Apparently he had said something wrong because now Drew was mad at him again. He was just trying to get her to see that there were more important things to cry about than receiving a detention. What was the big deal? “Then tell them to leave me alone,” Braxton said a bit more defiantly than he normally would have at such a simple request. It was probably because of the tone in which Drew was saying it. Braxton viewed it as Drew getting pissed with him, just like Trixi and the other girls were. He was trading sides, and it was starting to become obvious to the littleguy.
“What does it matter?” he said heatedly when Drew asked where he was off to. Yeah he was starting to feel like everyone was against him. Apparently Trixi had managed to get the girls on her side, and Drew was on his way there to. Why else would he be getting mad at him, if he wasn’t on the girls side? “Fine,” Braxton finally conceded taking a seat by one of the suits of armor, crossing his arms as he did so. He would leave it be for now, but not because Drew asked him to, well in reality that was the case, but he would never admit it. Especially since Drew was on the girls side.

Drew didn't think he had been heated at all in his comment to Brax, but now the firstie was getting a little pissy too. Well, maybe he could defuse that situation before it got worse. He dropped his sponge in the bucket and went over to Littledude, hunkering down so they were eye to eye.
"I'm not going to tell them to leave you alone. You're the man, so you take charge by doing what you want to be done," Drew told him. "You want them to leave you alone, then you have to leave them alone. You want them to be nice, then you have to be nice. And that means no silly comments, no sponge throwing, and no water fighting."
"And it does matter. It all matters," he continued, looking over his shoulder at the girls quickly before turning back to Brax. "So we're going to take charge and get them to stop being mean to us, okay? What should we do?"

And then her best friend pushed her away. Now she knew the girl was angry with her for the detention, but the poor girl was in major need of being hugged. And she wasn't going to get away that easily. Nope. Felicity's newest mission was to keep an eye on the Ravengirl and make sure she was going to be all right.
The only thing she was able to make sense of out of the girl's words wasn't much. Coming back could mean Atwood. Them knowing, most likely her parents, but the blonde wasn't sure. But before she could ask, the crazy girl was acting crazier than ever, speaking to herself and scrubbing the knight down.
Watching her friend, she caught the movement of the Slytherin out of the corner of her eye and had to hold in a giggle when two of the sponges made contact. To her it was quite hilarious, even if now the girl was retaliating, but it was for a good reason. He'd made Celina sad. Turning back to watch the Ravengirl clean, she decided to ignore what'd happened, is hse said anything, it'd be a praise and that just wouldn't be good. Well, the least Felicity could do was help the cleaning.
"I'll be right back to help," she told Celina before retrieving her bucket and began to scrub down the other side of the knight Celina was working on. Really, she'd preferred to scrub her own rather than help on another, but she didn't want to leave the girl just yet, especially when she was acting a little stranger than normal.
Though she was focused on cleaning the armour, she heard what Drew told the boy about leaving them alone. So maybe he was trying to get him to stop. Well, if he'd listen perhaps the Slytherin would leave him alone too. Whether she'd actually help clean or not she didn't really care, Felicity would do her share if it meant keeping the two quite before she snipped again.
Daring to glance over at Drew, hoping he'd accept an apologetic look for the moment, and a promise that she'd make it up to him later, her eyes narrowed. Hadn't the younger boy been complaining that they weren't doing their share of the work, and now he was just sitting there, not doing anything either? What was the point in that?
And on top of that, it looked like they were conspiring. So much for an apology. Instead, the fifth year turned back to the front of the armour and began scrubbing furiously. She was going to finish and quickly, because she really didn't want to be there much longer with the way her anger was beginning to bubble. Perhaps if she wasn't so tired she wouldn't be so easily irratated, and maybe if her arms would stop itching, it wouldn't be quite so bad either.
"Maybe you shouldn't be doing that anymore," she sighed, looking over at the Slytherin. "I'm not saying you have to help clean, but maybe you should stop throwing sponges. It really isn't nice, and it's making it harder for us to hurry up and get out of here. I know he's being annoying, but maybe we should just ignore him and get on with something else?" she asked the girl quietly. Really, she didn't care if she were throwing sponges, but she just wanted to get out of there and get some sleep.
If the younger blonde didn't take her advice, then that was that, but she surely wasn't telling her what to do. She was much too cute and funny to be told she had to do something. A suggestion, that was all it was. And if she didn't comply, then that was that. Felicity would just have to pick up the pace on her scrubbing.

