Exploring the dungeons was always fun and since it was Seanna's last and final year at Hogwarts, she was determined to find at least the end of the dungeon corridor. For as long as Seanna could remember, every time she went exploring the dungeons, she went further and further, never ending up at the finish, but rather at crossroads with paths jutting every which way and steps heading to who knows where.
Seanna never took the steps when she had found them, figuring they would only lead her up to the first floor while she wanted to stay in the dark dungeons. The dungeons were one of her very favorite spots to hang out in, because she never knew what to expect and she almost always discovered something new that she hadn't seen beforehand.
Stepping out of the Hufflepuff common room, Seanna quickly made for the deeper depths of the dungeons, turning another corner into a new corridor from where the potions classroom was. School robes still on, she tightened them around her, feeling the cool draft coming from the cracks in the bricks. Even in the section that was still relatively underneath the first floor, she could hear the drip of running water slipping inside the cracks from the storm outside that had started an hour earlier and dripping onto the dungeon's floor.
The day was an absolutely spooky day for going exploring in the dungeons, and even though Seanna sometimes panicked when things were getting spooky or just plain weird, she was determined not to let that rule her, for she was out for fun that day and finding new things in the depths of the dungeon. Turning another corner, the huffle came to a darker corridor than the one she was in previous and she shivered a bit, pausing just slightly to compose herself.
Breathing in deeply, Seanna put one foot in front of the other and let her breath out, while she did the same to the other foot, her curious brown eyes scanning the corridor, in hopes of spotting something different.

Drew had just finished one of his excursions to the kitchens, and his back pack now full of snacks that would hopefully suffice for a day or two, the lean and lanky Ravenclaw was on his way back to the Eagle's nest to store his stash until it was needed. There was no rule against visiting the kitchens, but at the same time there was an understanding that it wasn't encouraged, so Drew walked the lower hallways quietly, seeing no one save for one familiar back heading away from the Hufflepuff common rooms.
Drew decided to tail her, just for fun, to see how far she was going and how long he could go undetected. Seanna turned corner after corner as if she knew exactly where she was going, but when she paused in front of a particularly dark corridor, Drew stopped as well.
The Huffle Prefect took one slow step and then another and Drew made a decision to sneak up behind her. Without a word and as quietly as he could, he slipped up behind her and placed one hand on her shoulder.

Seanna was about to put another foot in front of the other foot, but when she felt a hand on her shoulder, she stopped completely, almost frozen like. Foot in air, eyes wide as they could be, Seanna tried to stop the panic that was rising in her and managed to somewhat do so, when she was able to put her foot on the ground through the haze that engulfed her.
Hand reaching down to her right pocket of her robes, she reached in and pulled out her wand, just in case the something behind her wasn't a student, seeing as how she was sort of passed the normal standards of the dungeons corridors, Seanna felt she needed to be safe rather than sorry, before she turned around and saw whoever it was at the back of her.
Feeling safe now that she had her wand in her right hand, Seanna took another deep breath and turned around very slowly. Instead of saying a spell, her lips curved into a smile when she who it was. "Drew!" Seanna exclaimed, a little bit louder to be heard over the heavy rain and thunder that was still roaring outside. "It's you!" Seanna lowered her wand, feeling relieved that it was the Ravenclaw prefect and nothing else that had came up behind her.

Knowing the dangers of sneaking up behind someone in a dark corridor, Drew was prepared for some sort of defensive manuver, but was relieved when the Hufflepuff lowered her wand. Even so, he jumped as an especially loud rumble of thunder echoed through the castle walls and he had to laugh at his own skittish behavior.
"Just me," he answered with a wide grin. "I saw you leaving the common room. What are you doing down this way anyway?"

