A movement caught Jynx’s eye as he was in conversation with Matty. He looked up in time to see Jack coming to a halt. A grin spread across his face when he saw the Ravenclaw making his way to over to one of the corridors that led to the floors above. It was obvious by the look on Jack’s face that he was running late to his next class and didn’t want to be seen, so Jynx just being Jynx had to say something about that. “Hey Jack,” Jynx yelled, a hint of laughter in his voice, “Running a little late, are we?”

‘Hey Jack, running a little late’ rang throughout his ears. He couldn’t believe the nerve of Jynx, hadn’t Jack always been nice to him? Yes. Then why in the world would Jynx insist on drawing attention his way. Swearing to himself and making a mental note of Jynx’s betrayal he didn’t even bother looking up at him. It was just lucking that he was so close to rounding the corner that his little comment wouldn’t really matter. Sending Jynx a nice hand gesture he rounded the corner a couple of seconds later.

Abigail arrived just after Elizabeth. She had read the note minutes before and made her way down to the first floor back corridor where her classmates, professor, and yet another nasty swamp awaited. Abby shuffled towards Lianna and Ty and picked her stance in between them. "Hey guys," she smiled with a wary glance at both of them. She wasn't sure if they had mended their friendship or not, but they were both her friends. "Another bog lesson?" The Huffle's face revealed her disgust at the nasty swamp as she stared at the muddy roped-off area.

Ty looked up and smiled as Abby came and stood in between himself and Lianna. He had caught the wary glance that she had sent both of them and could tell that she was wondering what would happen between Lianna and himself. “Hello Abby,” Ty said in a rather happy mood considering that it was Raynor’s class. He had been quite hyper all day and it hadn’t worn off yet, he just hoped that he kept his wise cracks to himself because past experiences told him that the Deputy didn’t have that good of a sense of humor about them. “Looks like it,” he continued looking over towards the bag again.

Misaki had gone into the Defence against the dark arts classroom just to find a note saying they would have class here today. Wonder why that was so. Going down one flight of stairs, Misaki found the rest of her fellow third years and second years at the end of the corridor. "Looks like another bog lesson. Hope we don't have to swim in it." she muttered. Looking around, Misaki saw Kylie standing a little way off from herself. "Hey Kylie!" she greeted going toward her.

“Hey Misaki!,” Kylie said waving at her as she approached. She wondered briefly whether Misaki and Liz had meet before, but thought if they hadn’t that they would just introduce their selves to each other anyways so she didn’t bother to.
“How’s it going?” she continued with a smile once Misaki was next to her and Liz. “We were just discussing how our winter breaks went."

Wouldn't be that bad? Wouldn't have to get any of it on them? Psh. She'd had that kind of thinking the last time and look at what had happened then. Oh no, she was playing it safe this time and staying a bit back from the edge. Who knew if this thing was magically tidal or...something? Yes, something fit nicely.
"I don't know..." Lianna replied cautiously a moment before Abi joined them A small wave and a smile being thrown in her general proximity before turning her eyes to the Professor whom was bound to start the lesson soon.

Jack was very silly. Walking straight through another class to get to his own, now that was risky for Ravenclaw. But no matter, as Matty turned to Jynx and sniggered. "Jack's feeling gaim today isn't he?" she said in a sarcastic tone. Then glancing to the bog she actually wondered what they would be learning about today. It was smelly, bubbly, murky and freaky, this talking about the swamp, not Matty of course. Then looking to the Professor, she smiled a bit, before taking her attention back to Jynx and what he would say next.

Jynx just laughed as Jack rounded the corner he still thought it was a laugh to see Jack running late to any class.
Turning his attention back to Matty he said, "I guess so, or he just chose the wrong way to get to his class." he said with a laugh. "Because knowing him the last person he would want to run into would be Raynor when he was running late. So he probably didn't know there was going to be a class held here or I bet he would have chose a different route."

"Winter break? Mine was alright." Misaki answered to Kyile. "I went to my um...house in Scotland and we had a Christmas party with my family, which was pretty fun." Of course, she didn't say that she was mainly stuck with her parents for the holidays and wasn't allowed to leave their sight to much. "What about yours?"

“Mine was good,” Kylie said with a smile, “Just ran around with my mom mostly, well this is when she didn’t have to run into the office. Then we just had a nice Christmas at out house, just like we normally do.” Kylie liked spending time with her mom, only she wished that she could have spent a little more time together before she had to come back to Hogwarts. “Ran into Abigail and Liz in Hogsmeade on one of our days out and about.” Kylie added with another small smile.

Giggling slightly, Matty looked from where Jack had vanished from. "Yeah, probably. Though knowing Jack, he probably wanted to drop in on us to say hello or push you into the bog and have a punch up." she looked and Jynx and tilted her head to one side. "If i recall, you two once had a rather violent fight in a puddle of tar and oil, am i correct?" she added. It was quite entertaining teasing Jynx, and Matty knew he would also know. Leaning back on the wall a bit more, she then took a quick glance around at the class.

Jynx just laughed at Matty’s recalling that whole tar incident. “Funny I have no idea what you are talking about,” Jynx said smiling and laughing. He recalled that fight perfectly but was just playing dumb at the moment. The whole thing was quite amusing in his book and he wasn’t about to admit to anything, unless pressed further.
“Plus I don’t think Jack would push me into a bog with so many witnesses around. He is more of a rule hugger when there are others around. He mustn’t lose any points you know.” Jynx continued still laughing.

Leaving the two girls for a minute Ty walked over to where Jynx and Matty were standing so that he could say hi to both of them. Coming up to the two of them he arrived just in time to over hear them talking about Jack. "I might," Ty said with a laugh just after Jynx got through saying that Jack wouldn't dare push him into the bog with so many witnesses around. "I don't mind. Witnesses or no witnesses." Ty continued just kidding with the older Hufflepuff.

Jynx just laughed at Ty's words. "Hey Ty," he said with a smile coming over his face. "I doubt you could throw me into that bog even if you tried."
They were pretty close to the bog but still it would take considerable effort to get Jynx into it now that he was on his guard. Besides there was a difference in height with Ty being shorter for his age so Jynx would have the advantage over the little Snake.
Just kidding around Jynx grabbed Ty and threw him towards the bog saying with a pronounced smile across his face, "Although a nice swim around the bog might do you a bit of good." Jynx never actually intended for Ty to go into the bog. He was just playing around with the him and was quite shocked when he lost his grip on the little snake and sent him flying in the bogs direction. The accompanied splash and shocked look on Ty’s face made Jynx double up with laughter. “My bad mate,” Jynx said trying not to laugh, “Must have lost my grip somehow.”