Braxton wasn’t sure that tactic would work with Trixi. After all he had tried that and she still insisted on throwing the sponge at him. Okay so he wasn’t exactly nice to her, but he had let her comments slide and still ended up in the same place.
“Okay,” Braxton said with a shrug deciding to go along with what Drew had suggested. At least it seemed like Drew was trying to help the situation out now, rather than yelling at him about reacting to them back. Well that’s how Braxton saw it anyways. He saw that Drew was back on his side, and that’s all that mattered. He wanted someone on his side if Trixi had all of the girls on hers. However, he didn’t have a clue of what they should do. “Be nice and leave them alone?” Braxton said, phrasing it more as a question then an actual statement. Isn’t that what Drew had just said they should do?

Trixi looked over to Felicity as she spoke, the girl was being friendly, which was a plus to her side. However her words were for Trixi to not launch any more sponges at Braxton. Although she did say Trixi didn't have to clean. Which made Trixi kind of happy. Both the big girls were letting her not clean. Trixi hated cleaning so this was a very good thing in her mind. However, as much as she liked half the girls statement Trixi hated the other half, and it was that other half that she was going to argue with. "He's not being nice either" she objected with a slight pout. "Its his fault shes crying" Trixi said, amazingly sticking up for Celina instead of just being completely self absorbed like she usually was.
She was likely to launch more sponges, or find something else to do to Braxton, however for the moment she would leave it. Trixi was glad the girl hadn't told her, like the boy was doing to Brax, that she had to do something. She was given the option and was able to choose for herself. But both the girls were cleaning again and Trixi now didn't know what to do now. She didn't want to clean, but she was stuck in this room. An idle 11 year olds mind was never a good thing and usually resulted in alot of trouble, or mess. "I don't want to clean" Trixi said honestly to Felicity. "I don't like it" Perhaps Felicity would have some idea of what Trixi would do. Trixi glanced around the room, she had never been in there before and the suits of armour looked like alot of fun.

Drew could hear Trixie from across the room and ignored her comments, knowing that Brax's behavior stemmed from the Slytherin and confident that Celina would still be in a pissy mood if neither of the firsties had been there.
Instead, he took up his sponge and began working on a new suit of armour. "Okay, the leaving them alone is the easy part," Drew told him, even though he knew it was harder than it sounded. "But what can we do to show them that we're being nice?"

Celina just sat and cleaned. A tear here and there fell to the floor, another mess she'd have to clean up eventually, and as she was so focused she didn't even realize what Felicity had said until she was right next to her; cleaning the other side f the suit. Celina tried to smile, wiped her eyes and continued. It wasn't until a bit later that Felicity was asking Trixie to behave. Celina's mind flashed, almost wondering if that was a good idea. Trixie seemed to be their only line of defense, and with the boys whispering from the other side of the room, Celina almost wondered if they shouldn't keep her just the way she was.
"Felicity..." Celina trailed off, however, as the girl agreed to comply to no throwing of the sponges. Celina looked from Felicity, to the boys, back to Trixie and smiled. Out of the two younger students, Celina liked Trixie a lot more than Braxton. She had only met a few first years, but Trixie was fast turning out to be her favorite. Maybe it was because at the moment they were all on the same brainwave, Celina didn't know. But what she did know, was that if those boys did anything more...Celina wouldn't hesitate to toss her sponge to Trixie to play with.
Still looking about the room a bit, lightly scrubbing the leg of the suit she too looked for something the young girl could do. There really was nothing in the armory other than the suits of armor and some plaques on the wall. All of which needed cleaning, but Trixie had already said she wasn't going to clean. This was a predicament for sure. She almost wished Emerald was here to keep the young girl company, though Celina then thought about if the girl even liked cats.
"I'm not sure what there is much to do other than clean," Celina was able to squeak out softly. "However, if you want to sit here..." she gestured to the side Felicity wasn't on, "...we could just talk." Another suggesting given by an older girl. If it were Celina where Trixie was Celina would have complied, yet again they had already proven how different they are. "Do you like cats?" Celina asked her, trying her best to clean and help keep the young blond occupied.

