How dare they. I mean really? Was any of this stuff the school was doing that necessary? And for that matter, when was the last time a school was able to tell him he couldn't go home for winter. Dante was livid about the entire situation. One guy gets sick, and now everyone isn't allowed to do anything? And for what? Some magical form of chicken pox? Dante had chicken pox several years ago, but he remembered that they were not all that horrible. But that was a long time ago, and this was the first time Dante had ever heard of a Dragon Pox illness. At least, that he remembered. It was late sure, far later than someone should be walking around in the dungeons. But he needed to walk around, he needed to cool off from being so outraged about this. A series of coughs escaped the Ravenclaw as he wondered around. Nothing fantastic about his cough, it had been with him a few days now. But such was the cost a cold took, it was almost over anyway. It just wasn't fair, he was almost over his sickness so why did he have to stay put? This was nothing like Dragon Chicken Pox, or whatever. His fever came and went, as did the cough, it was obviously a cold. Losing his balance for just a second he stumbled over to a wall and propped himself up against it. Rising back up he noticed a door to the side of him, between stumbling and the closing off of the school he needed to do something. The door was in the wrong place at the wrong time. He kicked at one of the doors out of frustration, and to his surprise it opened. Either he was stronger than he knew, or the door had been left open on accident. It was the classroom they taught the potions lessons in. He looked around just to make sure that no one was close, that no one had heard the commotion and come running. He wouldn't wait forever to get a reaction from down the empty halls. So when no one bolted down the hall, Dante stepped into the room. Sure he wasn't supposed to be here, and he wasn't the top at his potions class last year. But by now he was sleepy, and still very upset he walked between the chairs in the room, pacing. He scratched his back, and then the top of his head, in part to think of his next move. (Permission Granted for this Thread as well )

Jax wasn’t sick yet, or at least she didn’t feel sick at all. She hadn’t had any coughing fits, or any fevers, or any lightheadedness, so she figured that she was immune to whatever was going around. She didn’t pay much attention any ways for what was really rubbing her raw was that she couldn’t see her father for Christmas. They said it was that Cronon Huffle guy that had got the pox or something, and Jax just couldn’t believe that just because he got them, they all were being punished for it. She sighed, really upset, for she wanted to see her father… she was finally going to tell him about Snake and how much she truly loved her best friend, and girlfriend.
Shoving her hands in her blue jean pockets, Jax sighed and wandered around the halls. Sure there were no classes to get to by this time, for they had ended to make way for some kind of break for winter, but the girl was restless and most seemed not even fit enough to go outside and play with her in any way. Jax grumbled to herself and shook her head. What kind of winter was this going to be any ways? Seriously.
Reaching the Dungeons, Jax decided to make her way toward the Slytherin dorms to knock upon the entrance to see if Emerick, Tallulah, or Connor was there. Maybe one of them would be up to doing something… anything that could be fun. As she continued to walk, however, there was an open classroom, or at least a classroom that Jax peered through the windows of and saw another pacing back and forth in. Were they waiting for something to happen or someone to come? Jax could only wonder, but her curiosity wanted to know more… or at least if she could help with whatever he was doing.
Opening the door and allowing herself entrance, Jax raised an eyebrow and looked at the kid. He didn’t look to good, but all the same, he looked familiar. “Hey… you ok?” Jax said, her hands still in her pocket as she stood at a cock-eyed sort of stance. “Because, you looked just as bored as I feel right about now.” Now all Jax could hope was that more were coming and that this kid was having some kind of secret party he’d invite her to… frankly, anything was better than waiting around here to just get sick, or do nothing.

