Delilah laughed with Tianne, a small light laugh, they were nearing the Kitchens! Huzzah! The small girl nodded, "If I had a journal that could write down my thoughts... wow, it'd be a huge mess! It's nice to write everything down, then at least it's a little more organized..." She said. Organizatoin... Definetly something Delilah was not into. It simply wasn't her forte. Delilah's room here at Hogwarts was a huge mess, but she still knew exactly where everything was. She supposed in a sense it was organized chaos. But when it came to her mind, she tried to pay special attention to it, and keep it in balance. "You looking forward to Summer?" She asked, not totally sure whether she had asked this question or not... she seemed to be a bit more scatter brained than usual...

Tianne was relieved to be finally near the kitchens; the whole time she was talking to the girl she could feel her stomach rumbling. It was an odd feeling, uncomfortable and at times painful for the girl, but she wasn't going to make a fuss in front of Delilah; Tianne didn't want to seem rude in the least. Deciding that she should invest in a good diary over the holidays, Tianne kind of drifted away from the conversation. She was so... hungry...
"Mm?" Tianne said, kicking herself mentally for tuning out. It's okay, she just had to figure out what had been said and all that, she had caught a few things... If I had a journal... my thoughts... mess!... write everything down... more organized... Filling in the gaps with words that Tianne thought would fit, she let a small laugh escape her lips before pursing them. "Yeah, I wish I could be more organsied too! It gets so messy. And I know what you mean, writing things down gets too hard!" Tianne said, not knowing that she had filled in the wrong words. "And yeah, I'm really looking forward to the summer, but I have a lot of friends graduating from Hogwarts, and I'm sure going to miss them."

Delilah could feel Tianne's pain, literally. Her own stomach was at the point where it felt like it was beginning to eat itself from the inside out. Not the greatest feeling, but it was bound to happen when one forgot about eating. It only just crossed her mind that she hadn't eaten that whole day. Not it like was supposed to be on purpose or anything, just that she had simply forgotten. Things sure were getting hectic around here, and this was just part of the process she presumed. Delilah was thinking - maybe she'd get Tianne a diary for her birthday... Hmm...
Delilah laughed, "It's just never the same when I write it out..." she started, trying not to wince as her stomach let out it's furry once again, "who could ever capture those moments completely anyways?" She was impressed with herself. Maybe the small girl did have a way with words. Just when she wasn't trying though, it seemed. Delilah hadn't noticed that Tianne hadn't replied to the statement she said, but that didn't matter apparently, Delilah's brain didn't mind. Seemed like they could've been intoxicated at this point. With the smell of the food from the kitchens anyways. "I know where everything is in my own room, it's just kinda... you know, messy." She said, with a grin and a shrug, like she had been caught in some way. Delilah nodded, she didn't have any friends that were graduating, so she didn't really know how to respond. She did understand seeing people go though, and that was enough to be able to sympathize with the Ravenclaw girl. "Yeah, I feel ya, I'm gonna miss a whole lot of people this summer..." She said, thinking of all the friends she had just recently made... It seemed too soon to be torn apart from them right away.

With Hogwarts having the luxury of breakfast, lunch and tea, it wasn't often that Tianne experienced this feeling. It was pretty new to her; it had taken a while to register exactly what the pain in her stomach was. Perhaps it had just kicked in as they were nearing the kitchens, maybe Tianne had subconsciously smelt the food, and the stomach was just reminding her that she needed to eat. Pfft. As if Tianne would forget to eat, eating was her life, her passion, her favourite pastime. Okay, she didn't love eating that much, but she couldn't lie and say it wasn't a daily ritual of hers, like it was for everyone else.
Giving a light laugh, Tianne shook her head. "Uh, my mum always yells at me to clean my room, using 'you can't find anything in there' thing, but when i clean it, that's when I can't find anything." She said with a grin. "This year has gone so fast, I'm really gonna miss Hogwarts this summer." Tianne spoke, almost whispering, a worried look now replacing the smile that had once taken up the space on her features.

Delilah caught on to the worry that was written across Tianne's face. "You okay Tianne?" Delilah asked, wondering if it had anything to do with her up and coming summer. Delilah and Tianne were finally at the Kitchens, and as they strolled in together, Delilah continued the conversation, "Yes, I agree that the year has gone fast..." She said, still wondering if Tianne was ok. It was odd for a Slytherin to genuinely care about someone they just met, but Delilah seemed to be one of a kind. "I only just started Hogwarts this year, and it's gone by way too fast...," she said, sighing, "my summer is gonna suck..." She said, letting her mind wander to what lie ahead for her. Just her, sitting in her room, bored to death, no friends because she didn't want a bunch of snobby rich, pureblood kids as friends. She tried once, but they only hurt her, and stabbed her in the back. And the only time she'd leave her house, was if there were family gatherings, which consisted of cousins who had personalties of pureblood, snobby, rich kids. The only person whom she enjoyed spending her time with and trusted, was her father, a sweet and caring man, who used to be in Hufflepuff himself. But he was busy most days with Ministry work... it was going to be a long, and dragging summer.