"Exploring and trying to find the end of the dungeon corridors. It's been on my list of last things to do before I leave" Seanna explained to Drew, deciding to keep her wand out just in case she did find something that wasn't supposed to be down in the dungeons, at least she'd have some sort of protection. Plus, Seanna knew there were even darker corridors than the one she was standing in, she'd only have to take her wand out down the track anyhow.
"Sorry about the wand and everything. It's just... well, you never know whose around these days" Seanna shrugged her shoulders and gave Drew a sheepish grin back. "So what brings you down to the dungeons on this rainy night?" Seanna shivered as the dungeon corridor became illuminated by a rather big show of lighting outside and she tightened her robes around her, glad that she was actually inside the castle instead of outside where the storm was raging.

Drew had to laugh as he thought of all of the things he felt he had to do before they left school in June. He was still trying to decide when would be the best time to try climbing up the side of the Astronomy tower again. He couldn't risk getting expelled this close to the end, but at the smae time, it was something that had to be done.
He shrugged off her appology and gave one of his own. "I should know better than to sneek up on people, right?" he told her with a crooked grin. "Sorry, but I just couldn't resist."
"I was just coming back from the kitchens," he answered, patting his backpack of booty. "I really wasn't doing anything. Can... can I tag along?"

"Yeah, you should" Seanna agreed with Drew on his assessment of himself and sneaking up on people. 'I could've stunned you accidentally or something" It was what she was planning to do if the person behind her had turned out to be anybody else besides Drew or someone else she knew. "It's okay, though. You're still alive, I'm still alive and I probably shouldn't be exploring the deeper depths of the dungeons by myself while there's a storm on anyhow"
"The dark kinda creeps me out and I usually go exploring when it's sunny out. I'd thought I'd try something different" Seanna let Drew know. There were only a few people that knew that she was afraid of the dark somewhat, and Krissy had been one of those persons that knew. Though, Seanna trusted Drew enough to know that he probably wouldn't blab around the she somewhat confessed to still being scared of the dark.
The thunder clapped loudly again, followed by another shot of lighting that made the corridors come to light and Seanna jumped slightly when she thought she heard a door slam in the distance. "As long as you can put up with a panicky Huffle now and again, you're welcome to join me" Seanna answered, feeling kind of silly for jumping at the door slamming. It was just the wind, that's all it was.
"So, what kind of food did you manage to get?" Seanna asked Drew, trying to take her mind of things as she started to walk down the dark corridor, this time with her wand at the ready.

Drew smirked back, confident that while Seanna was pretty good with a wand, he would have been able to avoid what ever she threw at him. Then again, she had been at a point blank range. On second thought, he probably was a bit lucky.
"It's more fun this way," he claimed with a wide grin. He lit his wand and held it high above his head so that the light swept ahead of them down the hallway. The thunder rumbled again and Drew noted her jumpiness. He elbowed her playfully, hopefully letting her know he would be there if she got too scared. "I think I can handle that," he told her.
At the question of what he had brought, he swung his backpack to the front and opened it up to show her the contents. "I've got a few apples," he said, sure that most people knew he always had a few of those on his person. "Cookies... a couple of brownies... and a bag of chips... crisps," he continued.

Seeing Drew light up his wand, Seanna decided to do the same thing, thinking that it was a great idea to do so. "Yeah, that's what I'm aiming for. I've explored the dungeons in the daytime countless times, but never in a storm, or in the near dark, like now. There's bound to be something I've missed in the dungeons by not exploring them in the dark" Seanna was positive that there was probably something that she had missed by not exploring the dungeons in the dark time. A glowing door, something amiss that was not supposed there... she just had to find it.
"Great!" Seanna exclaimed when Drew said he was able to handle a panicky Huffle. The girl was sure there'd be more episodes of her becoming panicky down the track if she couldn't control the emotion. "Brownies?" Seanna asked, stopping and swinging her wand to look inside the bag that Drew was carrying. "Yum! Is it alright... " Though, the Huffle froze again when she heard another door slam in the distance.
"That was just the wind making that door slam, right?" Seanna asked, after a couple of minutes of trying to figure out which way the slamming of the door was coming from. The Huffle had decided in the end, it was just the wind again, but she had to ask Drew if he had heard the door slamming or not.