Tallulah stormed out of her common room about ready to kill something or someone. Their winter break was canceled this year. This was all due to an outbreak of Dragon Pox, something she had already had when she was younger. He parents exposed her to another kid with it so they could get it over with. All Tallulah wanted was to go home, go to some gala events, maybe see Emeric or Brandon at one of those parties, and be around her own kind and now that was stolen from her. If she found out who started this epidemic that ha ruined her winter she might just have to curse them to oblivion. Scoffing at the situation she stomped on out, totally forgetting she was still in her school uniform.
She turned down a dark hallway, smiling at the cover the darkness gave her. She felt like everything was different now. Nothing could harm her here. Not that stupid Pox everyone was getting like it was in style. Huffing again from frustration she walked down ever further. Her eyes were glued ahead of her as she moved along. She noticed something blonde go into a classroom ahead of her. Speeding up she noticed it was Jax from some of her classes. Smiling she walked after the girl, following her into a classroom.
When she entered she noticed a boy who looked less then his best. He was coughing and looking just plain out of it. Tallulah kept her distance as she came over to Jax. "And what are you two Ravenclaws doing in here after hours?" Her tone was playful and almost sweet. She was having a good time down here. She nodded to the boy, still grinning. "You don't look so well. Might want to pop up to the hospital wing for a check."

Pacing still Dante had missed the sound of the door opening behind him, and jumped a little when he heard a voice asking him questions. Spinning toward the voice he saw some girl standing there. He had a feeling he knew who it was, but couldn't put a name to the face. She was a Ravenclaw, and probably close to the same age. It didn't matter who it was though really. He would have responded to the question of being okay, but this girl continued. "Because, you looked just as bored as I feel right about now". Bored, yeah that was a good word for it. Not exactly the anger Dante was feeling, but it would do for now.
Still, he had yet to say a word when yet another girl entered the room. This one he did not recognize at all other than she was a Slytherin. "And what are you two Ravenclaws doing in here after hours?" So many questions to be answered and no time in between to answer them, he was beginning to feel overwhelmed. Just needed to take them one at a time, turning to the first girl he answered her, “Doll, I'm bored out of my mind.” He then turned just slightly to the Slytherin closer to the door,“And I have no idea what she's doing here, other than being bored. I'm out walking because I'm upset 'cuz I'm stuck here at school over Christmas. I mean, some stupid kid gets sick and now I suffer for it?” He was getting more upset with each passing minute of the conversation. Which was unlike him, even subconsciously he found himself asking why he was so upset. Perhaps it was the slight lightheaded feeling, or the mild fever, or the combination of those with the bad news of the day.
"You don't look so well. Might want to pop up to the hospital wing for a check. "
Dante shrugged off the comment, he felt pretty good for what it really was worth. “Naw, I'm good, just getting over the end of a cold, the cough has all but gone away. And the fever isn't as bad as it was a few days ago.” He smiled attempting to show how healthy he felt. Even standing straight up in order to look still healthier. “This stinks though” his smile turning into a frown, “we're stuck at this damn school going through the daily routine knowing how much fun everyone is having at home usually this time of the year. It's just not fair!” He kicked a chair and it slid a good way toward the wall before tipping on a crack and crashing sideways to the floor.
He hadn't intended for it to fall over, just to slide to the side a bit. But it fell anyway, and just in front of a table covered in potions. A gesture unlike his normal behavior, but nothing about today was normal. Today was trouble instead. “Hmmmm, I wonder what all of these do. Hey girls, if we're stuck here for a break, lets have some fun shall we?” His smile was back as he walked forward making his way to one of the tables covered in potions. He didn't want to smash anything up really, violence was just not Dante's style. But what about swapping around some potions from vial to vial. Now that could start some issues in the next class.

