Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry Winter Holiday Canceled
Dragon Pox OutBreak Discovered
Dragon Pox OutBreak Discovered
A student has been discovered to be contaminated by the highly contagious disease known as Dragon Pox. In an effort to contain the spread of the disease, Hogwarts has canceled its annual option of allowing students to return to their respective homes for the Winter Holiday Season. Students will not be allowed off campus until the situation has been contained. This message was released to the parents of students:
Parent and/or Guardian,
We regret to inform you that your child will not be allowed to return home for the Holiday Season. Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry has been placed under quarantine after one of the students was found infected with Dragon Pox**.
In an effort to contain the disease, Hogwarts has been placed under a temporary quarantine. This means that until we are one hundred percent positive that all possible cases of Dragon Pox has been safely corrected, your son/daughter will not be allowed to leave the campus and you will not be allowed to come on campus. This is an effort to assure that everyone remains safe and that the situation is dealt with swiftly without an outbreak in the wizarding world. If your child has been infected, you will be contacted immediately and kept updated on his or her condition.
We assure you that the situation is under control and not related to the organization known as the Deva. Hogwarts is equipped with a well qualified medical staff and will be assisted by St. Mungos Hospital for Magical Maladies. The Quarantine is merely precautionary.
Thank you for your cooperation.

** Muggle Parents and Guardians: Dragon Pox is a disease similar to your "chicken" and "small" pox that occurs in witches and wizards. It is very contagious.
Hogwarts Residents: This means DO NOT post in the wizarding world for the break. All Hogwarts residents will be required to remain on campus.
