Actually, she and Drew had done a lot of talking. They'd talked about a lot of options, though they usually just skimmed those that didn't talk about them being together at the end of everything. But it was what they wanted, to be together. Forever and always, it was what his ring on her finger meant. To be together would be a dream come true, and it was going to be a lot of work, but if they worked at it together, then it would work out for both of them. It had to. Otherwise, what was left for them?
Nodding solemnly, she knew a lot could happen, and that scared her. But, what was going to happen was what was meant to be for them, and unfortunately, there was a chance they wouldn't be together. But Allegra's question caught her off-guard.
What did she hope? There was so much.
Looking down at her ring, she fingered it carefully, not having removed it from her finger, not even for showering or classes. "I want to be with him. I want him to ask me to be with him," she admitted quietly. "I'd be willing to change my plans if it means I can be with him. But I have to try at least. I need to be able to do what I want, for a little while, I need to be able to be happy doing what I want to do for a little while first, because I know I'll be happy with Drew, but I also know he'd want me to try first."

[sorrysorrysorry!]
Allegra wasn't exactly sure what answer she had expected from Felicity, but the Gryffindor's response surprised her nonetheless. Had Drew and his girlfriend really talked that seriously about their future? Drew had told Allegra a lot, but she hadn't realized things were really this serious. Perhaps knowing her brother, she should have.
"You mean... like..." she started, wondering if this was the point in the conversation where she'd overstep her bounds. Or worse, make a huge mistake because she had misunderstood what the younger girl meant. "Like... you mean... kind of like... I'd finally get a sister be with him?" Allegra hadn't cared much for Alhana, but she thought she'd be very happy to claim Felicity as a sister.

Nervously stretching her long arms out in front of her, the blonde bent her knees up close to her chest and wrapped her arms around them. She really shouldn't be discussing her hopes and dreams and wants with Drew's sister, but she was more than sure he knew all of them anyway. Being with him was the core of everything to the young woman, and everything else she wanted was to be planned out around him, at least after his training was done. If he moved, she would move with him, she'd thought long and hard about it, and she was more than sure she wanted to be with him that badly.
Nodding carefully, she showed more interest in the ring on her finger than that of the reaction of Drew's sister. The reason was because she was afraid of the reaction. Maybe she'd said much too much and now Allegra would report back to Drew and would frighten Drew. But Drew knew she wanted to be with him, so even if Allegra did say something, he'd be all right with it because he wanted to be with her too. That's what his ring meant.
"I mean, if things turn out all right, and it's all right with everyone else..." If his family didn't like her, then she doubted she could let anything happen. Though he'd warned her plenty of times about his mum, if his family really didn't like her then how could he want to be with her like that anymore?

Allegra had to smile at the answer. Of course she loved her brother, but sometimes he could be a bit of a butthead. Allegra had always thought that having a sister would be absolutely wonderful and having Felicity as a sister was probably something she could really enjoy. That was, of course if the younger girl was willing. Allegra knew Felicity had her own sisters and might not want another one.
"It would be alright for me," Allegra answered carefully. She wasn't sure how the rest of the family would feel and knew already that her mother wasn't too thrilled, but also felt that once they all got to know Felicity, they'd understand why Drew liked her so much.

Glancing quickly up at the other girl, Felicity's eyes were wide with hope. Did she really say what Felicity was sure she heard? That Allegra thought it was all right with her? That was a step. A small one, but still a step. Felicity still needed to meet Drew's mum and Grandmum and try her best to be liked by them. While she knew there were a number of others she needed to impress, those two were the big ones. Drew's mum, of course, would always be important to them, and he loved his Grandmum so much she needed to do well with her.
Reaching for a sandwich, Felicity took a small bite thoughtfully. "Do you think...maybe...I'm thinking too much...right now?"
Was she too far into her own world that she should take a few steps back?

"I don't know... I don't think so... do you?" Allegra answered. She knew she couldn't really truly speak for her brother, but she sure saw how he was when he was with Felicity. He was happier and more focused than she had ever seen him. The blonde Gryffindor was, in her opinion, the best thing that had ever happened to him.
But were they both over thinking things? Drew and Felicity were still teenagers. Could they really be so sure about things before they were even really fully grown-up? She knew there were people who married their high school sweethearts and lived happily ever after, but she also knew it was pretty rare.
"I know Drew really cares a lot about you, more than he's ever cared for anyone else. And I also know that he doesn't give up on something just because it gets a little hard, so when he says he wants to be with you, he's probably in it for the long haul. That isn't thinking too much, is it?"