"Hm? Yeah, I'm fine." She said, with a shrug of her shoulders and a grin. "I guess I'm just hungry." She said, rubbing her stomach with her hand. She was dreading the holidays, yes, but she was hungry as well, and these things had both added up for the expression that was left across her face. It was similar to the one that she got when she was reading, concentrating or studying, it happened basically just when she was thinking. "I was actually thinking that, like, how do I not know this girl, because well, I know most of the people, but yeah. How have you liked your first year at Hogwarts? Did you transfer in?" She said, the looked or worry far gone from her face. Finally at the kitchens, Tianne breathed a sigh of relief, grinning, the girl looked at Delilah. "Let's get some food, hey!"

"Totally understand." Delilah said, not really believing that nothing was wrong with Tianne, but she let it go. She wasn't going to poke and prode until there was no tomorrow. Friends weren't really forced so she wasn't going to force Tianne either. Delilah was smiling when Tianne said, how could she not know her, and that made Delilah think that Tianne was obviously well liked my her peers. Yes, she was a bit more on the quiet side, but Delilah was taking a liking to her, quietness included. "I've loved my first year! I really only started actually trying to be noticed by people in March, so it feels like I'm leaving everyone too quickly..." She said with a sigh and a frown. She was going to miss everyone so much, the friendships were only just blossoming and now Delilah couldn't stay to see them bloom, at least not until she came back next year. But a whole summer without friends (she had none back hpme) seemed like an awful long time to wait. Delilah nodded, "Yup, I transferred in from Batons." She said, using slang, assuming Tianne would know Beau Batons was school for very pretty girls. Mostly blonde... Delilah hated it, and although her mother was sad to here it, Delilah didn't want to waste her life there. She needed male friends, simple as that. It really was too bad that she just wasted the first half of her first year here, just doing nothing and keeping to herself. But she was proud to say she had a few guy friends, like Connor, Dante, and Jason. Delilah nodded in anticipation at the mention of food, "Let's!" She said enthusiastically, opening the door to reveal the food and elves inside.

To tell the truth, Tianne was just upset that the term was coming to an end. She was goign to miss so many people, people that she'd see the next term anyways, but people that were leaving; Drew, Guy and Layla in particular. She knew that Hogwarts and Ravenclaw especially, would be so different wiithout their current Head Boy, he had organized so many thing, befriended so many people, and offered advice so many times. Tianne hoped that she would keep in contact, she just needed a diary to remind her... Nodding as she was told about the transfer that Delilah went through, Tianne gave a laugh. It took a her not much over a second to realise what she was talking about, Beau Batons, of course, and Tianne couldn't help but envy the girl. Her own mother had tried so hard to get her in there, and although Tianne wouldn't have wanted to go there, she thought that it would have been fun to experience more than one magical academy. Almost squealing with happiness as the door was opened, revealing food, elves and basically Tianne's dream, Tianne wandered in, awestruck and well, happy. "Okay, what do we do? Just ask?" She said, leaning over to Delilah.

"Oh come on now, you've never been to the kitchens before?" Delilah asked in half amusement, walking into the hussle and bustle of the Kitchen, where the house elves glanced at her and smiled, remembering her from the beginning of the year when she really didn't have much for friends, and gladly called this place her home, and the elves made her feel more welcome than any human did. She owed them a lot, and planned on bringing gifts for them once the end of the year came.
They greeted her warmly, and she patted some on the head, and hugged others, and some still, just started at her oddly. Ok, well, not all of them liked her. She shrugged at Tianne, and big grin plastered on her face. Delilah whispered something in the closest elves ear and the small creature nodded and ran away. Delilah stood up, and walked over to Tianne, and smiled, "Be prepared for a feast." She said, waiting for the elf next to Tianne.