“It’s not my fault she’s crying,” Braxton mumbled to himself as he got up from where he had been sitting to help Drew with the armor cleaning, “She was crying before I even said anything,” he added, still in a mumble so that the only person who may have been able to hear him would be Drew, as he grabbed a sponge and started cleaning the suit of armor right next to Drew. He wouldn’t be saying it to them, no he was content on mumbling it to himself.
As Drew’s words cut through his thinking, most of which involved calling Trixi a lot of mean names, he looked over in Drew’s direction. So ignoring them was the easy part aye? Well then shouldn’t being nice be easy to, considering it was awfully nice of him not to say anything to them or to chuck anything in their direction? “I thought we were being nice by not telling them what we thought or throwing sponges in their direction. Or do we actually have to do something other than leave them alone?” Braxton asked a bit perplexed.

"No, he isn't being very nice," Felicity agreed. "But it still isn't nice to be sponge launching. And I think Celina will be all right if we ignore him and don't start anything." Really, she was sure the Eagle would be okay even if they did launch a few more sponges in that general direction, but they should try to at least ignore the boy. If it didn't work after a little while, Felicity would be more than glad to help the younger girl with her target practice.
"You don't have to clean," she assured the Slytherin. If she didn't want to and didn't like it, there really wasn't any point in forcing her to. It would just take them that much longer by doing so. Leave the cleaning to the ones who didn't mind so much, at least that way it'd get done without complaints.
Nodding about Celina's suggestion, she didn't know if the girl would agree. Talking was nice, it always was, but if the girl didn't want to, they'd have to have another suggestion. But, her thoughts were interrupted by Celina's first subject topic. Of course, cats. Letting a giggle loose, she hushed it up quickly; just because she didn't like cats didn't mean others didn't. It was a good thing Emerald was so adorable, otherwise there would probably be a problem.
Racking her brain for something else, she doubted the girl would want to sing...and it might cause problems, joke and riddle telling would probably be all right, the girl seemed to like talking and she seemed the type to enjoy thinking about things, though she might not be quite so good if she couldn't figure something out. The blonde could explore, look through the things, but even that would eventually become boring.
Maybe she'd go with talking.

"I know it's not," Drew assured Braxton, wishing he understood girls well enough himself to explain them to the First year. It didn't matter that it wasn't Brax's fault. The girls obviously thought it was and trying to tell them differently would just make them more upset. "If it's any consolation, I'm pretty sure they think it's even more my fault," he continued. It's the way it was with them. He was a boy so obviously he was to blame.
The next part was a bit tricky and Drew suddenly realized that Brax probably wasn't ready for that big of a step. "No, you're right. We'll not talk to them and not throw sponges. I think that's a good start of being nice for now." Maybe by the end of the detention they'd work up to the really being nice part.

Trixi was glad Feliciy said she didn't have to clean. It meant no work for her. At the orphanage there had been no-one to tell her not to clean, she hadn't friends and she hadn't family, nor did she have anyone that was in anyway nice to her. So in truth both the older girls actions confused her alot. But it was good to have tem be nice and be on her side rather then siding with Braxton. She was very amazed that they had though.
"I have a cat" Trixi said simply to Celina. It was true, she did had a cat, If you could call him a cat. He was a weak little ruffeled up little thing that looked kinda like he had been through a blender. He was a stray that had been at the pet store, they had found him and were probably going to put him down. However Trixi had fallen in love with him and chose him, much to her whole family's dismay. The cat only really liked Trixi, but that didn't mean he didn't scratch her too. The thing had sharp little claws and scratched anyone who came near it. But Trixi still liked it.
Trixi didn't like the idea of just sitting there and talking, it seemed rather boring to her. The young girl always had trouble sitting still and doing nothing. Or even talking. Trixi's eyes glanced around the room once more and something caught her eye. "Hey look" Trixi said, taking a few steps away from the girls in the direction of the wall away from the door. "Theres a couple smaller suits of armour over there!" The girl was right. Over towards the corner of the room there were a couple suits of armour that were about half the size of the others. Perhaps originally belonging to goblins. The two older girls were inbetween Trixi and the suits of armour still and a slight sence of excitement could be spotted in the girls eyes. She hadn't ever been in this room, and so the suits of armour were sort of interesting to her.

