Drew, still working near Braxton and focused on the Littledude, caught the second sponge and dropped it in the bucket. The Slytherin girl was being a brat, but there was no way the Prefect was going to let his firstie get caught up in the misbehaviour.
And later, back in the common room, maybe Drew would tutor the boy on some better ways to get even. Sponge throwing was so amature.

Braxton had been cleaning off the piece of armor when he looked up to see yet another sponge launched in his direction. Only this time it was coming from the direction that Celina was in. Of course he knew Trixi was over there now as well, but when he looked he couldn't see where she had gotten off to. No matter, it wasn't like he was going to chuck the sponge back at her this time around. Maybe some of Drew's words were rubbing off on the littleguy after all.
“You missed me, Pixie,” Braxton said, but did nothing more in return. He figured if she kept it up long enough Drew would probably rat her out to Atwood and then they would be rid of the little pest. That or Braxton would seek revenge at a later time, when Drew wasn’t right there to get upset with him every time he tried to retaliate

Trixi had peeked around from behind the legs of the suit of armour to see the big boy catch the sponge. "Drat.." she murmured under her breathe. However then came the voice of the smart alec Braxton. Trixi scowled as he called her Pixie. "Only because your lover boy was there to save you" Trixi retorted quickly to the boy. "Wonder what Hannah would think if she knew you were sharing your cooties with him as well as her" Trixi smirked. That would get him. Him and Hannah always seemed as though they were in love with each other anyway. Plus the school newspaper had said they were.. "Probably wouldn't like you cheating on her..."
Trixi smirked from behind the suit of armour. She knocked on it again in a different spot to see if the sound was the same. If there was something in there it should probably make a different noise. She had watched her dad doing it with the plaster wall at home while he tried to find the wooden foundations behind it.

"He's not my lover boy!" Braxton said returning Trixi's scowl back at her. "We're just hanging out with the guys because you girls are to unstable to get along with. Nothing more. And Hannah is not my girl friend, were just friends!"
He thought Drew was just hanging out with him because Drew was a guy and the rest of the people there were stupid girls. It was probably best that Braxton didn't know that the real reason for Drew being nice to him was just to keep an eye on him the whole time, that would be a breech of trust in Braxton's opinion, and that wouldn't go over to well. No that wouldn't go over well at all, the little guy would be crushed. He liked Drew.
Getting restless from the sheer aggitation of it all Braxton jumped to his feet and headed over towards the bucket fully intending on taking it and getting new water for both him and Drew. He had to burn some of his irritatedness off somehow.

"Let it go, Brax," Drew told the Littledude as he continued scrubbing on the armour. It was coming along pretty well, but noticibly slower than it should considering one of their group insisted on goofing off a lot. "She's trying to rile you up and you're letting her win."
"Where are you going?" Drew asked, grabbing the boy's arm as he got up. Drew wasn't about to let Brax go anywhere if it meant he and Trixie would go at it.

Catching herself before snickering too loudly at the thought of Drew being the boy's loverboy, considering other things, she quickly wrapped herself up into finishing off her first suit of armour, randomly scratching at her arm now and again. For some reason it just wouldn't stop itching, but she was doing her best to ignore it, engrossing herself in the task at hand to get done and get some sleep.
At least she was until she heard the younger boy's comment about the girl's being unstable. Well, Celina was a bit of a lunatic, even she'd admit, but she didn't think it was right for the boy to be calling her out on it outloud like he had, and on top of that he was calling the Slytherin and herself unstable. All right, so she was over-tired and not in a good mood, maybe she was a little undstable, but she hadn't been that noticably so, had she?
"If he'd stop making those kinds of comments maybe she wouldn't be riled to rile him," she finally spoke up, talking directly to Drew. If he was going to be trying to keep the boy from retaliating, maybe he should also keep him from instigating. "He hasn't exactly been saying very nice things," she continued. "And I'm not saying she is either, but if he would stop, I'm sure she'd get bored of it and give it up too."

Braxton heard what Drew said, but he had just been trying to stick up for both of them. Did Drew not see that? Oh well, whatever, what was done was done.
“Over there,” Braxton said pointing to the tap of water and the drain that was in the room. He was going to swap the water out for new. What was wrong with doing that? And why was Drew trying to stop him from helping out? “I was just trying to help out and empty the water,” Brax added with a shrug, indicating the bucket that had semi-dirty water in it. “It looked like we needed new, that’s all.” Alright so maybe it didn’t need to be swapped out at that point, but he just wanted to get up for a minute and that seemed like a good enough excuse to him.
Braxton's demenor turned to stunned with Felicity's attack on him. What was with that? He hadn't even said one thing to her this entire time. And why the hell was she talking about him like that. He was in the room, didn't she know that?

Drew just looked at Felicity, not really sure why she waas snapping at him. What the heck did she think he was trying to do all this time?
The good news was, Drew's efforts seemed to be paying off. Brax hadn't snapped back at Felicity. Trixie was a little harder to deal with, but still, it was a pretty good step for the Littledude.
"I think we're okay with the water for a little bit more," Drew told Brax, trying to give the kid a smile. "How about you scrub down his back and I'll get the top parts." Drew hated focusing so much time on the firstie when the Gryffidnor was obviously so mad at him, but hopefully she'd let him walk her back to her common room and he could fix it then.