Her eyes opened a bit wider as the kid seemed a bit jumpy about something. Jax looked around the classroom she knew to be the potions room, and then back at the guy. There wasn’t anything there to be jumpy about, or so Jax thought, so why was the kid on edge? She could only begin to wonder. As it seemed he opened his mouth to speak back to her and to answer all of her questions, another entered the room. This time, she jumped as a somewhat familiar voice fluttered into her ear. It was the pretty-as-a-vicious-serpent-girl, Tallulah from Slytherin that Jax was finding that she liked more and more as they went along. Jax looked over her shoulder like, crossed her arms and smirked at the girl. It was just yet another Slytherin to add to her list of friends from that house; that was excellent in Jax’s mindset.
The guy across from where she stood began to talk, and Jax’s eyes darted back over to him. Doll, I'm bored out of my mind. No. He didn’t just call her what she thought she heard… did he? Jax raised an eyebrow and looked at the kid, opening her mouth to say something when he started to talk to Tallulah to answer the questions she had said to the both of them. He called her doll? Jax was a lot of things, but that was a new one and one that Jax wasn’t too sure she liked. Did she look like something little girls, that were not her or like her, played with? She scoffed, only scoffing a bit more as he spoke for her, answering Tallulah.
Jax looked at her watch to see what time it actually was…. “Tallulah… we have half an hour,” Jax said letting the Snake look at her watch. It could have been true that her watch was broken, but it wasn’t that late was it? Later than what the two Ravens probably should have been out by, especially way down in the dungeons… but after curfew? “Plus, as the guy said… they took away our holiday. We should have the right away to do whatever we please.” Again, Jax crossed her arms. How, or when rather, was she going to tell her father about Snake now? She sighed annoyed like.
It’s just not fair!
The kid had that right, and after his long speech about the school keeping them, Jax could only nod and agree full heartedly. “Tell me about it.” But Jax knew that life wasn’t fair… she knew first hand that people were cruel, and normally, she wouldn’t be hanging out with her housemates for just that very reason. But this guy seemed ok… and even better when he spoke up about the potions on the desk.
Hmmmm, I wonder what all of these do. Hey girls, if we're stuck here for a break, lets have some fun shall we?
Jax looked back at Tallulah and smirked playfully. “Less you’re scared,” she snickered, jesting with the girly out of the two of them. She may not have been like the other girls in their classes, but she definitely still wasn’t like Jax. She could tell, or assumed she could, just by the way she acted around some of the guys. The smile told all to Jax, too. She started walking over toward the other Raven and nodded her head. “I’m in. Whaddya have in mind? Oh… and it’s Jax, pumpkin,” she mocked. “Not, doll.”

Tallulah smirked as the boy answered her question. He didn't look well, not at all. She took a few steps forward, sitting in a desk in front of the boy. She turned the chair around as to face him. With a playful smile she looked over to Jax, happy to see a familiar face. She turned back to the boy, "I know how you feel. All I wanted for this christmas was to go home and go to a few parties, open presents at home and visit Knocktur-." She stopped for a second, thinking it best not to finish that sentace. "Well, to visit some stores."
With a quick glance around the room she sighed quietly. With a slight pout she looked back over to the boy, looking him over. He's cute.., She though, her eyes focusing on his face, Not that bad. She smirked, her eyes playfully looking away. "You still should go to the Hospital Wing, you know? Just in case." With her finger she twirled a peice of her hair absentmindedly.
She finally answered Jax, turning to the girl. "Naughty. Best not to get caught. But you're right. They've taken away our christmas, we should be able to get free run of the castle...or something like that." Tal liked Jax. She was quite fun. Not like the other shrilly voiced girls. She had a form of class, something most people could never have. Tal could easiely see the two of them being friends and hanging out.
The boy spoke again, asking them if they'ed like to have some fun. Never being one to turn down some fun, Tallulah walked over to where the boy was and started to switch potions around, her smile growing. "Oh, I'm so rude. I'm Tallulah." With a smirk she pointed to herself. "I'd be the one you call 'doll'". Her smirk was seductive, and a little evil.
A potion in hand she moved to the other side, her eyes now glued to the desk. She moved potions around, trying to mix them up so it would take time to put them back in order. Her pale hand picked up a particular vial that held a bright pink potion that was glowing. The light was pulsing slowly, making it look like a christmas light. "If we got enough of these we could light our own tree."

