Jason walked into the muggle studies office so he could talk with Prof. Stern. Apparently, this man knew of his father's death and could tell him more about it. Wanting to make this a private conversation, he didn't tell Tristan that he was coming. He didn't really know who this man was. He knew it was Tristan's uncle but other then that, he didn't know to much about him. Only the information that was in the letter he sent Jason not to long ago.
When he entered, he found that Prof. Stern was not in his office. "Perhapes he had to do something and will be right back." he thought. Going to the chair infront of him, he sat down and began looking around.

"And the other thing of television is broadcasting, got it," he said to himself reminding of his lessons. He then looked around and saw a boy. He seemed fimiliar, so fimiliar that it looked like his best friend. "Alexander?" he said. He then shook his head.
"Sorry, you must be Jason, Alexander's son?" he asked him. He eyes widen at him, truly he must of came here to learn what happen to his father. Trevor really missed Alexander and Ryan badly. He wished the best of them.

Jason was still sitting in the chair when he heard someone walk in and call him Alexander. He looked next to him and saw a man standing there in the door way. A lot of people called him by his father's name when they saw Jason because they said that he looked just like him. But, the fact that this man called him Alexsander kind of surprised him. Jason stood up quickly, "Yes, I'm Jason." he told him. "You must be Trevor Stern right?" he asked. At first he couldn't bring himself to speak, but he soon got over it. "I got your letter and...I was wondering...if you...you knew anything about...my dad." he stuttered.

Trevor looked at him and smiled. But look depressed, and sighed. "Well, yeah I do know alot," he said to Jason. He sighed again and began to think and then talk. "Your father and our friends we're sorted into Gryffindor in the same year. I knew Tristan's father from the Hogwarts Express. But I met your father in Defense Agaisnt the Dark Arts. Around early January '84, we all became best friends. Then on February 5 '84 we called ourselves the 'Trio Brothers'. Then on August 17 '85 we went to the Quidditch World Cup," he said to him.
Trevor still had lots more to tell him, but he was going to tell him the fun facts first then the important facts. "Then September '85, I heard that your father was trying out for the Gryffindor Quidditch team. I didn't believe it but he made it as a seeker. Then January '87 your father was injured in a Quidditch match," he said. He then started to snicker at his other fact," then me and your father got 30 points tooken away from us telling Professor Snape his nose was bigger than the other time we saw him," he said to Jason laughing. He then began to get to the real facts, "Then the battle of the Department of Mysteries came. I, tried to save Alexander but... he was killed before I could reach to him," he said to Jason hoping he understood him.

Jason smiled to himself about all the things his father had done while at school. Maybe that was why his mother seemed sad at times to see him play quidditch when he was younger because it reminded her of his father. Looking back up at Trevor he asked, "How did he die? Who killed him?" those where the two questions he really wanted to be answered. His mother refused to tell him for so many years, maybe now he would find out the truth.

Trevor smiled when Jason smiled. But then Jason asked about who killed his father. Trevor didn't know who it was, but knew about him, "Well, I don't know who. But, he had long black hair. He was sent to Azkaban. He still remains in there, unless he got the Dementor's kiss," he said to him.

Jason stared at him for a little while thinking to himself. Why had he been kept in the dark so long about his father? was one of the many questions that popped into his head. At that moment his mind went back to when he was still little and his father was still alive. He hadn't though about that since he died but it was still painful to see it.
"Alright Jason, all you have to to is put one leg over your broom, sit and kick off. It's simple" his father smiled. "But dad, what if I fall off?" Jason said to him. "Don't worry, you won't" his father replied. "Just remember to keep a firm grip and..." No, the thought was just to painful. He tried to shake it out of his mind but it was still there. The fun, the laughter, everything that he would do with his dad."
Looking back at Trevor he said, "How was he killed? By a curse or what?" he asked. He knew that he had already asked this question but it still wasn't answered. At least he would know how his father went down in the battle. He wanted to know what his father did there.

Trevor saw Jason stare at him for awhile. He gave a little smile. But when Jason was out of his tran of thought he asked how was his father killed. "What you think? He was killed by the Killing Curse," he said to him. He knew Jason would probably ask him what to do if a wizard murderer try to get him, but otherwise he knew what to do.

"Oh, ok." Jason started. "I was just wondering since you said long black haired fellow I thought you might have been talking about some bloke I heard called Fenrir Greyback or something." He wasn't scared, just curious. He knew that maybe he was annoying Trevor with questions by now but he wanted to know one more thing. "Umm...Did my father say anything about...me or mum or anything?" he asked.

He looked at him and thought for a moment. My god, I't could of been Greyback he thought. Truly it was difficult to even think if it were true. He knew something could happen again. He then looked at Jason and heard his question.
"Yeah, he did. All he said was 'If I die, Trevor I just want you to know that I really did love my family' and that was it. Then twenty minutes later he is dead," he said to Jason. He then thought of helping him out.
"You know, I suppose I could teach you a few dueling spells. I'm sure Professor Raynor would teach you this in some such time. But, since you become an interest in this conversation, I'll teach you. But not right now. I'll teach you at your house, and do not invite Tristan. He doesn't need to know about this," he explained to Jason.

Jason looked at him for a second. "You would teach me dueling spells?" he asked in disbelief. Jason like doing spell work, he was much better at it then reading boring lessons in books like in history of magic. Of course he would like to learn, but what would his mother say if an old friend of his father's came to teach him dueling? Another thing was that he already invited Tristan to his house for the summer so what was he going to tell him? Thinking this through for a while, he finally said, "Sure, alright but what am I going to tell my mum?"

Jason asked of what he would tell his mother. Trevor thought for a minute. "Aye, that is a great question. But, you see Alexander could figure out anything for himself, now eh? You inherit his traits, you'll figure something out, right mate?" he asked him in Pirate lanaguage. Truly Trevor can't control his pirate talk, but good think he didn't curse like a pirate.
