As every good Hogwarts student knew, Tallulah was a prefect. She took her duties to heart and made sure everything went smoothly. Though she wasn't a pushover she was not the strictest of the bunch. But tonight she (figuratively) let her hair down. Wearing a very chic outfit of all black she exited the school and walked toward the Forbidden Forest with a cheeky grin plastered on her face. Oh tonight would be fun. Wand at the ready if anyone snuck up on her she moved quickly over the soggy grass. Had it not rained earlier her plan would have been acted out but Mother Nature had other plans.
On her back was a small bag (also black). Each time she stepped it made a very loud crashing sound. "Damn...should have put on a silencing charm. I knew it!" She muttered to herself as she hid behind a tree. Good. No one following her. It wasn't as if she was breaking curfew. It was still light out. Well, the light was fading. Still. She was in the clear. Taking a few breaths and glancing around once again she took off into the forest's edge and settled down. The ground was wet from the rain. Grimacing at the squelch of the mud/dirt she waved her wand and said a few choice words. The ground was now warm and dry. Sitting down again she pulled her bag off her back and opened it.
Since learning how to do the Undetectable-Extension charm she used it on all of her bags. The ability to make a bag almost endless seemed fantastic! She could hide everything in there. Pens, books, a person even (if she wanted to carry someone around). Her bag was mostly empty tonight, minus the things she needed for her show. Opening the zipped to it's full girth she reached into the bag and started to pull out her fun for the evening. Fireworks. Now Tallulah wasn't one to litter so when this new type came out she just had to try them out. When they exploded all of the debris turned into dust that wouldn't hurt the trees and ground. Also a new feature was soundless fireworks. Another thing that helped with her plan. The sound was sure to wake everyone up. Not that she didn't want more people to join her in her festive fun night, just she didn't want teachers to join.
As she set them on the ground in front of her she ordered them by color. Pinks and golds, greens and purples littered the ground in front of her. Oh this would be a fantastic night indeed.

" Merlin... " Emeric rummaged around his belongings in his trunk, wondering where he had put his sweatshirt from the other day. He hadn't given that particular one to Matty, and he was sure he had had the article of clothing when he went out to the grounds a while ago. He lay on his stomach on his bed and looked underneath it, seeing only a bit of dust and a couple of old papers and notes. " Damn! " He muttered to himself, thinking that he must have left it out on the grounds. He couldn't find his wand either, which was ridiculous of him to misplace something as important as his wand, but he figured he should take things one at a time and find the sweatshirt first.
He cursed himself and his distracted attitude lately, giving his bedpost a nice punch, which of course only resulted in more frustration from the fifteen year old. He groaned under his breath as he left the common room, walking quickly out of the dungeons and into the entrance hall. He scowled at the people around him, immediately sending them off in the opposite direction.
Once out on the grounds he headed for the forest, the last place that he remembered wearing the jacket. As he neared the edge of the forest his brow furrowed in confusion slightly, wondering what someone would be doing out at this time. It was getting darker by the second. He continued walking although slowed his pace, trying to figure out what this person was up to.

"Alright. What have I got here. Forty pink ones, thirty-five golds, fifty greens.." Tallulah spoke quietly to herself as she looked over the piles she made of her extra special fireworks. One may say she had too many but in her eyes this was a trial amount. If she liked them the next order would be much larger. Much much larger. Now the fun began. Which one to try first?
Sitting back she surveyed her empire. Which did she want to start with? Pink was her favorite color but her house colors were green! Unable to pick she grabbed one of each and with her wand set the string on fire. Setting the now sparkling firecracker into the ground a few feet from her she sat back and waited for the glorious lights to shine. And shine they did. Both irrupting at the same time they flew into the sky and burst silently. They fell lazily to the ground like leaves falling off trees. As they touched the ground they instantly went out, turning into dust that was blown away by a small gust of wind.
Squeeing quietly as she watched this an unnoticed visitor noticed her and started walking toward her. It took Tallulah a few seconds to notice someone was walking toward her. Nervousness bloomed in her stomach as she saw the shadow of someone coming closer. The jig was up and she was caught red handed. Hopefully she'd get off with a light warning or at worst a detention.
But who was this person? Surely a teacher would have announced themselves by now. Right? Squinting and leaning forward (as if that would help in this darkness) she tried to see who this was. As the person came closer she noticed that it was a boy. Could it be Dante? She didn't think so. Earlier he said he had a lot of studying to do. Who else could it be? Blinking a few times she let the person walk closer, whoever it was.

Jay walked down into the entrance hall, an turned toward the doorway to the Great Hall. Except the Great Hall wasn't there. Instead, he could see the library inside. He walked in, looking confusedly at the stacks around him. The stairways were constantly in motion, but he had never heard of the rooms themselves moving. It didn't make sense for the Great Hall, which had been totally stationary for the past two years, to suddenly be replaced by the library, which belonged on the second floor. He went up to the librarian.
"Excuse me, but where's the Great Hall?" he asked.
"SHHHHHH!" she scolded.
"But I just wanted to know--"
"SHH!" she repeated.
And then it all ended. Jay had a sense of falling, but the sensation seemed distant and unimportant. He was perfectly content where he was. It was nice. He didn't have to worry about anything. He could just drift, relax, enjoy himself. The sense of comfort permeated him, filled his mind. There was no better place than here in his mind. This was heaven, nirvana, paradise. The feeling was so amazing, it was impossible for it to end.
Then he hit the ground. He was pulled out of the not-quite-sleep state rather more violently than he would have liked. He still had that layer of brain-fog covering his mind, but he was conscious enough to take in his surroundings. The first thing he noticed was that the ground he was on was squishy, wet, and cold. He opened his eyes to see that it was indeed mud. looking upward, he noticed the darkness. There was a tree above him. His mind was starting to clear, and he figured he must have fallen out of the tree to his current position on the ground. The mud would have cushioned his fall, so that's why he wasn't hurt.
Finally, the fact that it was dark resonated with Jay. Dark meant late, late meant past curfew, past curfew meant trouble. That was enough to wake him up fully. He jumped to his feet and looked at his robes. Completely covered in mud. He brushed them off as best he could, but it didn't do much. He wondered briefly what he was doing asleep in the tree. He didn't remember climbing any trees that day. Then he remembered curfew again, and started off toward the castle. Noticing the pair outside, he recognized them as older than him. Which meant one or both of them could be a Prefect which was bad. Slipping back into the edge of the forest, he inched along until he was equal with them. The ground was muddy, though, and he fell flat on his back, making a large cracking noise ad he snapped a pile of sticks. And now his uniform was muddy on both sides. Just great.

The lost sweatshirt was a bit forgotten as he treaded forward, attempting and failing to avoid stepping in puddles of stagnant water and mud from the rainfall the day before. Emeric kept his distance from the person, not wanting them to turn on him if they became suprised and reacted quickly.
Em cocked his head to the side, walking forward and moving around a tree to finally get a good look at the person who was currently leaning over collecting his or her loot. " Tal? What in Merlin are you doing? " He didn't know what was laid out before the girl, he couldn't see because of the darkness in the forest, but he was dreadfully curious why in the devil she was out here in the first place. Snap, snap, snap. Em's head turned violently as he heard the distinctive sound of snapping branches or sticks... He hoped it wasn't a professor, that much he was sure of.
" Hey... who's out there? " The words slipped out before he could stop them, but once he said them he realized that addressing the person was probably a bad idea if it was a Professor or staff member. He hoped not.
