[ Full Character Name: ]Chase Conner
[ Character Gender: ] Female
[ Country of Citizenship: ] U.K.
[ Birthday: ] December 2,
[ Physical Character Description: ]: Chase is pretty average for her age, standing at exactly 5’3. She inherits most of her traits from her mother’s side of the family, which is, to bluntly put it, the better-looking side. She does care about her appearance, a lot actually, and she always feels something is off, like something isn’t right about it. She has dirty blond hair a little shorter than shoulder length. It is silky and straight although she is able to style it to any shape she wants, another trait from her mother. Having such healthy, easy to style hair, Chase likes to…err- experiment with it. She’ll have loads of fun just playing with her hair.
Her nose however, comes from her father’s side. It is a rather short nose, the one aspect about her appearance she hates the most. Her mother always told her that it was cute, but Chase blew her words of comfort off and continued to whine about it. She thought that she looked like a pig with that nose and that she’d have it fixed one day, when she was old enough, she assured herself.
Chase’s eyes are a large almond shape. The line between icy gray and dull blue blur for her, although she always preferred to call them gray. She thought that too many people already had blue eyes and she wouldn’t stand to be another copy, gray was original and that’s what she wanted to be. Her eyes twinkle when she’s happy and burn with poison when she’s angry, her parents always used to comment on that, although she hated it. She had rather long lashes, almost a whole centimeter. That was the only other trait she had received from her father although she actually liked this one.
Overall, Chase is a cute girl with a stubby nose.
[ Personality Character Description: ]She’s always had a short temper. Never could control the wretched thing, and it always got out of hand. Her parents used to think it was so cute whenever she had a temper although soon after she was a toddler, they began to notice the problems. Chase knew she had a temper but she preferred calling it ‘being feisty’ instead of something negative like a short fuse. What sorts of things off set the temper? Well, lets just name a few to begin with. The words you must NEVER call her is the following: cute, adorable and lovable. She absolutely despises those three adjectives. Chase hates anything that will refer to her as a child, even though she is, she prefers to be treated like an adult.
She is a very cheerful girl, regardless her ‘feistiness’. Chase has been known to be happy most all the time and cheer other’s up when they’re down. Her hyperness plays a role. Yes, she is very hyperactive and loud, although she can’t help it. That’s just who she is. Chase likes to be around people for that matter, and will not stand being alone. If she is ever found alone in a place that doesn’t get too crowded, that means that there is something terribly wrong. She is naturally attracted to big crowds.
Chase can be quite a clingy person. She will be very protective of her people and make sure that she has them all to herself. Yeah, it sounds selfish, although she really isn’t. She just doesn’t want them to leave her. She just wants to be happy- with them. When she finds someone she likes, there’s no telling what she’ll do to make them accept her.
Ever since she was a little girl (hehe, she still is), she dreamt about love. That her knight-in-shining armor would come and swoop her up onto his white stallion and they would live happily ever after in his golden castle. She still dreams about that although in a little more of a realistic form. You wouldn’t usually expect that a girl of her age would long for such things although just because she’s a child doesn’t mean she doesn’t have emotions… but she is a little obsessed over the whole ‘love’ idea.
So Chase is the following: feisty, independent, protective and loyal to her friends, a bit superficial (Although I didn’t mention that until now), and of course- a dreamer.
[ History: ]She came from a long line of pure blood families, although she doesn’t talk about the fact so much. She never really thought it was that important since her mother and father never emphasized it. Her mother’s name was Evalene, and her father’s name was Gunner. Chase’s mother and father met in their years at Hogwarts, they told her many stories of how they met although somehow they were all different, perhaps that’s where she get’s her fantasies about love. She didn’t realize these stories were made up until she was around eight, though she didn’t care, she still enjoyed listening to them.
She lived in a large house, although not quite a mansion, in a suburban area in Oregon, US. Her childhood consisted of ice-cream, cotton candy, clothes, wizard hair products, and Bertie Bott’s Every Flavored Beans… oh and of course laughter and flying (who needs running when you have a magic broom?). Her younger years were well enjoyed and she was rather spoiled by her parents, as they adored her too much. She got almost everything she wanted, her parents just didn’t know how to say ‘no’ to her. She didn’t have a problem with that at all though. Whenever she asked for candy, it’ll appear before her instantly, when she wanted a magazine, there it was, the only thing she had to give in return was love and hugs.
As she was growing up, her parent’s were always there for her. They lived in a small wizarding society in Oregon. Her mother was a Hair Dresser for muggles and her father ran a small company that sold wizards crackers and fun things like that. Surprisingly, her mother made more than her father, being magical and all, she could use that in her advantage in the muggle hair styling business. Her customers always walked out the door with a happy face and great hair. Through work and everything, Gunner and Evalene still managed to home school Chase until she got accepted to Hogwarts. They taught her much of the magical history, about beasts and mythology, stars and spells, they managed to cover all the basics of each subject. They didn’t want Chase going to Hogwarts with an empty brain, they wanted her to be ahead of things at all times. Chase proved to be a very worthy student and excited was an understatement when she was accepted to Hogwarts.
[ Special talents/knacks : ] Chase has always been talented in the musical areas, not so much as the physical. She has played the piano since she was around the age of six. Her parents had bought it for her as a birthday present after all her hard work, begging and pouting for a few months. She has never really won an award for her piano skills although she has been through many recitals and such. However, she loves to flaunt the fact that she can play, why should she have to hide such a nice thing?
[Role Playing Example:]
Chase growled as the muggle contraption, oven, thing exploded. “Bad muggle thing! Bad!” she scolded wagging her finger. This was about the third time it happened. How could muggles work with such crap? At this rate she would never get the project done. All the cake batter had been splatter all over the insides of the ‘oven’. She made a face at the ‘oven’ and then reluctantly began to scour it with her wand.
It was strange, usually Chase would never agree upon working with muggle inventions although her father had always told her that if she really wanted to make a gift count the best way is to make it yourself, by scratch. So she thought, what better way to start from scratch than by the muggle way? It began as a wonderful idea although soon she found out how frustrating the whole thing was. It was her mother’s birthday and she felt she wanted to ‘make’ something for her, deciding the appropriate thing was to ‘bake’ a cake. That plan wasn’t working out so well as she had expected.
She scowled after the whole oven was cleaned and collapsed dramatically on the hard wood flooring. What am I going to do? This is NOT working… stupid muggles! What kind of idiots invented this piece of junk? Well, if I’m still sticking to the whole muggle idea then there’s only one more option! She stood up and brushed the baking powder off her nose. For her mother, she would do this, she would venture to the, she gulped at the thought of the wretched place, muggle store. Shuddering, Chase threw the apron somewhere behind her and headed towards the door bravely.
Now if you’re to imagine this situation as it should be then you would see the powder spread freely around the kitchen giving the ‘desert’ sort of feel along with the five foot tall Chase Conner with a red cape tied around her neck, powder all over her new clothes (that she had ordered a few days ago from Witch’s Weekly magazine) and Meiko Kaji’s “Urami Bushim” from Quentin Tarentino’s “Kill Bill” playing softly in the background.