"Not in a while." She said, in an embarrassed tone, the temperature in her cheeks rising momentarily. Did she look that immature, did she look stupid? Tianne really hoped not, even though she had figured that the girl would mind. Delilah was really nice, she wasn't the type of person that would undermine someone like that. The place was so cool, to be honest, everytime that she had gotten food, she'd just snaked it from the feasts, and the meals that they were served. She really hadn't ever gone to the kitchens much, and when she had, there had always been someone else there that got all the stuff.
Grinning as the elves gathered around her and Delilah, Tianne was so excited. House elves sure were... weird things, but Tianne liked 'em. "Hello!" She said to the elves, holding her hand up for one of them to high five her. It had taken the elf a while to figure out what to do, and with some direction from Tianne, but she finally received the touch of a hand of hers. "Alright!" She said to Delilah, rubbing her hands together hungrily.

Delilah smiled at Tianne, glad she got along with the small creatures aswell, knowing that if she ever decided to bring someone that didn't like the hogwarts house elves... she'd be in big trouble... Suddenly, the elf Delilah had whispered to, was bringing a tray larger than itself out to the two girls. The elf raised it with his... or her... limited magic and placed the tray atop the small wooden table off to the side. Delilah walked over to it, taking in all the different aromas, she sighed, totally ready to dig in. There was hearty sandwiches, plenty of drinks to choose from, some roasted chicken, and any kind of dessert you'd want. Delilah picked up a chicken leg and grinned at Tianne. "Dig in!" She said, hoping the girl wouldn't hesitate. This was going to be awesome. Delilah dug in way to fast, dropping chicken chunks all over her pj bottoms and grinned at Tianne, rolling her eyes at herself. She was hungry it seemed.

Tianne grinned hungrily at the mere mention of food, it excited her to think that soon the horrible feeling that was nagging at the back of her throat and her stomach was going to fade away, and she wouldn't be left hungry any longer. Licking her lips as the tray that was covered in food was brought out. She didn't know whether the girl would expect her to just dig in, eat everything and leave no scraps, but Tianne felt that she was perfectly capable of that. Heck, she was a talented girl, she could do anything. Rocking back on her heels as she watched the girl dig in to the chicken, giving a laugh as Delilah looked her way. Dig in. Of course, Tianne was so foolish sometimes. She had been so absorbed in her own thoughts that she'd forgotten to eat what was in front of her, sometimes she needed to smack her brain. Naughty brain, bad brain. "Haha, duh!" She said, pretending to slap herself over the cheek. Picking up a sandwich, with chicken, lettuce, tomato, cucumber, cheese, carrot and every seasoning that you would want on a salad sandwich, Tianne grinned as she took a bite. Dig in, alright.

After Delilah finished, she looked down at herself and sighed, looking back up at Tianne with a sly grin she said, "I'm gonna have to go up to my room and change jammies now..." She looked back down at the left over food on her pajama bottoms, and chuckled to herself. She was sufficiently full after all the food she'd had. Not much had been said between the two girls it would seem, afterall, they were both famished to the point of passing out. Delilah patted her tummy and looked up at the clock. She let out a small gasp at the time, and decided maybe she'd like to head back and study... Since she hadn't been doing any of that all year. "So, you done?" She asked Tianne, knowing she was done herself. Maybe over-done... Too many pastries.

Tianne couldn't believe her eyes. So much glorious food, so little time to eat it all. Well, so little room in her stomach. She seriously didn't think that she could eat as much as she did, however little that really was. She never had been a big eater, in fact, she was always the last finished at the dinner table, with the most on her plate at the end. It was just the way that she was brought up, they never could afford delicacies, or huge meals. They always had smaller meals than were served at Hogwarts, but that was a given. Eating her way through about a quarter of what had been set before her, Tianne was as full as she could be. She had eaten all sorts of things, from sandwiches, to chicken, from ice cream, to pie. It was like heaven. Smiling over at the girl, Tianne couldn't help but laugh at the state the girl had gotten herself into, she was a mess. Tianne, however, was a lot cleaner, but that surprised the girl. She was usually quite messy.
"Yeah, I don't think I could fit another crumb."

Delilah sighed patted her slightly rounder belly, and grinned, "Awesome then." She said, getting up, and as she did so, the house elves surrounded her and started bouncing and talking and what appeared to be dancing around her. Delilah giggled, kneeling before them, and hugging them each one by one, trying not to crush the frailest ones. They were bidding her farewell 'til next year. Delilah stood up after all her good byes, looked to Tianne, and headed for the door. She turned one more time, "'Til next time." she said to the house elves, offering a small wave, and out the door the girls went. That'd just be another thing D would have to leave behind... for now anyways. Delilah let out a small yawn, "You ready to go to dreamland?" She asked Ti, hoping she was. Delilah didn't want to be rude, but she was exhausted, not to mention full.