“And I am pretty sure their nuts,” Braxton said flatly, still in his low mumble so that the girls wouldn’t be able to hear him. He would never get how they could twist and turn a situation to make it out to be his and Drew’s fault when in reality it was just the girls own crappy mood leading to it.
Braxton thought it was more than a good start considering they were now trying to pin everything on him. In his mind they all weren’t being very nice, and seemed to have sunken to Trixi’s level of gitness. “Yeah,” Brax said as he finished off one of the smaller plates of armor on the suit before trying to clean out his sponge in the water. “I think it’s time we got new,” Braxton said pointing to the bucket that was an interesting shade of brown now. He would have just changed the water himself, but the last time he had tried Drew stopped him, maybe their was something to it that he didn’t get. So he decided to point it out to Drew instead of trying to do it again. He would be happy to do it if Drew wanted him to, but didn’t think that was likely after all the last two times he tried to go anywhere he was stopped in his tracks.

Celina nodded glad to hear that Trixi liked cats and actually had one. "My cat's name is Emerald, and she's black with very green eyes. I saved her from being..." at that moment Trixi had spotted some other suits of armor on the other side of the room. They were smaller, almost the size of the two first years. A thought of shoving both Braxton and Trixi into them to have them duel it out flashed acrossed her mind, making Celina chuckle a bit. "So, there are," she said calmly.
Leaning in closer to the younger girl, she whispered, "Why don't you go and check them out. That's probably really interesting! Oh, but could you tell me if they're really dirty or not when you get over there." Celina gestured to her bucket water, which was grimy, brown, and the soap had all but dissolved away in the water. It almost looked acidic. "That way, I'll know if I have to change my water or not." Celina let a little laugh escape her again as she looked at Felicity. She smiled slightly, shrugged and said, "I'm sorry....I'm just....not used to....this stuff...." Celina trailed off, hoping that her friend would get that she meant detentions, not cleaning.

Why was it everyone seemed to have a cat? The pesky little creatures were annoying, why did everyone want one? All right, so not everyone wanted one, nor did everyone have one, after all, Drew had an owl and she had a squirrel, and Drew wanted a dog and she was quite content with Sammy. So not everyone had or wanted a cat.
Looking in the direction of the smaller suite, she surpressed a giggle. She'd had the thought of the young blonde climbing into one and moving about in it. It would just be cute really, if she could even move in them.
They were shinier than the one's they were all cleaning, so maybe they wouldn't need more than a wipedown, maybe they were just dusty. And it would be nice if they didn't have to scrub at them like the larger ones they were working on momentarily.
Glancing down at Celina's bucket, Felicity's light brown eyes widened, glad the murky colour didn't match any colour she knew personally. "Celina, I think your water is going to have to be changed no matter the state of the other armour."
At least she'd already changed her own, so it didn't look too horrible. But it was going to need it's own changing soon.

"Yeah... they are," Drew agreed in a similarly low voice. "But you get to a certain age and realize you don't care so much about the nutsiness." He looked over again at Felicity, wondering if he could at least catch her eye, but it didn't seem likely.
He turned back to the bucket when Brax mentioned the water and Drew had to agree with that too. The older boy's biggest concern about the water changing was that the faucet was over closer to the girls and he wasn't sure if Brax was ready to cross into enemy territory yet.
"You want me to do it, or can you mange without talking or even looking at the girls?" Drew asked the firstie. "Seriously... it's going to be tough. The bg ones will probably only glare at you, but that Trixi is probably going to play rough. Can you do it? Even if she smacks you with every sponge she has, can you just get the water and come back?" Drew had seen the older girls' giggles when Trixie had made contact. He had expected better out of them and didn't think he could count on them to keep the little Slytherin from attacking.