Pumpkin? Really? Dante thought himself a lot of things, but not one of them involved squash. “Well Jax, I was thinking we could switch some of these potions around, cause some disarray when anyone wants to mix things, and throw them all out of order.” Smiling at the thought of the possibilities this could have. If done right, it would go unnoticed for some time and take just as long to sort back out. He took several vials from the table and began to put them on a few shelves close by. Then taking some of the other potions that were on the shelves he sorted them randomly on the table.
Jax and Tallulah. Jax was an easy enough name to remember, but Tallulah, now that was going to be a bit to remember right off the bat. So when the girl offered to be called doll, he let a smirk run across his face. That will make it easier to remember. “Introductions all around I suppose then,” he spoke as he worked on a few more vials. “My name is Dante, a pleasure to formally meet you both.” As he spoke he began to tug lightly on one of the labels on the potions, hoping to get the whole image off without tearing it. If he could get the labels off then he could start switching those around as well. It was a key element to the disarray this was going to cause. He was really focused on what he was doing, as the slightest tear might result in the label being unusable. Still other vials had symbols that could be altered on them. Triangles could be turned into hourglass like figures, and circles with a line drawn threw them. Ideas for what to do kept flashing into Dante's head. They had some time to kill, so hopefully they could get to do many of the plans. The more they were able to do the more mess it was likely to cause in the long run.
“Well doll, that is indeed a wonderfully colorful and glowing potion. I can only imagine what it does.” Not that the effect really mattered at this moment. When she mentioned it being usable for a Christmas Trees. In Italy his family had never really put up a tree for Christmas, it just wasn't something they did. So the concept of lights in a tree was still new to Dante, and he raised his eyebrow in curiosity about it. His traditional Italian feast would have to be something slightly more English this year he supposed. Nothing like the fish that covered the table at his grandmothers house. All this thinking about not being able to go home and enjoy such activity brought Dante's smile down to a blank expression.
He finally got the label removed and began to try and stick it to another bottle, directly over the label it had on already. Rubbing it onto the bottle so it would stick smoothly. “Hey Jax, what do you think? This good enough that no one would notice the switch?” His eye for it was a little blurry from focusing on it for so long.

Again, Jax examined the other girl just slightly, trying to make up her mind whether or not she liked her. She did, because she wasn’t like the other girls, and because she had a kind of spunk to her that Jax didn’t find in most their age… or rephrased… most girls their age. The guys, Jax found this kind of spark all the time… they didn’t care about getting into trouble, and in Snake she found this kind of energy, but it was rare to find a girl with it… maybe she just wasn’t hanging around the right girls. Yup, definitely wrong house she found herself in.
Tallulah smiled and Jax snorted. She could tell that there was something about her though that would allow another thing to get in the way, and as Jax moved around slowly she saw the smile she gave Dante and nodded to herself. Yup, again, there it was. The same smile the girl had given Emeric in their Charms class that they all had together. This girl may not have been like the others, but she still had a weakness for the male gender. Again, Jax snickered to herself, listening as Dante introduced himself and Tal made a note that she was the one who he could call ‘doll’. Oh, seriously?! Jax said to herself, trying to refrain from laughing all over the place, pouring the potions and whatnot.
Of course, even with the slight distraction, it seemed the boy took no notice and Tal did the same, both going back to the potions and the task at hand. Thank Merlin for small favors, was the only thing that Jax could think. The two were business first, and Jax liked that. Another reason to like the Slytherin girl… work now, play later. That was key in Jax’s opinion about these things…
She watched carefully as Tal examined the bottles and Dante started to peel the labels off really slowly. Jax could guess what he did next without even looking and she giggled in suspense. Finally, as she neared the desk and leaned on it just slightly, Dante turned to her and showed her the bottle. “I see we have ourselves here a master…” Jax snorted and rolled her eyes. She thought for a moment, thinking that she wanted something else just a bit more fun to do… and then she remembered something she hadn’t yet used…
“Wouldn’t it be even more hilarious if we encased some of the bottles in a powdery like substance.. oh, say…” she paused, a sly sort of smirk crossing her features. “Magic Egyptian Illusion Powder…” Jax mocked Proffesor Griffihs, as she looked at Tal, wondering if she had been in their first History of Magic class, and with ease, she pulled the little bag out from her pocket and showed the two others.
“Observe my friends…” Jax said, taking two of her fingers and grabbing a bit of the dust she hadn’t yet used in between them, placing them on the desk and then thinking to herself what she’d want to make. “It’s illusion dust I got from our first lesson in History of Magic with that Griffiths guy. He let us take some out of the class with us, and I’ve yet to use it. How it works, is that you think of something and you blow it…” Jax blew the dust and thought of a golden snitch. Instantly from the dust, a golden snitch materialized and started flying around the room.
“It’s only an image, so it won’t hurt anything… but if we put it on a bottle or two, and when the bottle is handled someone blows on it, or even just breaths on it… whatever they’re thinking about would materialize in front of them. It would be hilarious, no?” she giggled, thinking of all the things that could materialize in front of a person. The crush they were thinking about just at that particular time… they’re worst fear making them drop and break the potion open… oh, it would be fantastic!

