A wounded, but a bit happy Xander walked into the classroom. He was surprised that there were already some students in his room before him, that was a first. But he continued limping in, levitating three crates behind him. "We're now gonna tackle new things, no more Egyptians. We're done with those, now we'll be going to Romans and some other important facts around the world. No need to get your quills and parchment, I'll be giving you projection journals. If you find my explanation difficult to catch up to, ask the first and second years in your hosue for help." he said, setting the crates down and sitting down behind his desk. He opened one of the crates magically, since he was useless with all the wounds. He then levitated a tome over to him and set it down beside him.
"We'll just wait for your other classmates before we start the lesson or do you wnt us to start the lesson now?" he said, looking at the students there and waiting for an answer. He needed then to say something before he started really. He wanted their opinion right now, not that he didn't mind just starting off, but he felt like doing it.

Emeric had surprised himself by being early to his History of Magic lesson. So early, in fact, that even the Professor hadn't shown up yet. He was worried by this, had he perhaps come too early for the lesson? He checked his watch and saw that he wasn't too much ahead of schedule, only by about five minutes or so. So what was keeping everyone? He slumped down slightly in his chair as he waited.
Upon hearing footsteps approaching the room Emeric immediately straightened and sat up in his chair, leaning forward slightly as he reached for supplies that he had pushed towards the edge of the desk. The fourth year was rather happy to not study the Egyptians anymore. He certainly had nothing against them but after a while the subject had begun to bore him. Moving onto the Romans, though, that sounded interesting to Emeric. He wondered if they would be touching on the Roman Empire itself or just the brief history. He nodded his head slightly and once again set his supplies up as he had, in a neat stack pushed towards the front of his desk. He wouldn't need them apparently.
As a question was directed to the class, which at that moment just consisted of Em as far as he could see he shrugged his shoulders than said, " We should probably wait, Professor. The bell's hardly rung yet. " It was true, there was still a couple of moments left for those who planned on being on time to the class.

Finally it was time for Tianne's favourite lesson. She loved History of Magic, and at the risk of sounding like a nerd, she looked forward to her lessons. It wasn't that she liked the teacher, nor was it that she liked the people in the class itself, it was just for her love of Histoy and the Past, and Tianne always wanted to know more about those subjects. When at muggle school, Tianne excelled at normal history, and found that interesting, so when magic was added to the mix, she became more and more excited. She was passionate about magic, as many of the students at the school were.
Getting ready extra early for her lesson, Tianne wore exactly what she wore every day. A pair of navy stockings, a skirt, and a cardigan, over her blouse and tie. She wasn't sure whether that was complete school uniform, but it was comfortable and it kept her warm. Pinned to her chest was a prefect bagde, polished as usual. In fact, Tianne looked like she did all the time, but inside she felt totally different. Tianne was incredibly happy, and in a just a nice, giving mood. She wasn't in the mood for not liking someone, she was in the mood for making friends, and talking.
Entering the room, a smile across her youthful face, the girl stopped. The professor must have just entered, and she could see Emeric sitting in a chair. It wasn't that the girl didn't like the boy, it was just that she hadn't gotten to know him, and really, they didn't start off on the right foot. She didn't mean to make the boy not like her, and that saddened her, but really it was just something that happened and was out of her control. Offering the boy a warm, friendly smile, Tianne took a seat, in the front row, trying to avoid looking at the boy. It was just so... so awkward.

