She fiddled with the bracelet he gave her and simply beamed. She absolutely loved being around Cole. Delilah stopped and waited for him to face her, and once he did, she could only hope that he could see the smile upon her face. "Oh Cole, I hope you know you're forgiven, it's okay to ask me questions, I'm your friend." She said bluntly, hoping that Cole would stop worrying and just be himself.

Finally Cole lifted his head, and much to his surprise he saw one of the most amazing sights he could have asked for in that moment. Delilah was smiling and it made him smile. "Oh Cole, I hope you know you're forgiven, it's okay to ask me questions, I'm your friend." Was all that he heard and at this he burst into a huge grin. Partly from relief but mainly just because he was truly happy. "Thanks Delilah...thanks for taking time to listen and thanks for giving me a chance when I really didn't deserve it...I have never had a friend like you and it blows me away every time you show me what your made of." Cole said slightly bashfully.
As they continued to walk Cole couldn't help but feel happy just to be with her. Smiling as they walked along Cole gave Delilah a playful little push with his shoulder, but he was also ready to catch her if he caused her to stumble to much."Your really one amazing girl you know that right?" Cole said. This really reminded him of the time he spent with her over the summer, no matter how random the meetings were they still stuck in his mind and would stay there for a long time.

When Delilah saw Cole grinning, she couldn't help but return his happiness. Delilah grinned at his next comment, "No problem no problem, stop being so apologetic and bashful." She said, poking fun at him. She had to grin, was this flirting? Perhaps, perhaps not. But secretly, she really thought it was. Suddenly, she felt pressure on her shoulder, and she stumbled slightly, but for once, she caught herself. Now she was blushing, perhaps she shouldn't have made fun of him? She stood still now, unable to move let alone walk. "No, I didn't know that." She said, now holding onto her arm, red in the face, slightly awe struck by the boy before her.
Her legs did start working eventually though, and she started walking again, "So, when am I showing you how to fly?" She asked, the spunk returning to the small girl.

Cole loved being playful with Delilah. He had to smile at how this time she was the one who had gotten flustered. "So I'm the bashful one now hey?" Cole said with a smirk on his face that could only say he was having a good time. Cole looked around before he replied to Delilah when she said that she didn't know. "Well now you do, and don't you forget it or I might have to keep reminding you." He said calmly. There aren't a lot of times where everything goes perfect like this, or I am this genuinely happy... Cole thought. He looked over Delilah's way and gave her a huge smile.
As they resumed walking Delilah asked Cole when she was going to show him how to fly. He found himself speechless very quickly. "I am ready whenever you want to, just keep in mind I'm definetly a amateur." He said with a small grin. I can't believe I'm gonna do this... He thought to himself. Honestly he didn't think he could have felt much higher than he did moments before but now he found himself questioning that.

Delilah shook her head and tried to push him back but with no avail. "Yes, you're the bashful one!" Delilah said, feeling the blood rush t her face from attempting to push over the younger year, but apparently he was stronger than that. She kept on walking though, just far enough to look back. "Well, you might just have to keep doing that then." She said with a smile. It wasn't as if she were the type of girl who looked in the mirror every day and saw something appealing to look at.
Delilah grinned now, and took her wand out, "You sure you're ready for this, Mr. Bartlet?" She said, a huge smile on her face and she whisked her wand around before he could answer. "Accio brooms." She said, as her wand gave off a small spark. It'd be a matter of seconds before a couple of brooms would come to them, she just hoped that Cole knew the spell, and that brooms would be flying at them at at any moment.
Suddenly, there they were. "Hold on tight." She said, pointing towards the oncomming brooms so that Cole would notice them. As they neared Delilah braced herself, and mounted the broom mid-air, and the broom kept going with her on it. She laughed and smiled and hovered in the air, waiting to see what would happen to Cole.

Cole watched as Delilah so gracefully mounted the broom. He smirked to himself. Not being one to be shown up by a girl Cole did his best to imitate Delilah. He definetly landed on the broom. However he had managed to land himself on it backwards.Good job Cole! He thought cynically. "So apparently I'm not as good at this as you!" He called to Delilah who seemed to be waiting to see what he would do. Cole hopped down as quickly as he had gotten on. and tried again. This time he made it on the right way, however it wasn't near as graceful as Delilah had been. As he struggled to find his balance Cole realized he was getting closer and found himself finally find a comfortable spot that allowed him to balance out and stay that way. With a triumphant grin he looked over to Delilah.
Wondering what was going to happen next, Cole called over to Delilah "So now that I'm on what happens next?" He asked, slightly scared of the answer yet at the same moment as excited about it as anything he had been in his life. He really like her and he never would have put himself in a comprimising position like this if he didn't know she was worthy of his trust. If he didn't know what he felt for her. Everytime he saw this girl he found himself getting excited and anticipating the time until he would see her again.

Delilah watched as Cole, oh so gracefully, jumped a top his broom, and as he landed on it backwards, Delilah couldn't think of any other word but cute. The petite girl smiled and laughed, her eyes sparkling, "Not bad for a first timer!" She said, balancing with ease on her own broom. She always thought she had great balance because she was so small, and it was easier to pin-point her center of gravity. For a girl full of clumsiness, she was ever so graceful on her broom. She kind of thought of it was a penguin, something dorking and funny on land, but in the water (or air) they were creatures of beauty.
Delilah had glided over to Cole as he dismounted the borrowed broom, and remounted it properly. She smiled and nodded, "There we go." She said, hovering just beside him. Delilah grinned at him after he asked what was to happen next. "Well, now that's up to you." She said, grasping her broom tightly in both hands, she brought herself down almost in line with it. "Hold it tightly, and just imagine yourself moving forward." She said, as she propelled herself forward ever so slightly. Delilah looked back to Cole and smiled, "Don't go to fast." She warned, hoping that he'd listen to her rather than be a typical guy. But hey, he'd done pretty good thus far, maybe he'd surprise her.