Tallulah smirked at Dante and Jax. These were her kind of people. They didn't want to hurt anyone, just have a little fun. Most people would worry about what would happen in the end, but Tallulah just wanted a little fun. Besides everything that Tallulah switched she made sure that it wouldn't hurt anyone if they used the wrong ingredient.
Her eyes went back down to a vial we was holding. She tried to pull the tab off but noticed that is was ripping slightly. She pulled out her want and said a few choice words that took the tab off. Smiling down as her handiwork she did the same thing to a different vial and switched the tabs. Placing them back down she looked at what they were doing. "This is going to take a while to sort out!"
Jax took out some power that she found in History of Magic class. Tal found some too but left it in her room. When Jax showed them what its powers were her grin turned malicious. Tallulah nodded in approval of Jax's idea. "I like it. Sounds like a prime plan." She turned away and moved over to another table. Grabbing some already made potions she started to switch their tabs.
Her eyes went back to the Ravenclaws behind her. She stared at both of them for a few seconds, looking them over. She really liked Jax. She was someone Tal could see herself inviting over to her home over the summer or something. She looked at Dante. She didn't know him but from this night she could probably see them hanging out again.

The powder was a great idea. Dante had long forgotten about the lesson involving it when he had taken History of Magic. “Perfect for what we are doing” he laughed, impressed that his fellow Ravenclaw thought of such a prank on the fly. He would leave the dust to Jax, and Doll was doing just fine switching labels.
He switched one last potion's place before he took a little break to scan what they had done so far. All in good fun, right? He would hate to be the person to have to clean up after all this. And so long as they were careful they probably could get away with it. At least that was the hope.
But what they needed now was a distraction from the potions. Something that would set people off, letting them know something had happen in the area. But not bring their focus to the major prank. It was the most important part to the perfect trick, the minor trick that warned, but usually set people in the wrong direction. Then when they let their guard down, they would be hit by the major joke. Perhaps something involving...yes, the tables, but what to do.
He was focusing on the work at hand more than anything else. It was work right now to Dante. This was not a game, the game was when it was finished and you get to hear the rest of the school talk about what happen in Potions the next class. His face reflected this thought, as the smile he usually wore had turned to nothing more than a blank, emotionless expression which was clearly focused on a goal. Everything had to be right the first time, no mistakes.
“If only B were here, he would be able to learn quiet a bit from you two.” Letting a smile escape as he jested. He knew they would not know what he was talking about, but he had no intention of continuing with that discussion. Tallulah might even know his little apprentice, but he doubted Jax would.
Back to thinking about what to do with the tables as he took another label and, this time less carefully, replaced it. There were a lot of potions they could have switched, and it was going to take a while for them to finish the work. And the door was still wide open for anyone to enter the room. Anyone that made their way through the hall would probably see the room and come investigating.
A risk Dante was not willing to take. He was reckless enough to be caught by the two girls, but a third person could be a serious issue. He made his way over to the door and glanced out scanning to make sure no one else was coming. He then shut the door, after making sure they would be able to get out once it was shut. Content he turned around and scanned the room.
