Detention. One thing that as a professor you generally had to give alot off. Especially if you happened accross stupid doing the wrong thing a bit. Unfortunately of late that had been the issue for Marvin. Not only had he caught two mischievious firsties in the staff lounge but he had also caught 3 students who should have kown better in the forbidden forrest. What it was with kidets and being out of bounds he didn't know. But now he had to give them a detention.
Atwood had spoke with Professor Norbrook and the two had decided cleaning the suits of armour would be the best punishment for their juvenile delinquets. The forrest children would be able to watch over the play writes and make sure they didn't kill each other. Marvin was sure if he left the two of them alone one would probably decapitate the other. Such was the way with younger students though.
Professor Atwood had offered to Professor Norbrook that he would handle the detention of the three forrest children but had owled him the location and time anyway, incase he wanted to drop by. However Marvin didn't plan on staying, he would leave them to their own devices, once they had recieved instuction that is. He had already cast a non magic spell over the armour galery and there were 5 buckets, and a bag of different cleaning things. All the detergents sat close by under, amazingly enough, a tap. Marvin had magicked a tap into the room so that the kids had a non stop supply of water, there was a drain underneath the tap to tip the dirty water into.
Marvin glanced around the room once more to check everything that was needed was there, finding it all present he stood in the middle of the room awaiting his trouble makers.

Braxton had received his owl telling him when the detention would be. He wasn’t all that happy about going, considering he assumed it was going to be with the snake that had gotten him it in the first place, and the fact that detentions were seldom fun. Why did he believe Trixi? Well he would never make that mistake again.
As the time neared he exited the common room and headed for the armor gallery. He wasn’t quite sure why the armor gallery, but what did it matter? He was sure it wasn’t likely to be something he wanted to do anyways, so he might as well get to see the suits of armor as he did it. Dragging his feet a little he slowly descended to the second floor. He wasn’t sure he wanted to be the first one there, or maybe he did. That way Trixi wouldn’t be able to get in any lies about him before the detention even got underway.
Rounding the corner he walked over to where the room was and entered. Well he was the first one there, whether it be a good thing or not, it was the fact of the situation now. Looking around he saw the professor in the middle of the room and said in acknowledgment, “Professor.” Before leaning against one of the walls and waiting for whatever was going to come next.

After having recieved her detention orders, she'd done nothing less but grumble to Sammy. Of course, she doubted the squirrel understood, but he'd given her the look of complete sorrow that she was being thrown into a detention. Her first at Hogwarts, and she doubted they'd be like those at her muggle school back home. Writing lines or being forced to sit in a room for a bit of time was doubtful punishment.
Though, she really had no idea as she hadn't spoken to anyone else about the detentions issued at Hogwarts, and although she'd written to her mum to inform her of the situation, she hadn't exactly written back as of yet, Felicity figured she was quite unhappy with her youngest daughter, but there wasn't much she could do.
The blonde had been caught out of bounds, even if barely, on first pretense of searching for unicorns, but second on searching out what sounded like a hurt creature, which she still hadn't learned the fate of said creature.
At least one thing she had to look forward to was Celina and Drew were both supposed to be in present company as well. All right, so really it wasn't something to look forward to as it meant they'd gotten in trouble as well because of her idea, but at least she wasn't going to be alone on it.
Not taking her time, but rather rushing down to where she'd been instructed to go, she entered the Armour Gallery, expecting to at least see the Ravengirl as she was never late to anything. But rather than she, her brown eyes landed on a little boy and the professor. Was this a joke?
Why was there a child in there? What were they supposed to be doing, babysitting?