Most of Matty's classes had been going well today. Her uniform was still clean, her hair nice, and her stocking's un-ripped. Didn't smell of some awful potions, and she hadn't stepped in some sort of muck in Care of Magical Creatures. The girl hadn't been hurt or harmed in Charms, and so she had been feeling rather dandy before this class. She was on her way to recovering from the Pox, but there were still some parts of the virus she hadn't gotten over yet. Matty still had an irritating red rash across her stomach, which fortunately enough, wasn't seen. She did have coughing spells from time to time, though her main concern was the dizzy motions and headaches she was constantly getting. Whether this was because she was working too hard, or because of the Pox, the teenager wasn't too sure on.
Ten minutes before her last class had finished, one of those throbbing intense headaches had decided to settle in the Hufflepuff's head, right before one of her favored classes. She wasn't too hot on History itself, but Professor Griffiths was a cool Professor, and so she didn't mind his lessons compared to others. But as the girl dragged herself along the corridor, her messenger bag swinging at her side, the girl's head down, Matty wasn't really looking forward to the next hour. As the teen walked through the door, she swayed slightly, and stopped to a put a hand to her head. She sighed absently, before waving shortly to her Professor.
Matty turned and saw Em and Tee both seated. She wanted to sit with the boy, but she also wanted to sit with her best friend, and didn't want to blow off her. Then again, the teen didn't want the Slytherin sitting on his own, and he was her friend too. It wasn't in her nature, and neither she have the energy to argue with herself, and the girl chose the closest seat. Matty's drained face mustered a smile for Emeric, nothing suspicious, before taking a seat next to her Raven mate. " 'Allo." she said with a small smile to her friend, before dumping her gear on her desk, then massaging her temples with her fingers. Hopefully this lesson wouldn't be to hard.

Xander looked at Emeric as he answered his question and the professor nodded, he agreed thatthey should probably wait for the others. So he sat back and looked at his injured arm, it still wasn't getting any better and it pissed him off sometimes. But Xander kept himself cool and waited for other students to arrive. It wasn't that long, for a few minutes later a happy looking Tianne walked in his classroom. He gave her a smile and then he opened the tome, one more student and he might start the class now. All Xander had to do now was wait for someone to come and while he was waiting, he was gonna read on what he was gonna tell them or he might just start with his family or something.
A few more minutes of deafening silence and reading, Xander finally looked up as he heard someone come in. It was Matty, and she didn't look so good. Xander frowned a bit at this, but he kept quiet. He watched her movement, his wand was already in his hands. He was only waiting for Matty to fall down or something, but thankfully she made it to a seat beside Tianne. Placing down his wand, the professor stood up. "Good morning, you three. Since, I see that you three are early we'll start the lesson with the three of your first. Now, we are gonna go for Roman history. Main empires, druids, abilities, family histories and lots more." he said, then he looked at Matty. "Though I think one of you three needs a rest or maybe an ice pack" he added, he then waved his wand and an ice pack appeared infront of Matty. "Put that on your head, Matty. It'll soothe the obvious pain your having." he said kindly to the girl.
Xander then moved over to a crate and levivated a sword from it, then he placed it on his desk and looked at the class. "Now that sword is actually a roman wand. Yes, it works like a wand, but looks like a sword. Now there is a difference here though." he explained, picking up the sword. He then released it and levitated it before it hit the stone floor, he showed the feature to the students and said "There is a very distinct detail that makes it a wand. Look at the blade itself closely and you will see something in the middle, but not only that. Look at the hilt and look at it's weird detail, yes that vine like thing wrapped around it is actually unicorn hair, combined to make this becautiful design and a powerful wand."

Matty's green eyes seemed kind of dull due to her headache. It was it all of a sudden the girl felt drained, her head light, though everything throbbed. Curse whatever animals or person every brought Dragon Pox into the U.K. This headache was beginning to float among one of her worst, but not yet the worst. About a month ago Matty had needed to seek help from the school nurse due to the intensity of the migraine, so compared to that, this one was manageable. The Hufflepuff girl continued to massage her head slightly, hoping to relieve the pain. It was working, but only slightly.
The teenager looked up as Professor G. stood up, and began to explain what they were doing today. Even through her haze of a headache, Matty could mentally acknowledged the fact that she was going to be interested in this subject. Rome intrigued her more so than Egypt did, also kind of because the teenager could recall her Professor from being there. This was because of their early-morning conversation one weekend, though the girl wouldn't have bet anything on her fact at the moment. However even as she was trying to listen, the teen's eyes were aimed down at the ground now. "Though I think one of you three needs a rest or maybe an ice pack." This drew her attention though, as the girl looked up at her Professor, an ice pack appearing before her. Put that on your head, Matty. It'll soothe the obvious pain your having."
The girl was able to smile at him, and mumbled a soft "Thank you sir." before seizing the pack and holding it to the right side of her head. She didn't know which side was 'worse', for the headache seemed to cover her whole head. But, Matt had faith in the man, and so she did as he suggested, hoping to to disturb the lesson more than she already had. The pain didn't go away, not yet anyway, but it soothed the heat of the ache a little. The girl forced her eyes up as she silently watched her Griffiths showing them a sword that was in fact a wand, which had unicorn hair as it what they would refer to as it 'core' Interesting, but right now Matty wasn't too fussed but anything more than trying to lose this headache.