Scowling at Felicity, Braxton had barely heard Drew’s next words about the water. Fine. They could wait. Whatever, it didn’t matter to him. He was just trying to help as it was, but it seemed like he wasn’t doing anything right at the moment so he would just go back to not trying. He wasn’t even in the mood to clean anymore, not that he had ever been, but now he was just in one of those bad moods where he was just indifferent to everything. “I don’t know,” Brax said still scowling. “I guess I could get it's back.”
Yes what little good mood he had had earlier in the detention had all but evaporated with everything that had taken place. Drew was constantly on him about stuff, Felicity was being a royal jerk, and Trixi was well being Trixi.

In a way yes, she was ignoring the younger boy. But he'd just called the girl's unstable and she hadn't liked that when she'd heard it, and Drew was basically babysitting the tyke, she might as well address authority. Really, had she not been quite so tired, she probably wouldn't have said anything, maybe made a joke about her own instability, but as it were, she was and hadn't.
And then, Drew didn't even say anything back, which just angered her more. He hadn't barely said one word to her since arriving at the detention, not that she had said anything to him either before then excapt when he'd asked her about where she was and she had come up with one of the worst answers, but it didn't do anything but set her mood off again. Turning back around, she glared at the stupid suit in front of her. At least she almost done with this particular one, only the helmet left.
But she didn't like the fact that the older Eagle wasn't talking to her. There really wasn't anything she could do about it, except glare and maybe try to provoke him, but that would just weaken her argument about stopping the younger boy from instigating. She'd just have to ignore him and just finish with what she had to and maybe get some sleep.

"Good man," Drew told Brax and the older boy stretched out his back as he stood to work on the higher spots.
He gave a sideways glance at Felicity scrubbing away at her own suit and he wondered again why she was mad at him. He had been trying to do exactly what she had accused him of not doing and now he felt like he couldn't respond, thinking that all he needed now was to send a mixed message to the little guy.
He continued scrubbing and polishing, but kept glancing over, hoping he would at least be able to catch the Gryffindor's eye.

Catching her eye was out of the question, she wasn't even allowing her brown eyes leave the shiny metal she was working on. Not even as she dipped back in for a bit more water, yes, she'd managed to slop a bit of it on her shoes by this point, but she thought if she made herself do something, it'd be easier to ignore the boy that was doing nothing but fueling her anger by doing absolutely nothing.
Finishing off the suit she'd been working on, she shoved the bucket down a bit and began her newest task, at least until she realized she was doing nothing but spread the gunk around. Looking down at the water she had, she realized just how dirty it had gotten from just the one suit, it was time to change it otherwise her task would take three times as long.
Dropping her brush back in the murky pool of water, she lifted the bucket and took it over to the drain, nearly dropping it half way there when she'd reached over to scratch her rather itchy arm. Reaching the drain safely, she tipped the bucket over, letting the water gush out and turned on the faucets to let it run while she waited for warm water and cleaned her brush out.

Trixi smirked, as much as she did mind being called unstable it seemed once again Braxton was getting in trouble. Not to mention Trixi spyed the big boy grabbing Braxton's arm, not allowing him to go where he wanted. At least the girl Trixi was with wasn't keeping her on a leash. She was asking for Trixi's assistance, not restricting her every move. It also seemed as though Braxton had annoyed Felicity whilst making his comment because now she was scolding the big boy. Trixi was quite happy that she wasn't scolding her. Afterall, her comment had been reatliation.. Not to mention her commet seemed to have hit a nerve with Braxton. He was always so tender when Hannah's name was mentioned.
"I don't see anything odd back here" Trixi said nicely to Celina. Trixi saw no advantage in being mean to her. At the moment she was the only ally she had in this battlefield. The boy would always side with Braxton, even when he was the one who started saying mean things first. Not to mention the girl wasn't trying to control her and hadn't done anything to warrant Trixi being mean. Sure Trixi wasn't cleaning but she was doing what the girl had asked her, so if that ugly professor did come back she could say she had been helping and hopefully the girl would back her up. For the moment she wasn't going to retort to brax, she just continued the smirk slightly at the fact that he was being treated like he was 4.

Braxton grabbed the brush and started to get the back of the suit of armor. Had he been in a better mood he would have beamed when Drew said good man, but as it was now he could barely even give the older Raven a smile. Hopefully his mood would improve after a couple of minutes or so. He usually wasn't one to stay mad for too long, but you never really knew. It all just depended on the situation.
Still scrubbing he was making quite a bit of progress on the armor's back. It was looking pretty shiney in his opinion.

One thing right after another, but it seemed as if after Trixie's stab at the younger boy it was the other half of the room's turn to squabble. Fine by Celina, she didn't care much for the talking that was going on just in general. Why couldn't everyone just shut their mouths for two seconds, clean the suits, and be done with it? Annoyed and frustrated, Celina finished the suit of armor and rubbed her hand over her head, which usually would have had her fingers filtering through her hair if she wasn't wearing the bandanna.
"Nothing? hmmm," she said softly so that only Trixie would be able to hear her. No reason getting anyone else involved in their search for the random giggles. Not to mention, the less the ravens heard, the better for her. She couldn't handle anymore people than just one at a time, and hopefully it would just stay that way.
Celina looked behind where Trixie was and furrowed her brows. There was nothing, as the young girl had said. She hadn't doubted Trixie, but then again it was keeping her from cleaning the next suit right away and her hand was tired. This manual labor wasn't something Celina was used to. "We'll look inside then?" Celina whispered to Trixie, making her way around the front. "Would you mind?" Celina asked the suit.
Instantly, as if it knew exactly what she had wanted, it bent over and it's lid flipped up. "Do you see anything?" she asked the blond Slytherin as she looked deep within the dark abyss.