The young blonde haired Slytherin was not impressed about being forced to come to a stinking detention. It was all Braxtons fault. Had he not given in and told the truth they wouldn't be in this mess. The man wasn't able to proove anything. They would have lost a few points for being in the wrong place and be done with it. He couldn't proove she had touched the jacket, or that they weren't really rehersing for a play. It wasn't like he could read minds.. Afterall.. that was impossible.
Trixi headed up from the dungeons, entering the armour gallery pretty close after Felicity. However she hadn't seen the girl infront enter or Trixi may not have entered herself. Had she known this woul be with anyone but Braxton it was likely she wouldn't have shown up. However Trixi entered not knowing and it wasn't until she was already in the room that she spotted both Braxton and the girl who wrote the school paper. Trixi's scowl was obvious as she slammed the door shut behind her in a huff. They should have warned her other people were going to be there.
However Trixi's attention was distracted from the blonde haired girl as they fell upon the buckets and cleaning gear on the other side of the room. "NO!" Trixi yelled suddenly, eyes fixed on the cleaning gear. What was it with places like this school and making children clean stuff. They were supposed to be messy, not making everything sparkle as though it had just been through an automatic car wash. "I don't wanna clean!" Trixi said, crossing her little arms and setting herself to the ground. If he said she had to she would run off. The girl's small stature made her would be threatening stance, only really effective to perhaps Braxton, even though he was a bit taller then her. The man and Felicity being much taller then her probably would just think she was chucking a 2 year olds tantrum, then again, that was basically what she was doing.

Braxton barely even acknowledged the older Gryffindor girl. He was to content on brooding in his corner to even care who else entered. That was until Trixi came in screaming. Well she didn't exactly come in screaming but she might as well have. Looking up he noticed the fit she was chucking. Well that certainly was going to be a good first impression for this detention. “Way to throw a hissy,” Brax stated matter a factly. “And we know you don’t like to clean just from looking at you.”
Yes it was mean, and no normally Braxton wouldn’t have said it, but at the moment he really wasn’t thinking to highly of Trixi. Actually despised her would be a more accurate terminology so he said it.

Drew had very little respect for the Professor in charge of the detention, but he didn't show it as he walked into the Armor Gallery, greeting the man with a polite "Good afternoon, Professor Atwood." He was no stranger to detentions and had a good idea what was in store for them. It was fine with him. He had done worse.
He saw Felicity and gave her a crooked grin as he took a seat on the floor nearby. There were a couple of little kids there too, one he knew rather well and one he was aware of solely by reputation. Drew felt he hadn't done a very good job keeping the Littledudes under control, the proof being the presence of Braxton in the room. The little kid looked miserable and Drew called softly over to him.
"Hey, Brax... Wanna come sit over here?" he offered gently, waving the kid over.

If it hadn't been for meeting new people, Celina's streak of never getting herself into trouble would still be clean. Though her existence was a boring one, at least it was respectably invisible. Often times, Celina found herself wishing that she could be invisible again, knowing that by now it'd never happen. When she had recieved her owl, she excused herself from what she had been doing and had gone to the bathroom and just cried. Babyish? Maybe to some, but to a girl who had done nothing in her life but try to live up to forced expectations of greatness, she saw the detention as just another sign that she wasn't cut out.
Walking to the Armory, she tried to wipe the tears from her eyes. Managing to control herself was one thing, but actually looking ok and like nothing was wrong was another. Celina had heard about detentions before and what teachers made some do, so she had quickly changed into her grimiest clothing. It was nothing that anyone had ever seen her in before. A white t-shirt with spots and stains all over it, with a pair of ripped up jean caprice that haid paint blotches all over them. The outfit had seen better days, that was for sure, and put together with a blue bandanna in her hair to hold the black locks back from hanging in her face, her tennis sneakers that had holes in the sides of them, and her red puffy eyes, she was not something that people would want to mess with. No, on the contrary, they'd probably be frightened with the girl's 'new look' being that it was so different from her upscale dress that she usually wore.
Finally, getting to where she needed to be, she wiped her eyes once more drying them and stuck the owl in her pants pocket. Celina entered, only making eye contact with the professor briefly and nodding slightly. At the moment, she had lost all of her vocal abilities and dignity. Yes, it really was that heart breaking for her. She leaned up against the wall, not even looking at the others in the room and continued to examine her surroundings. When she saw the cleaning supplies she was glad at least to have worn clothing suited for the operation. She also notice that she was the last one needed for her group.
Celina let out a shaky sigh, and slunk to the floor.