Despite the fact that Em had just reached for his supplies, and then pushed them back away once again upon hearing they wouldn't be needed for the lesson, he reached for them once again, figuring he might as well do something to occupy his time. He reached for a book he had picked out from the library the day before on the history of the Hogwarts Houses. He didn't exactly know why he had picked the book out, the history of Hogwarts was only mildly entertaining for the fourth year, but so far the book was alright. Just as he picked it up and opened it to his previous page, Em saw another figure walking into the room. Tianne, one of Matty's friends. He gave a light nod in form of greeting and returned his attention back to the book until Matty walked into the room. He smiled as she turned and took the seat next to her friend. Em wasn't offended or anything, he would just have to wait for Tal or Jax to show up. He did notice that the fifth year Hufflepuff was looking a bit tired and sick.
He flipped his book closed, remembering the page he was on, and turned his attention back to Professor Griffiths. Em decided he would just have to owl Matty later and ask if she was alright. ' Main empires, druids, abilities, family histories and lots more. ' That did sound a little bit more compelling to him. He cast a brief glance up to the two fifth years as Griffiths gave Matty an ice pack, a small look of worry crossing the Slytherins face, but the girl didn't seem to be in any immediate danger of her health.
He forced himself to look back to the front of the room, to the sword Griffths was now levitating towards himself and picking up. It was a wonder the man could pick it up in his condition. It was strange to be told that the sword was actually used as a wand. Em thought that it would probably be heavy and tedious to carry around.

" Ellie, come on! " Beau groaned to his sister, wondering what on earth was taking her so long. They had stopped at the library on the way to history of magic class, something the boy had been against because he knew something like this would happen. He knew that if Ell stopped to talk to someone or if she stopped to look at one more book than was absolutely necessary that they would be late. He tapped his foot impatiently as his twin wandered around the library, looking for a specific book. He had no idea why she couldn't have waited an hour or so to go to the library, but she had insisted.
Finally she joined him and they walked quickly down one flight of stairs, Beau still grumbling all the way. " I told you, Ellie. Is it so hard to just pick one book? We're going to be late for Griffiths class! " He badgered her with an annoyed look. They walked into the classroom just as he heard Professor Griffiths saying, ' Look at the hilt and look at it's weird detail, yes that vine like thing wrapped around it is actually unicorn hair, combined to make this becautiful design and a powerful wand. ' Sword that was a roman wand. He understood that much as he slid into his seat, throwing glares Ellie's way every so often.

Ellie was floating, really she was. She had passed a quiz in Transfiguration the day before with flying colors, not receiving a single bad mark. She was pleased with herself as much as she could be, and she was sure that Beau was in a foul mood because he hadn't done so well. ' If you would only study, ' she nagged him with a small knowing smile which of course was responded to by glares on his part. He was a finicky boy sometimes, and as they stopped at the library on their way down to history of magic class, Ellie knew she should hurry up lest she keep her brother waiting. He was impatient in the worst way, because he grew ill mannered and slightly rude when he was waiting for something.
" I just need this one book, " She pleaded with him as he stared at her from the entrance of the library. Ellie ended up getting two or three books instead of just one, causing them to be a bit behind schedule. " We're not going to be late. Everyone else is just early. " She said in a joking way just to irritate him. She was just as worried as him about being late to class, but she knew if she played it off Beau would find it incredibly annoying. He had been in a foul mood all morning and Ellie was getting a bit of revenge by poking fun at him when he was mad. Probably not the smartest thing to do, but it didn't stop her anyway. As they walked into the classroom, Ellie threw an apologetic smile at Professor Griffiths, not knowing if the bell had rung yet or he had started the lesson a little early. She just hoped it was the latter of the two. She slid into her seat, listening carefully to what the man was saying and jotting down a couple notes her and there.

