She had been feeling miserable, and knew something had been going around the school for so many were now confined to the wing. It felt like a normal cold, acted like a normal cold too, and sot hats all she thought it was.
One would have found the first year in the Armour gallery, once again admiring the suits of the past. There was just something about them, the antiquity, the vibe, all of it that she just found captivating. But she didn't like the dust and it wasn't helping her 'cold' any.
Two sneezes, both normal, the third seemed to be one of those stubborn ones. You know, the ones that built up and just wouldn't come out? Those. Her eyes were slightly watered, and she gasped as the sneeze let itself loose, the only difference was her nose felt, singed. That didn't come with a regular cold.
Blinking twice she pondered what had happened, all the while sliding down the blank portion of the wall to a sitting position as footsteps echoed up the corridor and paused at the doorway.
(Open o'course.)

Dezi pushed open the gallary door, hoping desperately that she had found the right coridor. It took her a few steps into the room to realize that she wasn't in a coridor at all. She gaped at all of the shiney black and silver suits. As she turned to leave and keep searching for her corect destination, her eyes fell on a little girl sitting on the floor looking misrable." You all right?" She asked her. "What you do'n down there?" she inquired before the girl could answer, gesturing twards the floor. "You don't look too well. You all right?" She added again. This time giving the girl time to reply.

Her eyes glanced toward the feet of the newly arrived girl, she had expected to find whomever it was, at her level. Her eyes then inclined upward to meet the face of the other girl. Older, no surprise, but, she was concerned about her, yet the two had never met prior. That was a good vibe to get.
"I-I'm not sure..." Lianna claimed softly as she looked herself over. She felt alright, well,a s alright as one could be with a head cold, or the flu, or whatever this was. still, that one sneeze had been, irregular. Different, and painful.
"I think so..." She deduced finally, after a moments thought. Yes, she was fine, nothing wrong, it was just a cold. But, then again, were wizarding colds different from the muggle counterpart? At all?

"I don't think so," Dezi said to her. "See all this smoke?" She pointed at the smogy air between them. "S'it from you?" She questioned. "Just before I left Beuxbattons there was an outbreak of this. It was bad, I never got it though. You really should see the nurse." She told the girl caringly. "What's your name?" She asked after a bit of a pause, then adding as an afterthought, "And what's your year? Mine's Dezi and fifth."

Smoke? There was smoke? Blinking twice Lianna now noticed a thing ray film, that was far from the severity the girl had brought it to be. They had, had an outbreak of this, she hadn't caught it, what were this and it? What in Merlin's name did she have?
"I-I dunno...I guess it might be?" She questioned, now worried. A human being was not meant to produce smoke naturally. And if ti had come from her, why did it and what was causing it, and was it curable? There were too many questions, and a sever lack of answers.
"My names Lianna, Lianna Maylorn, I'm a first year." She answered politely, though the edginess form whatever this was, was certainly evident.

"Nice to meet you Lianna," Dezi paused for a moment to look at the much younger girl. "You have it, there's no mistaking it." Dezi said to her. "Look at your arms," She told Lianna, pointing at the small dark crimson spots. "That's dragon pox, that is. You're lucky we're catching it early. I've seen people die from misdiagnosing at as regular chicken pox." She explained caringly. "You really should see the nurse sometime soon." Also quickly adding at the scared look on her face, "You'll be alright, the nurse here's good. She take good care of you."

Lianna could only blink at this point. Dragon Pox...what in the name of Merlin's Realm was Dragon Pox?! A name didn't help her, as there was no way she'd be able to go to the library now and look it up. If it was so obvious as to what it was. Life was bitter irony, very bitter.
She wasn't scared, nor did she doubt the nurse's ability. Merely, she disliked hospitals, and this 'Wing' had the word Hospital before it, which only made it all the more less comforting.
"Erm..." She murmured finally, trying to find something to respond to the girl with that wouldn't sound, well, stupid. Psh. Some luck there.

Dezi waited a moment before she spoke, for she didn't really know what to say. "You'll be alright." She decided to tell her, at loss for anything else. She merely stood there, waiting for the girl on the floor to speek, or get up off the floor, or something.

"Still dunno what it is though..." Lianna mumured as she wearily stood. The sickness, infection, whatever it was classified as, took its toll on her energy level slowly but surely. Perhaps that, Hospital Wing, wouldn't be too bad, it hadn't when she went there for something to cure a lack of sleep. Which, worked, actually.
Never the less, she was tired, sick, and felt miserable, regardless of the information she received of this...icky thing, that wouldn't change. Nope, not at all.

"It's really just like a mix of the chicken pox, a regular feaver, and a normal head cold. Just a little bit worse." She explained to her. "Chicken pox because of the spots, feaver becasue, well, dragons, fire, it's hot, you get it the idea. And it's like a head cold because you sneeze. But, they're not regular sneezes, as you might have noticed, you sneeze fire and smoke." She continued, "And if left alone, can be fatal. But if taked care of in a timely manor, it's nothing."

Fatal, there was a word that clicked nicely and made the mood a whole lot better. Not that one could be much blunter. It could be fatal. Marvelous, she could die from something that she had a vague description about, and didn't want to go to a doctor to have fixed. Yet, if she wanted to live would have to do so. Irony, is the one thing where cruel and unusual punnishment needs to reapplication.
"F-fatal?" She stammered in repetition, giving the girl, dezi, a sideways glance. Death was not on her things to do list for the year. Nope, definitely not.

"Not usually," Dezi told her, realizing that she may have made it sound worse than it really was. "You'll be fine, don't worry. That's only when it gets really bad."

Now why didn't Lianna believe that? Maybe because by now she was more concerned and scared for her life than about the little itchy blue spots on her arms and cheeks? Yea, that was it, this, disease, had her scared half tot he death she was heading toward anyways. So how, in Merlin's name could she be fine?
"A-Are you s-su-sure?" She questioned, her eyes watering slightly from nervousness. She, like any other human being didn't want to die, and like any child, was scared greatly of even the prospect.

"Yes, I'm sure. Sorry, I guess that I made it seem alittle worse than it is." which was true. "Sorry, the only way that it could possibly lead to death is just like any other small illness," she told her, continuing, "if you don't do anything about it, it'll get bad, if you treat it right a way, it'll be nothing."

"But...I don't like doctors...." She murmured shakily. Why did everything have to deal with something she didn't like, or near everything? Though, her last trip to the wing wasn't that bad...this couldn't be much worse, right?