Braxton was still in his grumpy mood when he looked up to see another older kid come in. He was half surprised when he realized that it was in fact Drew who had just walked through the door. What was he here for? Braxton wondered, but without caring that much. He was just happier, but still not all that happy, that he would know at least one other person in the room other than Trixi. “Hey Drew.” Brax said in return as he walked over to where the other Raven was sitting and took a seat next to him, just as the another girl walked in. Did she look like she had just been trampled on by a thestral or was it just him? “Um….what’s wrong with her?” he asked as quietly as he could, but still not managing to be all that quiet. “Because she looks like she was run over by something.”

When Celina entered, she looked like she was in worse shape than Brax, but also less likely to accept Drew's company at the moment. No one liked getting detentions, but she seemed to be more upset than normal, going so far as to blame Drew and Felicity for the whole thing. Drew shrugged it off. He was pretty used to being blamed for everything that went wrong, but still didn't think Celina would want to talk to him right now.
"So what are you in for?" Drew asked Braxton, thinking the Littledude's assesment of Celina was probably right, but not wanting to encourage it. The older boy was glad the firstie had come over. Maybe Drew could keep an eye on the little guy and make things go easier.

What was Braxton in for? Well that was a good question. There were a ton of reasons actually, all of which the professor had rattled off the last time they had seen him. There was being in the staff lounge, lying, fighting, among other things, and he wasn’t so sure which one he wanted to run with at this point. Maybe he would just run with a vague general answer, that was probably the best thing to do at this point. Well that or go with the most desirable of the list, which was probably accidently ending up in the staffs lounge. “Being in the staff lounge, among other things.” Braxton said with a shrug after a couple of seconds pause.

"Okay, Littledude, first rule is you never admit to anything," Drew told him, lowering his voice in a conspiring tone. "You were framed, or it wasn't really your fault, or you got busted unfairly, got it?"
"That doesn't mean we don't take our punishment like men though," Drew continued, elbowing Brax gently and nodding over to the little Slytherin throwing a hissy fit. Okay, so she wasn't a man, but she could at least show a little class. Only the Gryffindor of all of the girls seemed to be taking the high road.

“Yeah, and in this case it really wasn’t my fault because Trixi lured me in there,” Braxton said with a scowl over in Trixi’s direction but still keeping his voice down, “She told me Ryan was looking for me and we were suppose to meet him there. Of course it was a lie.” Then pausing for a second and looking over in Atwood’s direction he continued. “I tried to tell him that, but he didn’t believe me.” It was true Trixi had lured him there, but that didn’t explain all the other stuff that he was busted for. However, he would be conveniently leaving that little tidbit of information out of his story to Drew. He had also ran with the it wasn’t me story until Atwood started deducting major points. Then he felt bad and had given in and told him what had really happened. Silly him, he should have just stuck with the lie.

Drew didn't say anything outloud about his feelings about the History Professor, but hadn't heard anything that surprised him. Atwood seemed to be on his own planet where reason was totally forgien.
"I need to sit down with you guys and have a getting into trouble talk," Drew said with a long and serious sigh. When he had been a firstie, Max and Hilt had been excellent tutors. Drew had been seriously lacking in the area of bringing up the Littledudes properly.

Trixi was trying hard to restrain herself from beating up Braxton at his comment about her not cleaning. She hadn't said anything to him yet, why couldn't he keep his ugly little mouth shut. However the entrance of two other people and the fact that one of them was favouring Braxton didn't help the small girls temper. She couldn't hear what Braxton and the big boy were saying but she was sure Braxton was blaming her. He was the one who told the truth and got them both in trouble. It was his stinking fault they were there. "Your the one that doesn't clean you smelly pig!" Trixi retorted to Braxton with a scowl "Now keep your ugly mouth shut or I'll shut it for you!" The girl scowled at Braxton. She would love to break his nose.

"Ignore her," Drew told Brax, making a face at the outburst, before the firstie had a chance to respond. Drew figured the kid was impulsive enough to shout back at the Slytherin and knew it would only make the Littledude's situation worse if he did. "Atwood's right there. She's only going to get herself into more trouble acting up and you really don't want any of that, do you?"
"We're men and we're going to get through this like men, right?" he told the Littledude with a confident grin.