Xander's arm was getting tired with the weight of the sword so he levitated it back to the crate, then he took out two journals, then walked over to Matty and Tianne. He placed the books infront of the two and smiled at them, then he summoned a Green and Silver journal and walked over to Emeric and put it on his desk. He then stayed near the Slytherin boy and looked at his three students, "Now, these..." he started. But then he was cut off by two students rushing into class. He watched them as they walked over to a table and he summoned two more journals before levitating it infront of the two students, "No need to take down notes, that journal will be enough for the whole school year." he said to them.
After that, Xander limped back to the front of the room. "Ok, to explain those journals I'm giving you... Those are no ordinary journals, they are projection journals. They can contain a lot of information and never mix it all. You can write anything in it, just not about history. Everything you need is just a voice away, just like this." he said, then he took out a black journal from the crate and opened it at random. "The Roman Sword" he said clearly and loud enough for everyone to hear, then a projection of a sword came to it and writings started showing on the blank pages. "This is how you use them, but when on events you can just watch the event, on artifacts you see a description on the bottom." he said, as a small scroll like projection appeared beside the sword. "Just like this. Now, I want you all to experiment on it. Try things out and see what you can find out. I have put certain secrets there that you might find interesting." he said, smiling at the class. Surely they would know how to use it by now, they would have seen the young one's use them.
((The secret is a projection of the happenings at Hogwarts on the years of Xander and a few memories of him and his friends, but surely no student knows that much about Xander or can read his mind. This is just so there are no confusions.))

Autumn sat in the middle of the classroom. She hadn't had enough sleep and felt like she was about to nod off. She had felt this way in many of her other classes. She arrived right after Matty and Tianne sat down in their seats. Today was not going to be a fun day at all. Autumn lay her head down on the desk, trying not to fall asleep right now. Groaning quietly she lifted her head from the desk and rubbed her eyes. What a day it had already been.
The class was just about to start when she heard two people crash into the room. The voices sounded very familiar. Turning her head slightly she looked back and saw the Hopkins twins. A small smile appeared on her lips. This would surely wake the Ravenclaw up. She motioned for Beau and Ellie to sit near her. As they walked over she listened to what the teacher was telling them about their lesson. She had to admit, the lesson sounded pretty cool. Books that could call information? Now that is something Autumn could use! Never having to carry around another notebook? That was paradise! She let her fingers touch the cover, feeling the leather below them. This was serious magic they were about the play with.
Ideas, words, events, raced through Autumn's mind as she thought about what she should try on this book. Maybe something about the witch hunts in Salem? Or something about Centaurs? The list was endless and Autumn's mind was trying to finish that race.

The small boy had been sitting in the darkest corner of the back of the room, leaning forward on his desk as if the tip of his nose was being sucked towards the blackboard and the desk was all that was holding him back from flying into it face first. It had been years since his last proper discussion of history. He recalled the Durmstrang curriculum with its heavy emphasis on magical battles well enough, but it simply didn't cover anything regarding culture, mageo-technological innovation, or anything that fascinated Dariusz by summoning pleasant thoughts rather than ones of people screaming from their homes in terror.
As his book was passed to him, he flipped through its pages with wonder, imagining what could be inside; pictures of famous wizard art, music, games and inventions flashed through his head. The fact that he couldn't see it made it seem all the more tempting. This was a book that you couldn't know what was thinking, not until you asked. Dariusz ran his thumb over the spine of the journal as if stroking a rare and magnificent animal, spellbound. Why, it was almost like a person...
Dariusz looked up at the Professor and back down at the book. He had been doing the coursework which was sent to his home while he was away, but it was different from being in the room with the person who was teaching you; already, Dariusz was impressed with this Professor Griffiths. He had shown kindness to the ill girl who was sitting near the front, he asked the opinions of his students, and now he was lending out these books - treasures, in Dariusz's opinion. Not only that, but he was asking them to experiment with them.
Looking up at Professor Griffiths, Dariusz's eyes flashed from the Professor's eyes to the box where the sword was. He had the sensation that the Professor was testing his students with this opportunity, trying them out to see how they would react. Dariusz respected this, and was eager to rise to the challenge.
A thought occured to him: it would be very difficult to do delicate work with a wand that was so heavy. That wand must specifically have been made for dueling; otherwise, the craftsmen would be cutting their work in two every time they tried to cast a simple reparo. Opening his book, Dariusz tested aloud: "Roman artisan's wand."
