Her mother, Jacequlen de Gant was the second child of the Earl of Lincoln. She was able to have such a successful marriage because she was one of the most famous socialites of post World War 2 Britan and arguably the most important figure in London society. Her family also had a deep hidden secret. Heirs of an old wizarding family, the de Gants saught to cut off all contacts with the magical world during the rise of witch hunts in the late middle ages as they were also members of an old house of England, dating back to the Norman conquest of 1066. The magic didn't go away though and was a deep family secret. However, as Rose got the letter to Hogwarts, her mother quickly saw the benefits to having her most beautiful daughter conquer magical society. It was family arrogance to expand into the magical realm that out did the fear of being discovered by the world of muggles. While such discovery would most likely lead to disaster for Duke Fitzroy and his political career, the risk was worth it. Rose herself grew up as a typical child of the aristocracy did. She was waited on hand and foot. She learned music, languages, politicial science, history, art, and most importantly etiquette. and how to be a member of one of the most influencial families in the country. She was bred and trained personally by her mother to be a top child model.
While learning all the rules and foundations of high society, Rose quickly and secretly found fashion and learned to design herself, an act her mother would surely look down on. Her interest in life is fashion and she was about to take a job shadowing at the Brittish Vogue. She was also in the running for an apprentinceship with the House of Versace. She was told to be everything she was raised and more and thus it helped create two personalities. The personality that the world was supposed to see and fall in love with. And the personality that she had to keep to herself. The one that was artistic and creative and lonely.
[ Pros and Cons : ] Her charm work is excellent being that she finds it the most relevant of the magical arts for her fashion designs. As she was raised to be a premier socialite like her mother, she's very sociable and personable. She is a new mind for the art of fashion and has some very unique designs and outlooks. Potions and history are her two worst classes. She finds potions just a continuation of culinary arts only with magic. Such work she feels is servants duty and completely beneath her. History wise the only history she cares about is that which her family has played a role in. As they ceased to be apart of magical history many centuries ago, she finds it boring and irrelevant. She's afraid of her true self. As such even she doesn't really know herself that well. The front she puts on outside is her shield from the world. She's stubborn and quite arrogant. She treats other beneath her because she was taught to really believe as such.
[Role Playing Example:] Rose stared up at the huge double oak front doors. Holding her head as high as an empress, she pushed open the doors.
After a moment or two of absorbing her new surroundings, she shrugged. It wasn't the biggest castle she'd been in. Her family had a bigger castle in Dover. And it certainly wasn't as grand as their home in London. It however must do for the next few years she supposed.
She read her letter and thought the directions most unsensible. Did these people not know who she was? She was Rose Fitzroy. To not directly see the one who ran this school was simply unexceptable. She looked at her map and saw that she needed to go to the second floor.
As she went up the grand staircase, a picture let out a whistle. She jumped before saying "How dare you you second rate painting....oh dear, did I just speak to a painting?".
She quickly hurried to the second floor as she refused to let whatever startled her know her fear. She found the ugly statue she was supposed to and waited.
After a few moments she noticed nothing happened. "I am Rose Fitzroy of the Southampton Fitzroy's. I demand an to see the headmaster or headmistress. If someone would be so kind...", she said waiting.
