There was something refreshing about crossing into an off-limits area in the beginning of Autumn. The colours were changing, but they hadn't gotten to that awful brown colour just yet, they were still the precious fadings of green into yellows, oranges, and reds. The ground-laden plants were starting to wither, but had just enough bloom and blossom left to make for a pretty scene, it wasn't breath-taking, but still beautiful. Overhead Felicity could hear the rustling of particular creatures getting their homes ready for the incoming winter months, she could hear in the faint distance nothing but silence, and yet she was still on the edge where she could hear the welcoming voices of students enjoying one of the last warm days of the autumn season.
Light brown eyes searched the surrounding area, just on the edge of the forest, unwilling to venture further. Her experiences in the forest weren't all too warming to think of, but she still loved the air and atmosphere of being there. Every scent was refreshing, every sight lovely, and every sound alarming.
This was what she needed, a break from the library, from the stone-cold walls of the castle, and from the loneliness she'd found herself enjoying all too much.
Pulling out her camera, the blonde snapped a picture of a fairy hidden in a tree. Or, at least she thought it was a fairy, for all she knew it could've been a large insect she didn't recognize. Even if it really was nothing more than a clump of leaves hidden in shadow, at least the scene was pretty enough. And she was out, relaxing her mind, searching for beautiful things.