"So we'll have an adventure," Drew added with a crooked smile, already moving forward when he heard a door slam.
It could have been a number of things and come from just about any direction. The hallways below the castle tended to be drafty, but on the other hand, the doors were usually quite heavy and not apt to swing unless something stronger caused it to.
"I guess we'll find out, won't we?" he asked, raising his wand higher and walking slowly down the corridor as he looked over his shoulder at the Hufflepuff.

Seanna wasn't too sure if she wanted to find out if it was just the wind or not slamming that door shut, but the curiosity was already starting to kill her a bit and she swallowed the panic that was making it's way up in her throat. "Eventually" Seanna replied to Drew, standing up properly, shining her wand in the Ravenclaw's direction as she walked up next to him. The Huffle just hoped that the door in question was far away and she wouldn't run into it too soon.
"Yup, an adventure in the dungeons to find the end of the never ending dungeon corridors" Pausing, Seanna thought a bit about what she just said. "Or well, I hope we can find the end of the dungeon corridors. They just seem to keep going on forever and ever" The huffle let out a frustrated sigh, in her all times searching the underground of Hogwarts, Seanna never quite made it to the end of the dungeon corridors. There were times when she thought she had found the end, but only to discover there was another corridor heading down the opposite way from her.
"But I'm certain we will find the end... eventually" Seanna said, more to herself than to Drew. Brown eyes scanning the path ahead of her, the Huffle noted that the rain escaping through the cracks in the walls to the inside of the dungeons, seemed to be running faster in this corridor to the one before and the Huffle hoped that they wouldn't come across a flooded corridor later on in their adventure.

"There has to be an end eventually, doesn't there?" he asked before thinking that it didn't really need to be so in a castle where staircases moved and classrooms appeared and disappeared at will. He considered the possibility of being lost down in the dungeons forever, but decided it was best not to mention it to Seanna.
Drew continued down the corridor, staying close to the wall and keeping his wand held high. He noticed a few doorways and offshooting hallways to the one they were traveling, and Drew turned back to Seanna. "If you want to go down any of these others, let me know, okay?" he said with a grin.

"Sadly, no" Seanna shook her brown head, her lips turning into a frown. "I'm hoping there could be an end, but I know there's the possibility that there couldn't be an end, either" Seanna pulled her robes around her even more, making them more tighter than they were previously. With the water that was creeping through the cracks, came the wind howling through as well, and the further that she walked along the dungeons, the colder the wind got.
"Especially with the castle changing so much, the dungeons one day will have an end, and the next day, they might just keep going and going, even we could just keep walking and find ourselves not being in the dungeons but somewhere else in the school. I found myself outside in the courtyard once" Seanna innocently turned into a corridor in one of the lower parts of the dungeons, and found herself outside in the courtyard. So she knew while yes, there could be an end, there was even a bigger possibility that there couldn't, but it was fun just to explore the dungeons anyhow.
Stopping when Drew asked which way she wanted to go, Seanna spied some doorways, but the Huffle really didn't want to go into any of the rooms down here, after hearing some door slamming just moments before. Brown eyes scanning the two ways, Seanna decided that turning right would be better than turning into the left hallway. "Let's go this way" The Huffle replied to Drew, shining her wand down the right hallway, where Seanna could see a few lighted up torches hanging on the wall.

Again, Drew thought of the possibilities of the dungeons going on forever. He was confident that eventually, they'd be able to get out, but considered the possibility of the hallways changing behind them. Backtracking their steps to get out might not be an option. Good thing he had food.
Drew wasn't sure what made Seanna choose the hallway on the right over the other on the left, but figured it didn't really matter. Or at least it didn't matter until he thought he felt something brush past his leg. Telling himself it was just a large rat, he decided not to mention the incident to Seanna.
"We should have brought a piece of paper to make a map," he mentioned as he raised his wand higher, thinking that maybe next time he would plot the hallways out.
