Lainee loved this potion, espeically as a girl and she had a crush on that older prince from the Zimba tribe. She tried using it and though she looked older she was still immature in many ways. It didn't work, but it did get her her first drink. Lainee laughed thinking how mischievious she was and almost missed the first child walking into her class.

Drew slipped into the classroom, smiling nervously at the professor who was laughing to herself. He wasn't sure he wanted to be alone with the woman, so he took a seat in back after mumbling a hello. The far seats also had the added advantage of being less noticeable, which suited Drew just fine.
He waited until she turned away and kept his head down low as he slipped his glasses on, skimming the notes he probably wouldn't be able to make out later. He glanced up every once in a while, checking on Jamboreema and the door, yanking the rims off of his face as soon as he heard someone else coming in.

"Alright, gotta do the Astronomy chart, History essay, and.... dangit! I forgot about Defense!" Her calm stroll broke out in a jumble as she spilled out her books next to Drew. "Dude, can I copy your Astro chart? I was... ah, I just didn't do it." She was too flustered with her own school business to notice Drew's quick scramble to hide his glasses. She had to worry about not flunking out.

"If I can see your Charms homework," Drew offered. He had done it, but hadn't really had time to make sure it was right.
Then again he wasn't sure that was a fair trade off.
"You know I suck at Astronomy, right?" he warned her, nervously running his hand through his longer than usual hair. He had purposefully skipped getting a haircut over vacation in the hopes that it would add some camouflage.

"DAM--We had Charms homework, too?!?" Charlie cursed herself for being flimsy because of the holidays. She had completely disregarded her homework and study ethic. "I don't really care 'bout you sucking, I just need to write it down. I don't understand what the heck they're talking about half the time."

The lectures and readings, he got for the most part. It was trying to translate the words into a bunch of little dots of light that honestly looked all the same to him. Mars was the red one and the sun was the very very big one. That was about all he knew.
He forked over his star chart, figuring it was pretty fair after all, considering she didn't care how wrong it was and had obviously not even started the Charms.
"Those Time-turner things should be standard equipment to all fifth years, you know?" he grumbled. How could anyone expect decent OWL scores, a good quidditch season AND a healthy amount of goofing off? It wasn't possible.

Like a happy dog, she fetched his chart and scribbled down the answers onto hers. It was anxious, her handwriting, and you would need some sort of decoding device to read it. But that was fine with her. She had three other subject to get done. "Break?" She said out of the blue as she continued scribbling without looking at him. Realizing one word didn't make a adequate question, she restated it. "Yours? Was it good?"

"Decent enough," Drew answered, slouching down low in his chair as he watched her copy his homework. If he was lucky, she might catch a mistake and he could fix it.
yeah, right...
"I got my driver's license, so that was cool," he told her. Sure, not everyone at school got the big deal, but he was still pretty proud of it. "So how did your vacation go? Hiro said he was going to hang out over there a bit."

Charlie seemed to slow down at his question, but didn't stop scribbling. She had some kind of work ethic, alright. She smiled. "Pretty good. Cramped, but pretty good." She sped up as she got to the ending of where they needed to stop. Stabbing the parchment victoriously, she handed the chart back to him. "Got anything else you might wanna let me copy?" She had a smirk on.

Drew took back the Astronomy chart and traded her for his Charms homework. "Good? Like what kind of good?" he asked, noting her smile and wondering if it was for vacation or not having to do her own homework. He'd definitely try to get more details from Hiro when he could.

Nic walked into class to see only Prof. Jambo whom seem to still be laughing at something or maybe it was Drew and Charlie. His two favorite peeps. "Yo, what's hap-pah-nin!" Nic sat down in front of Drew and turned the chair around so that he faced both Charlie and Drew. "Yo, I'm never goin out of town on the hols again, fore real son. Parents just don't understand." Nic did the beat to the Will Smith old school song. "But on the real, Lily and I are back together again! I can't believe this." Nic had a huge kool-aid grin on his face.

"Good, like the kind that's not bad or crappy. It was good," Charlie said as she let no hint come on. But she was quite grateful to see Nic there, but said nothing on the subject of Lily. "Er... okay..." She had a deep aversion for the girl, simply because Lily wouldn't get over the bad day jinx that happened a good year ago.

"Cool," was Drew's short and casual answer to the news of Lily and Nic. He still considered Lily a friend, but the two Ravenclaws had kind of drifted apart over the last year. He still cared what happened to her, but really didn't go out of his way to hang out with her either.

Lainee listened to the conversation uninteninally of course it was just a bit interesting. She could see Nic was oblivous but it seemed his two friends weren't quite as thrilled about Lily as he was. Lainee held back a chuckled that only she knew the meaning behind and waited a few more minutes before she starred the class.

Sakuya slowly walked down the dark corridors of the dungeons, the flickering torches lighting her way as she slowly made her way towards class. The bottoms of her pink sneakers, which well complimented her light pink blouse and her tight jeans, echoing upon the stone floor as she turned the corner, spotting the class. The fingers of her dainty right hand grasped the doorknob as she turned the knob, entering the room.
Her eyes saw many people that she didn't know, which was normal since she was new. She saw the professor standing in front of the class and smiled at her,
"Hello Professor..."
